It's not painful at all .. lapbars = good ... the "Traver Turn" which is after the first loop behind the shoot-the-chutes is very odd feeling however .. the loops are quite weird as well.

Joyland isn't open and prolly will never be again, the new park their in Wichita is getting a Schwarzkopf City Jet next year however.

Yes only PTC trains for now on a steel coaster. The Hopkins trains were destroyed, well one of them, the other was donated to ACE for the museum and one car is under the ride in the small museum they have along with one of the Comet cars from the State Fair of Texas.

Itll work at SFMM .. SNA has issues sometimes, when we flew in for Solace we were delyaed 2 hours getting out cause of baggage claim issues and rental car issues .. that sucked. SNA is the furthest away from SFMM, close to almost 90 miles away, so your gonna have some fun times with that

They keep things closed on purpose so you come back and spend more money WT was closed last CoasterMania when we went .. I was pissed, but hey we came back a month later and got it and then TTD was closed the next day .. but hey didn't ruin anything for us.

Ohio parks seem to have issues with sinking rides. Personally I enjoy Vortex, it isn't as rough as some of the older Arrow mega-loopers, plus the slow corkscrews make it interesting. I vote for Face/Off or Flight of Pain .. I mean Fear.

Raptor is nice up until the first part of the Cobra Roll when it beats your head senseless .. but still nice ride. Not much longer til CoasterMania !

The Texas Tornado was designed on a napkin for less than $1 million .. final tag was $950,000. I think the PTC train on their cost more than the whole ride did. It's a nice little ride, weird feeling tho, kinda hard to explain the feeling on it.

Sounds like anything from virus to hard drive crash. The DLL files it was missing you recall what they were exactly. The powering on and off also may be associated to the motherboard having an issue as in it got flashed, cpu issues, ram issues, etc. It's really hard to determine without looking and seeing it first hand. Right now it sounds mainly like a Hard Drive crash, it may be savable. If the platters are damaged tho, it won't be unless you pay like $10,000 for a professional company to save the drive. If it's a software crash, as in Windows, you just need to reformat .. you can save data on the drive but you'll need another machine with Windows and/or Linux if it gets bad.

It is, that's what we got last summer, nice deal actually. SFMM is doable if they are open during the week, but it's a haul from Orange County .. close to 65 miles one way. Might look to see what airport your flying into, if it's BUR (Burbank) or LAX (Los Angeles) you should just go to SFMM first if that's what you want to do. The other airports ONT (Ontario), SNA (Orange County) and LGB (Long Beach) might make it a little harder, none are more than 80 miles away .. just have to deal with the traffic and possible airport/airplane delays.

I prefer my food cooked .. but then again I don't do alot of seafood so I can't comment.

Ahh I can't wait .. no only adding 1 that day, but also another at SFKK .. so Legend and Raven, Chang at SFKK and this all in one day .. I hope I live to make it to CP that night.

The more I look at it I think it will be the largest line in the world .. screw a coaster, let's go on the line ride!

New blog makes it look like a new GG woodie with steel structure .. man I hope .. you know it will at least be Gravity Group cause of their relation with Larry Bill and the fact Gravity Group helps on rehab and with the Raven secon train adding this year.

Hopefully the lines arent long next Thursday night since we are swinging in just for this ride.
