  1. I just soiled my pants.
  2. Yay for this thread not being dead! I've just started track season, and I managed a 5:03 in the mile , which puts me in the unfortunate position of having to drop at least three seconds off my mile time, which is really annoying.
  3. It all looks great! I love the detail inside Area-51's station, and the layout is pretty awesome. My only complaint is I really don't like the vertical second hill on Top Thrill Rocks, it isn't realistic and looks pretty painful. I look forward to seeing more of this project!
  4. Post some pics as you go so we can help you out with little details.
  5. From what I can see, that last turn still looks banked a bit odd, and I don't like the supports. Check out some B & M hypers and their support structures on RCDB: CLICKY CLICKY
  6. ^I'd rather see you adding more park structure before starting on a second coaster. We can't vote on anything until we know how it will fit in the park.
  7. I'd suggest comparing it to some real Dive Machines on rcdb.com to get this more accurate, in terms of first drops and supports. I'd like to see some more pictures though!
  8. Great job! It's nice to finally get a good overview of the park!
  9. Just watched Robb's video, and now I can't stop laughing. TWISTY! TWISTY! Oh god, I love this site.
  10. Happiness is waiting 6 months with people complaining about a new mega-coaster just to hear positive reviews when it finally opens.
  11. I'm guessing this will go where the spinning mouse was, as it was being dismantled when I went there a year ago, unless that space has already been taken. Anyone around there know?
  12. Nice tutorial! I like the idea of posting all these, they help a lot. I personally would love one on making track invisible, just because I always manage to fail horribly...
  13. Has anyone used the new video chat feature? It just seems kind of creepy to me, having had seen Chat Roulette...
  14. Nice job, looks very realistic! My only suggestion at the moment would be to add some terrain. NIghtmare uses a nice little ravine on the first drop, try something like that.
  15. Curse you! As a freshman I haven't even hit the hard parts of high school and I'm already done. My bro just got into Hamilton, so I feel like I should be going to college pretty soon, but oh well.
  16. Under the Great White Northern Lights. The White Stripe's new rockumentary. Watch it. Now. Really.
  17. I'm a Montu fan all the way, although I really loved Nemesis when I finally got to it last summer. The batwing element is so fantastically powerful, it surprised the crap out of me! Even having had ridden other batwing elements, like Afterburner at Carowinds, I have never felt anything quite like Montu's. That and the theming/tunnels made me choose it.
  18. That last turn was slow and banked a bit odd. I'd rework that and possibly lower the height of the last few hills to get more airtime. Rather than that, I like the design a lot! The layout was B&M style but still unique, which is pretty hard to do. Maybe replace the last turn with a helix of some sort? Just a suggestion.
  19. Sad news for Disney fans: Source: http://www.fessparker.com/fess_parker.htm
  20. Wow! 62 times? Even as a roller coaster enthusiast, that's pretty crazy for a wooden coaster, especially just on a normal day. I'm assuming you were good pals with the operators by the time that day was over.
  21. ^That probably isn't as bad as it seems. If the ride takes 10 minutes, then there would be a 50 minute wait, including the preshow. That's not really too bad for such a huge attraction as this.
  22. Looks nice. I like the road through the park. However, I think that the park seems a bit small for a strata, but then again, I haven't seen the rest of the park!
  23. Wow! That's a huge layout! Everything looks amazing. The station is awesome, the layout unique and yet still B & M style, and I really hope that thing on the left of the station is a tunnel .
  24. ^Wow! I hadn't noticed the supports. Great job as usual. The station house has some sick support beam work, which looks awesome. I also like the second building's awnings and flower bed.
  25. Haha! Awesome! I love this site. I once pretended that I was a lumberjack, and this girl from China believed me! I had the whole beavers, flapjacks and flannel thing going, and she never caught on. I see great potential in this thread.
