  1. Journey to the Center of the Earth-This slide has animatronic dinosaurs, including a big t-rex. It also the typical tropical themeing with palm trees (inside the ride), steaming mountains (I think) and waterfalls. I guess the best way to describe it would be like the Jurassic Park ride at IOA, but to a lesser extent, and in tube slide version. Storm-Has knocked over buildings and telephone poles. Inside the ride, there are strobe lights and water! This one, in my opinion, is themed the least. Pharaoh ride (Forgetting its name)- Pyramids, Sphinx, rock arches, mummies. You know, the usual Egyptian themeing.
  2. Pat yourself on the back, its like taking candy from a baby! The Chargers better win the AFC West, or you have serious problems, and this is coming from a Bronco fan. I mean, seriously, the Broncos, Raiders and Chiefys? Bolts take it again, and choke in the playoffs, again.
  3. ^Yes, you do. Two body bowl slides, one enclosed and one open. And then also a ProSlide tube bowl, called Revolution. Jordan "Still waiting for Waterworld to get a Wildebeest" Darrington
  4. Gonna head out to the Bronco's first preseason home game to participate in Team Tebow hysteria. Should be interesting.
  5. From their facebook- Ha. I can't get enough of Alton Towers and their ride. I love their marketing! So, does this count as two coasters if you get the Fo14teen credit? hahaha.
  6. Sorry if I should know this, but who are the two guys riding? Great to see this coaster back open, now to get back out there!
  7. Have a great trip guys, I am jealous of your travels!
  8. I'm 20 today. What a worthless birthday, haha!
  9. I didn't mind the show in Vegas, but I think from a amusement industry stand point, this is a good move.
  10. Understatement. That song was stuck in my head all day after riding it once! Thank you for posting these pictures, it has been a great trip report!
  11. Did the headless lady in Mystery Castle jump out and chase people around the room? Scared me! Great update, and can't wait for the last couple of updates. Its been about a month and it just hit me (again) how much fun I had on this trip.
  12. Thanks for posting this, EB! This "fair" looks incredibly fun and full of credits! I think it is crazy that there were 7 credits at one fair, that is more than most parks! I look forward to more of you, and Hans', Dutch adventures.
  13. LETS DO IT!! See now we all got to experience what you ate, and our lives are much better off! Good thing you learned from the best! Anything else I/Mike/Chris can help you with? Thanks for posting this report, it looks like quite the little park! Looks like there is a lot to do next time I head across the pond.
  14. I'll be at the park August 9th and 10th if anyone wants to meet up.
  15. Speaking from the other side of the fence, and I am sure Robb would agree, the main reason parks do not allow cameras on rides is from a safety stand point. Though I would say most responsible, mature adults can hold on to a camera, the act of filming sets a "tone" for others in the park, others that may not be able to hold on to their own cameras. So, for example's sake, lets say an older gentlemen brings a camera on a ride and exits the ride with his camera in his posession. However, a 12 year old sees that person doing it and decides he can do it too, so now you have a less mature individual on a ride with a camera. Things happen and next thing you know, said camera is falling off the ride. At this point, it has the possibility of injuring another guest on the ride, perhaps that very guest, or even, maybe, a guest in the queue line or on the midway. Next thing you know, you have a distraut guest with a broken camera and an injured guest that got hit, two alarming situations. I believe that is the reason cameras are generally frowned upon on rides, though, naturally, they still come out. Let's just watch Robb's videos anyways, they are better.
  16. Hans, is that last picture that beer bicycle you were telling me about?
  17. Thanks for posting this, Larry. That salt mine tour looks very interesting, and the slides, quite a unique experience. I knew you were staying after the trip ended, but I didn't know you traveled this much after we all left. You got to visit some truly remarkable and gorgeous destinations, I am quite jealous. Can't wait for the next update!
  18. So, very random question, and maybe the right location to post it? But... Have you or Robb ever ridden Olympia Looping before this trip?
  19. Absolutely gorgeous backdrop for a theme park. Cannot wait to see the rest of the updates! Butterflies and all.
