  1. Simple, put what wooden coaster trains you like best. Intamin's dont count because you cant put them on standard wooden coaster track.
  2. My favorite coaaster moment is when I was 5, I went on my first coaster, Yankee Cannonball, at Canobie Lake Park. I had no idea what to expect, and it had just rained. It was fast, and full of airtime. Still my favorite wooden coaster. Yankee Cannonball is a 1930 PTC wooden coaster. Up until a few years ago it had gone 40 years without new trains or major retrack. 2 weeks after my first ride it was closed for a major retrack by CCI and new trains by PTC with seat dividers and headrests. Suprisingly, the new trains are very comefertable and the buzz bars allow some great airtime.
  3. It looks more like "Inclined Pretzel Loop" to me. Great coaster so far. Cant wait for the finished product.
  4. Wow. This is beyond words. i just cant belive that you are opening a water park! One question, Why saltwater? Why not chlorinated freshwater?
  5. Could you possibly post a video? It would be Coastertube's first Knex coaster!
  6. I got in a fight and got suspended today. =/
  7. Currently a 1st Class. Aiming for Eagle. Troop 22 Yankee Clipper Council.
  8. Whats wrong with Deja Vu? I know its just a Vekoma, but ive always sort of liked it.
  9. The reason why B&M coasters are so smooth is because all three wheels are always in contact with the track. Less wheel play, less vibration. Arrow coasters hav a centimeter or so between the side friction wheels and the track, causing wheel play, which causes vibration. vibration=head banging.
  10. Thats too bad. I hope Canyon Blaster survives. Arrows are fairly durable. First, they need to fix up the dome and get some less ghetto rides in there.
  11. I had tunnel vision for a second on one of the helixes on SROS at SFNE.
  12. Cyclone at Six Flags New England. I love this ride. I was one of the last riders on it before they added more trim brakes in 2001. Possibly if GCI retracked this they could get rid of some of the trim brakes.
  13. Its got its new trains and has tested with them, so the refurbishment is probably over. It just needs certification form the state to operate.
  14. Has anyone been on this ride? It is an OD Hopkins steel looping coaster. It was called Red Devil until 2002 wen the park closed. It reopened in 2008 as the Cliff Diver and was painted yellow, and was give custom open air cars similar to X-Cars. Does anyone have a POV or a video of the ride in operation? I want to know if its worth a stop on my 2009 summer trip.
  15. I prefer the good old Eli Bridge Scrambler. They can also run backwards. Well, at least the one at Whalom Park did.
  16. Its the exact same model coaster as Quassy's wild mouse. An Alan Herschell Monster Mouse.
