  1. Just adding my opinion. Don't need to like it, all you trolls.
  2. Meh. I think there have been FAR worse fails than selling old t-shirts. I don't think you'd last a minute in China. The bad translations would make you kill yourself with a TOGO restraint.
  3. That would explain the lack of young people at ACE events...
  4. Quick little sketch I made when I was bored. Probably took a little less than an hour. Inspiration was from Adventureland concepts. I was going to put a B&M Invert right in the back but I couldn't get the angle right. Oh well.
  5. Larrygator: GIggle. By the way, it's not stupid in context, it's just very funny that someone had to actually consider that. No disrespect, LarryG.
  6. Not necessarily, I was poking a little fun. It's more of a different level of commitment, where most people don't have that kind of time. I was more of referring to the level of gameplay as crazy, not really the people.
  7. Already looking better! You get the idea, which is really nice considering that most people would just blow off advice.
  8. I like the idea, but the presentation is lacking a bit. What you have here is a nicely themed RCT park with some good coasters. What sets really great parks apart from this one is realism. To truly grasp what RCT parks can be, go to www.nedesigns.com and check out some of the parks there. Granted, the people on that site are absolutely crazy with realism and design, but you will notice how they create an immersive atmosphere with landscaping, architecture, and rides. So, my tips are: -make the atmosphere fuller to the people walking through the park. Think about how Disney and Universal create a story and use that to your advantage. Your rides do that already, do that for the other patrons, too. -Create some hills. It's boring, but effective. -Spend more time with your theming. Make it beautiful. Things like foliage and ground color can do wonders here. I really like the potential in this park. Keep it up!
  9. I could have seen this a little while ago, but the wait threw me off. Great decision and good luck with it! I'll watch closely.
  10. Looks good. My only suggestion would be to try and use the steep drop pieces on the first drop. Schwarzkopf is famous for his steep dives, and the first drop doesn't look right. The others look fine, though.
  11. Giggle. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ctVmNbVu2KA
  12. That was really nice! The turn in the lift hill actually worked pretty well with the theming, not awkward at all. The layout is very nice, and the position over the lake is spectacular. Some very nice realism in terms of theming and layout. Great job!
  13. Ok, just checking. Much thanks .
  14. Hey, so I'm not new, but I don't exactly know what backseat mod-ing really is. I commented on a topic where someone else was trying to get it locked, and I welcomed the guy who started it because he was new and showed him the page to introduce himself. Is this considered mod-ing? Sorry, I know this is kind of stupid reading it over now, but I'd like to know exactly what you can get in trouble for so I won't do it unintentionally. Thanks.
  15. Oh man, I'm glad I was inside that day. It looked horrible out. I'm really happy about Predator's new trains. Did they add the headrests themselves? They weren't on the Voyage. Doesn't matter though, I'm happy the management is following through with fixing it up. NIce report!
  16. Hey, welcome to TPR! I don't think this is necessarily a bad contest, I just think that if you want good participation, you might want to get acquainted with the forum and its users first. Show off some of your stuff, get known on the forums, prove that you will be a valuable contributor, and then contests like these will be much easier to get going. To start off, you can introduce yourself HERE
  17. Whoops (uber embarrassment). My bad. Considering how little I know about all this, I'll stay out of this one.
  18. Um... This isn't very new, dude. I got it a while back and never felt like putting it together. I do know that some people theme theirs pretty cool though.
  19. That merged together all the best parts of different B&M's. The Apollo's Chariot move into the tunnel was my personal fave. The use of 3ds are fantastic, too. Not enough to be unrealistic but enough to look like what a real park would do. Fantastic job!
  20. The realism of this is absolutely unbelievable. Great job!
  21. Geez, I was actually there that day! I rode early so I guess I missed out.
  22. That woodie kind of hurts my eyes. I really like this park, it feels really organic and reminds me of what RCT really is like stand-alone. Good job!
  23. I like that sign. It's these kind of touches that makes a park great.
