  1. Not surprisingly, I hadn't seen a report on this place for quite some time. It still looks like a great time and there are some very intriguing rides there. I'd love to visit sometime. Too bad there has to be a Volare, though.
  2. ^^^They had me at "falice." I mean, um, no comment. You are a lucky, lucky man.
  3. ^Great post, it seemed to make sense for the most part. I hope the fluffy bunny policy, new or not, is consistent among all their coasters. I know it's a controversial topic, though. Gritty SchwarzPorn is always better than none.
  4. Kemah Boardwalk has a three-ride maximum for Boardwalk Bullet. Didn't stop me from marathoning it, though! At SeaWorld San Antonio, I know there is a two-ride limit for Quick Queue on Great White, as that's what I was using (when there were no lines). However I'm not sure if that's to keep Quick Queue use "fair" or if it applies to all riders. IME, Wild Waves lets you stay in empty rows on Timberhawk. I usually only marathon during ERT, so I'm mostly aware of the most famous and infamous examples already posted by others. I will say that I do appreciate and prefer generous re-ride policies, but don't generally mind walking around.
  5. ^Yeah, what is up with that? Granted I'm not expecting the answer to be anything too exciting... I totally forgot RRE was going to be called Mr. Six's DanceCoaster! It almost seems even creepier in hindsight.
  6. ^Wow, that sounds even better than the drop through the Tremors gift shop at Silverwood.
  7. Yeah, just Monte in 2010, which was lovely. I've ridden an Arrow shuttle loop more recently. Long live the Schwarzkopf Shuttle Loops!
  8. ^I want to live in your world. It sounds very nice there. Whatever happened to the new coaster rumor from a year or two back? I would think they'd be ready for a new one by now. A third Manta of either kind would be nice (I can definitely see the San Diego one fitting in better).
  9. 19/21, with an additional one I could've gotten right (wasn't properly clued in on the focus of the organization).
  10. It's Chocolate Cream Pie Day! Get yours before they sell out!
  11. ^^What the hell?! Maybe it's just me, but that looks really...creepy. I demand video. But if it's really a good design (not painful or pointlessly gimmicky), then hopefully it will take off! It seems like it could be a great way to refresh those generic ol' Wild Mice.
  12. The GP can sniff out an idiot. This sounds like a case of the karma. Agreed; if enough people know the facts, the stupidity will be at the forefront of people's minds and comments. On the other hand, as with anything else, of course some people are going to get things twisted or make up crazy rumors. I just don't see the motivation for this. If he isn't just plain crazy, the only thing that would make sense is some kind of encouragement from others (i.e. a dare). Simply skipping a long line and/or sliding incorrectly clearly isn't anywhere near a comprehensible reason. I wonder if there's any reasonable way to prevent things like this when someone is so sneaky and determined to break rules. I guess it's one of those things that will probably only happen once, though.
  13. ^I just knew I had to have ridden at least one Schwarzkopf flat ride. While it's not one of my favorites, I enjoyed being able to ride the Bayern Kurve as part of Kennywood's excellent ride collection. Hopefully the next time I'm at CGA, I'll be able to ride that one too.
  14. Thank goodness! While it doesn't quite sound amazing, I've been interested in the coaster for a while, so I freaked out when I saw the new thread subtitle. Hopefully the historic rides will continue a long life in this new arrangement.
  15. I...I think I would have a heart attack before even getting to the burger part. Say, don't I have family in Sacramento I should go visit?
  16. Best view on a roller coaster? Depends on my riding partner.
  17. True story... little dolls eat YOUR FACE while they sleep
  18. Agreed; I found this very strange (though I'm sure there are plenty of theories out there). It seems like the other coasters are kept in good-to-excellent shape (I do realize they may not be the hardest rides to care for), plus GCIs tend toward the smooth side much of the time. I'm sure they're aware of the issues, so I don't get why they can't or won't do anything about it that lasts. Maybe they just couldn't repair all the pre-MF track damage? Anyway, the coaster that absolutely NEEDS its Topper Tracking completed is the murderous Georgia Cyclone. Another good candidate would be Timber Wolf; it's definitely rough enough to need it, and it has an excellent layout to take advantage of. Isn't some Topper Track rumored for it?
  19. ^^That was wicked awesome. I love the Kumba roar.
  20. Cheetah Hunt yesterday in the front row. It is amazing and quite honestly one of the greatest rides ever.
  21. Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure!
  22. Manta at Seaworld Orlando. Yay! Edit: I know no one cares, but for the record, it was actually Windstorm at Old Town. Easy to forget about.
  23. Sheikra during HoS tonight. Love it.
  24. Um, Gwazi Lion. I won't say how I felt about it...
