  1. Be interesting to compare this and Efteling's once they are both finished - both parks are renowned for their top-notch theming, let's see who gets the edge..
  2. If it turns out like the concept (hopefully but I doubt) It will be one awesome ride...
  3. Furius Baco - awesome! Love it rough..
  4. Really excited about this park! Good to see some vertical construction has started on the coasters! I wonder what the theme for the enclosed drop one will be? What about "Suspiria" all in red and blues candy colours..!
  5. Here's the link on Parksmania.it with some really cool youtube footage by peppe2994: shot on the opening day there are videos of the entire park seen from their sky ride, the storm off-ride and their cool dark ride the school, hope I'm not breaking any rules by posting a link, enjoy... http://www.parksmaniaclub.it/forum/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=3238&start=1410r
  6. Real cool pix! Do you know if fire effects are going to be added to the ride-show..?!
  7. Great to hear! Really excited about this now!!!
  8. Very smart move from The Canevaworld resort and Movieland! Looks soo cool, can't wait to try it! This park in it's quirky kind of way always manage to be original..
  9. Bit sad really, and now that the REAL Ispeed will find it's way to Holland...
  10. Just gorge! Can't wait to ride... If it is comparable to an old school invert even the better...
  11. Soo curious to see how they manage to achieve the effects of lightning and rain...
  12. Theming coming along nicely thanx to Mr Mazzoli, Gardaland's ex art director lets hope they'll stick with the park map concept so we'll have the mountain with the waterfall too... Can't wait to go and ride!
  13. I have been among the lucky ones that tried Raptor during the filming of the tv add and I really loved it! I can tell you that it's incredibly smooth even on the back seats (or so I have been told since I rode only the front) Rather intense first drop and throughly enjoyable layout, the very best head choppers ever seen; I have seen myself splattered on the theming from the first to the last ride I took: lasting effect! A definite 360 winner finally! Can't wait to see it completed with all the water effects, and hope when you'll get the chance to try it out, you'll enjoy it as much as myself...! Brava B&M !!!
  14. Didn't know where to post this but there are some news about Gardaland's NEW COASTER for 2011: http://www.gate2000.com/dem/2010/gardaland140720101606.htm If you click on the hilighted word "qui" that will bring to a questionnaire that shows some artworks and details about the coaster.. Looks rather interesting..! It more or less translate as: 800 meters of track length, 30 meters of height, a raptor-bird theme with 90 degrees banked turns, 2 inline-twists, radent passages on scenographic elements and a sweeping turn skimming a "lake" with water effects... If that s true that could be awesome.. I only wish It was a bit longer ( I'm a spoiled bratt !!)
  15. Great Europe trip update! Glad you enjoyed our parks, come back soon guys..

  17. Love "Furius Baco" in the front inner seats: tremendous launch and simple but effective layout..
  18. Love your pictures, Gardaland has always been a gorgeous looking park, can't wait to see your update on "Mirabilandia"... P.S. Mirabilandia's water-rides are not that dry..! Did you try Niagara or Raratonga? (Bit more like soaking..)
  19. Yes, as already mentioned the tallest waterslide in the world is the "Spacemaker" at Aqualandia waterpark in Jesolo, Italy. I believe that TPR will be there this comming summer sometime...
