  1. I spotted your stalker in 11 pictures and she followed you across 18 different parks. I had to do a few recounts to get it right. Someone should call the police!
  2. CP is known for its coasters so I'm not surprised that the number of people who come for the coasters is that high. Families will most definitely come for a new ride, but that doesn't mean that people won't be attracted by the 17 roller coasters the park has to offer. I think this president is good for CF. SF's family ride formula was pretty successful for the chain, getting it out of debt and bankruptcy as well as turning their image around. If CF focuses more on family rides and quality over quantity, they'll go back to the way they were in the early 2000s.
  3. This ride has a set of brakes right after the launch too. Yes it is a holding brake, but still. Not sure what everyone's beef is with the MCBR.
  4. Looks like this park has a lot of inspiration from Disney. There's gonna be a Soarin' knockoff and what looks like Spaceship Earth-based motion simulator. The park even showed 3D footage of Sleeping Beauty Castle. Large rides I've seen so far include a star flyer, a top spin, a frisbee, and a shoot the chutes. Considering the park is building knockoff coasters, I'm sure these rides will be knockoffs too. Theming looks to be on par with all the other Chinese parks springing up in recent years. The land with the ambulances and smoke coming out of the buildings looks interesting. I wonder what that area is themed to. Disasters? Why is it that a lot of these knockoff SLCs lose speed so quickly. By the time the train reached the immelmann, the train was practically crawling through the layout. The 11-inversion coaster looks to be more inspired by Colossus/10 Ring Coaster and than the more recent projects.
  5. You seem to come up with a lot of really cool coaster concepts and pull them off with exceptional theming. This is definitely one of those crazy, unique concepts. I'm surprised nobody's thought of something like this before. Keep working on these projects and definitely push to finish them. I'd love to see some of those workbench projects finished with the amazing level of detail you put into your rides.
  6. Got a chance to catch up on a ton of movies this week. Planning on watching a few more. Let's start. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire + Order of the Phoenix. I plan on watching Half Blood Prince tonight and Deathly Hallows 1 tomorrow. So far the series is pretty good. Having just read Deathly Hallows, I'm excited for part 1. Order was my personal fave of all the HP movies thus far. The Hangover - I got some good laughs out of this movie. I can see why everyone loves it so much. Shrek 4 - OK movie. It's pretty much a variation of the already tired Shrek formula. On it's own it's above average but it's easily the worst of the Shrek movies. Monsters v. Aliens - good movie. Despicable Me - Great movie. It feels kinda like a Pixar film and I can see why people love it so much. Those minions are so cute. Same goes for Megamind, which was great. Cars 2 - I actually enjoyed this movie. Sure the spy element was a bit overdone, and they could've focused more on Lightning, but I liked it. Probably not Pixar's best, (I might even say it's their worst film) but it's still a pretty good watch. The Muppets - This was an awesome movie. Great music, great acting, and best of all, the Muppets There were a few cheesy sections that probably weren't necessary (like that rap scene) but it was good overall. I just finished Monty Python and the Holy Grail today too and I loved it. I may have missed a few movies here and there. Too bad my sister doesn't have a better movie collection.
  7. Those people at BGW Fans don't know what they're talking about. That turn is sexy, reminiscent of the BBW's final drop, which means it'll probably pack a nice little punch at the bottom. The purple track isn't too bad looking either (is that purple?). I've noticed that one of the supports in the forest is facing a different direction too which reminds me of one of 305's high speed turns. Definitely won't be as thrilling or intense, but I'm still blown away at how awesome this project is turning out. Can't wait to see the bridge set up. It's gonna look amazing over the river.
  8. Having seen some crowded parks in RCT, I don't really have a problem with crowding in this case as long as it works and it looks nice. The colors could be a bit diversified though. That's probably my biggest issue with this park at the moment. Other than that, it's pretty impressive. Almost reminds me of dmaxba's parks visually.
  9. ^ You can still play games like Farmville for free, it's just that the games really aren't that fun to begin with and most of the in-game items are a ploy for you to spend money or require you to spam your news feed with wall messages. Speaking of Facebook games, Tetris Battle is so much fun, yet so damn frustrating at times. I'd get paired with some easy players and then out of the blue, I have a streak of players that kick my ass, either due to me making some stupid mistake or the game sending me crap pieces (most of you know how that happens). When just about every player has a losing streak that's higher than their winning streak, there must be some problem with getting paired up with others. I absolutely LOVE the competitive aspect and playing against people from all over the world though. It makes the game feel 10x more addicting and fun.
  10. ^ Griffon's 205 and Sheikra is 200, but you're close enough. As for the hyper element, I think he's going for a DM that has Hyper-style hills and not a regular DM that's 200 feet. This is a fantastic project. I couldn't follow the hints that were thrown around (bit too much reading for me ) but your viral campaigns are awesome as always leading up to a sweet looking coaster. And they said zero-G rolls couldn't be done on a DM, looks like you fixed that problem up!
  11. Those are some impressive pics. Especially some of those ride sign pics including the coaster and (my personal fave) the close up ride shots. You wouldn't happen to be a professional would you?
  12. That tilting track thing on the second lift has got to be one of the coolest things I've seen in RCT. How'd you do that? Also, the soundtrack feels very Zelda-ish. Did you get your music from that Zelda music site you posted not too long ago?
  13. - Theme park brochures from a friend. - A journal - A trip to the movies I'm pretty satisfied with what I got. I may receive money for New Years too!
  14. The drop doesn't need to be steep to be fun. It's kinda understandable to generate opinions of a ride when the park releases info, but in this case, we know almost nothing about the ride other than the final drop. IMO it's kinda hard to generate an opinion based on a ride we know nothing about.
  15. The park said there was gonna be a coaster section, right? So what if the coaster section has a layout like that with a lift hill instead of a launch? The park's been pretty secretive with the layout so who knows for sure how well the coaster is gonna turn out? In the end, this is still Intamin we're talking about and they're known for building sick coasters.
  16. ^ You mean like an Aquatrax? Imagine Divertical with a layout pre-drop like that. (And yes Intamin classifies Aquatrax coasters as water rides so it counts).
  17. I believe those warehouses are owned by a local trucking firm. Even then I doubt anything's going there since it's so close to the train tracks and so far from the park. Depends on how well V-bolt turns out. A Tower coaster doesn't seem out of the question as long as V-bolt is a success. I can see BGW having problems with the coaster during the summer though.
  18. 1. Sell V-bolt themed underpants 2. ??? 3. Profit
  19. Yes there will be a rickety bridge that you head into and drop out of. It was hinted at in one of the concept drawings and shown in the blueprints that were leaked a few months ago.
  20. - I would buy video games. Lots and lots of video games. - I would buy BGW and pay the KIngsmill residents to shut up about any noise. - I'd get myself one of those cool display trains that they have in the IAAPA show floor. - New car/house doesn't sound bad. - Travel the world and visit countries that I otherwise would've never visited. - Travel to different parks on my world tour. - Bailing out countries in financial trouble is a good idea. - I'd buy out Facebook and add dislike buttons to everyone's profile. Throw in the ability to revert your profile back to old settings and improve privacy. - Private island anyone? - Organize an end of the world TPR party cruise aboard the two biggest cruise liners in the world in December 2012 - Go into outer space. - Take over the world
  21. I just go into the image viewer and rotate the image (there should be a button that lets you rotate images on the dashboard for Windows users). How'd you get access into Festa? I thought that area was closed off. BTW: Sprite and Sierra Mist are both nasty. It's all about Mountain Dew.
  22. Happy Birthday Cole! So far I like the park and can't wait to see the rest. Just add some windows etc. to the red wild mouse building and figure out a way to fix that gap in the woodie's lift hill. Another quick note. Don't let the timeline aspect hold you back too much on general improvements to the park like landscaping. I'm pretty sure real parks take the time to improve their landscaping all the time.
  23. I never buy drinks from theme parks, but a Freestyle machine would be a good incentive for me to start. I may even buy a refillable cup. If the park provides regular fountains, I'm better off asking for ice water.
  24. Those levels in Angry Birds where you have to make some sort of miracle shot in order to win. Oh and those levels in Angry Birds where they force you to knock down a huge-ass structure with only 3 birds (which usually leads to me having to make some sort of stupid miracle shot anyway). First world problems
  25. I actually enjoy both Coke and Pepsi products and I will miss Mountain Dew. But if this deal means adding amazing Coke Freestyle machines everywhere, I fully support this change 110%. That might even convince me to buy soda from the park.
