  1. Have any foreign TPR members tried to view Hulu through an American proxy such as Ultra Surf? My guess is that Hulu has blocked all UK ips so if you mask it behind an American ip, you might be able to get through and watch videos... Ultra Surf doesn't load Flash as well though so the video may seem a bit choppy, freeze, or not load all the way, but it's still better than nothing. I'm not sure whether this occurs with other proxy programs...
  2. ^ Is it MGM/Hollywood Studios?
  3. Golf Pic... Idlewild?? ^ Disneyland?
  4. Hey everyone... I managed to finally get my Facebook account open. http://www.facebook.com/home.php#/profile.php?id=1506958034&ref=nf Just say you're from TPR and I'll add you.
  5. Those swings seriously look really really strange. I wonder if you're able to swing over the bar with those. It's stuff like this that really makes me feel sorry for today's generation. A lot of the new playgrounds I've seen use bits of shredded tires packed together instead of sand/wood chips. I can remember when McDonald's Playlands actually had actual playground equipment, which probably would be met with lawsuits today. Are children not allowed to have fun anymore?
  6. The banner itself doesn't look TOO bad. Right now the banner looks okay, but I'm pretty sure the ride would look a lot better with all the LED's going full blast. Now hopefully Universal can fix all the kinks and finish testing as soon as possible.
  7. I get it!!! They're building an African-themed GCI and an Intamin themed to a storm. Reference to TOGO - reference to a defunct coaster company that shares the same name as an African country. Prowler is a coaster that has some sort of African theme = African-themed GCI. Something's brewing + references to lightning = Something storm related. Intamin built Storm Runner, which has the word storm in its name = Intamin themed to a storm.
  8. Something I really need to get off my chest... Last night I stayed up until 1 o'clock waiting to get our seats for the bus to New York. My dad reserved seats a week in advance and the e-ticket told us to arrive at least 20 minutes before the buses arrived. We arrived twenty minutes before the bus came, but apparently, the company that runs the buses booked OUR seats to somebody else even though we reserved our seats a week in advance. There was a sign posted that you needed to be there 1 hour in advance, which was not mentioned on the e-ticket. They didn't give refunds, but fortunately my dad managed to call the credit card company and get his money back. On top of that, this happened to a few other groups that reserved seats in advance as well. Once the first bus came (there were supposed to be two buses), the entire place became chaotic and unorganized. The first bus managed to sit in the lot for around a half hour before it left. There was supposed to be a second bus but that was supposed to arrive at 1 in the morning so we decided to leave... We managed to visit Luray Caverns today instead. It was beautiful... I highly recommend it to anyone visiting western VA. The Blue Ridge Mountains are amazing...
  9. Inside the Winter Storm - Dragonforce How in the world did I overlook this song??? It's incredible!!!
  10. ^ There were rumors of KD's yellow supports ending up at CW on top of blue track in containers stored behind the parkl, but there hasn't been any track sightings or construction that I know of lately. I guess they're not getting anything...
  11. Six Flags Great Adventure
  12. To tell you the truth, I'm not a big fan of the small disk on the HUGE structure for the Giant Frisbee. It seems kind of disproportionate. Though I'm not sure if there's a way to make the disk bigger though so I won't let that bother me too much... Overall - Another amazing park from what I've seen so far. The dragon on the rapids ride is probably one of if not THE best rock formation-structure thing I've ever seen on RCT.
  13. ^ It's actually the ??? and Rumble show. At least until they can find a replacement for Tommy, who resigned Monday... I'm pretty sure she would do this when the park is closed and nobody's around. If she decided to visit the park during operating hours, she would probably ride it a million times as her "intimate" moment. And as cfc said, the ride would probably be hosed off after she has her "moments" before the park opens. Which makes me wonder though... How in the world will she even have her "intimate" moments when nobody's around? - Dan - "Creativity???"
  14. Funny... They were referring to this video on the ??? and Rumble morning show today and I immediately thought of this thread. I'm kinda surprised that she went through actually marrying the ride. But I'm glad she found her true love even if it is a Magic Carpet ride and I wish her good luck in her relationship. - Dan - "Is Phoenix taken yet?"
  15. Good luck on finishing this. Can't wait to see more... Architecture, scenery, and coasters are great-looking. For Columbia Carousel, I feel there needs to be a bit more white/gold, but overall, you did a great job trying to recreate it.
  16. I have this exact same issue. It really pisses me (and my parents) off when I tend to slack off and when I don't slack off, it's already too late. rant 1: I've got mosquito bites on my arms and legs. They're annoying as $h!+. And on top of that, I only went outside for a few minutes just to pick up some mail. rant 2: My 3 year-old nephew came back and he's acting worse than ever. He was good on Monday and Tuesday, but he's a lot more unruly, more demanding, and disrespectful (like he was last week) today. I swear my sister (his mother) doesn't spend enough time with him because he was complaining about homesickness all day today.
  17. It looks like you're off to a great start. I won't go into TOO much criticism until you start adding in the details... Good: - Building design is excellent. Bad: - Not too much scenery. Overall: - Just be sure to add lots more scenery/theming for any future updates. Place a few more buildings around some of the rides/food stalls. Add a few more windows on some of the buildings so they don't look plain and be sure to add lots of flowers/shrubs to make the park look nicer. The park is very promising IMO.
  18. This design, theming, architecture is absolutely amazing. You should turn this into a full-sized park once you finish Sunset Heights. My biggest issue is the water feature. I think you should form it into a large mountain-like structure instead of having just waterfalls. Overall, everything is incredible. I can't wait to see the finished product...
  19. I got an A in Public Speaking!! 3 more days until New York!! Listening to an awesome CD!! I had a pretty bad week last week and this week is getting better and better. The only thing holding me back is the fact that one of the hosts of my favorite morning radio show resigned yesterday. It won't feel the same...
  20. 9/20 Guessed on most of them. I got all the obvious ones right. Does this mean I'm still somewhat normal?
  21. Call of Ktulu - Metallica Great song... Ride the Lightning is a great CD IMO.
  22. I may be going to New York City for the second time in my life this weekend if everything turns out okay. I'm very excited sice I absolutely love the city.
  23. Some of the pathways seem a bit too wide IMO. Maybe you should increase the scenery around the entrance and maybe add some plants/flowers around some of the larger paths... Other than that, I'm glad you're going back to this project. The park is already very well-done.
  24. Hello everyone... Edit: I got a few more brochures this weekend... Some brochures.maps that I would love to have... 2000 Cedar Point 2001 Busch Gardens Williamsburg 2006 Walt Disney World 2007 Universal Orlando 2007 Cedar Point brochure 2008 King's Dominion - Dan
