  1. This ride just seemed familiar in some way but at the time I couldn't figure it out, until now! It is strikingly similar to Insane Speed in Taiwan, just with a couple changes here and there. Not saying that your right isn't original, but it follows the first half of Insane Speed pretty much identically.
  2. I am not to fond of the name "headache" for a coaster. No one would actually want to ride a ride that has pain involved in it! That could just be my opinion though.
  3. The reach envelope hasn't moved in what seems like forever, what are they planning on doing and why haven't they done it yet? Thanks for all the updates!
  4. Positives: -Layout (though you forgot the tilt loop haha) -supports -Originality Negatives: -I wasn't too fond of the yellow trains -A little short, though I am sure that was the point. -Dont take me straight up for this, but the track seemed a littly jerky in the youtube clip. I really enjoyed this coaster, best one I have ridden in awhile. You should theme it up! Or theme it and then trash it because it got hit by a tsunami.
  5. Positives: -A realistic layout that felt like somethint Intamin would do. -Nice element selection -Colors Negatives: -The launch -Supports -Forces Suggestions: -Try having the launch outside of the station, notice in most accelerators that the launch is not directly out of station. -Watch the forces caused by poor banking -The supports didnt seem to be the most "true" Good coaster for sure, just some technical stuff as Dr said.
  6. Ya dude, just some word for thought. I just think your buildings could use some more shape and texture. For example, the water park is all 90 degree angles and the same color with the same windows. Throw a curve ball in there, mix things up a little bit! Have some fun! I have enjoyed following this park, though it seems you never sleep.
  7. ^I agree for the most part, but Batman is a twisted hunk of B&M engineering and this is roller coaster tycoon. There is only so much you can do with the 12 or whatever pieces that you have to make a coaster. I think it looks pretty good, for a recreation in RCT. I think you could work on your buildings a little and keeping the park a little bit tighter and better themed, but your still getting better. Keep it up.
  8. Are there two halves to the sign or is it just like that? If it is one piece, I would have liked a top down kind of sign better than the manta "flying". Edit: I mean a sign like the ones that label the rows in the station when I say top down sign. Looking great though, can't wait to see the construction done.
  9. ^^^ and ^ Thanks for the luck on the finals, I feel pretty good about them which could either be a good thing that I know it all, or a bad thing in that I am not going to study as much as I should. Next week I will devote solely to Macroeconomics and Introduction to Business. Probably should throw some weather in there too haha. To all you guys, thanks for you support working through this model. Words cannot express how excited I am at how this one turned out. By far my best model IMO, it just seems to be the most accurate and best built. Just give me time now, and I will build stations for this and TTD. Then, taking the advice on page 1 or 2 or something, will start work on another model. I am speaking with evergreen scale models about their styrene products as I type this. Should be fun! Thanks again!
  10. ^^^Neither of those links are working for me. Can you repost them or something?
  11. ^Cause that sure looks like a floor coaster haha!
  12. I don't like the fact that it slows down so much but I also don't think this will be a tame coaster by any means. Each of those drops will be crazy and I still think it looks like fun for the rest. Could just be me, but I don't think this was a bad investment by the park at all. Again, its not TTD or DB, but its also not something small and cheesy. Why are they testing the ride with riders with one train and the other isn't even complete yet? Thanks for the videos!
  13. 17 years and still no guests. I think this is Hard Rock Park v2.0
  14. It could just simply mean mega coaster since that would be a fitting title, but that would be way too easy. and boring. Like your mother.
  15. ^They could have planted earlier or used sod, it just looks really bare. I am sure they will fix it though.
  16. So the land once occupied by swan lake seems really bland or dead or something to me. Is there grass planted or is it supposed to look, IMO, really dead and dry because of the theme? I am looking through some other pictures, it didnt cross my mind once to have a duck fence until I saw that DB had one. After all the times of looking at sheikra and griffon, who would have thought of the ducks. They would get mowed over!
  17. How about a full park thread? The Giovanola (which it never occurred to me that the hypers weren't B&M) looks pretty cool! Lets see it! The coaster looks sweet though.
  18. Hey guys, the coaster got its final paint job and is looking spectacular! At this time though I will put the coaster on hold so that I can concentrate on the looming finals I must take. I will also wait until some TR's are posted so I can see any last details I will have to put into the ride including the buildings, lift hill, brake run and station. Thanks for watching me do this, it has been a ton of fun building this model! I present to you...TELE2 INSANE!!
  19. Joel! Thank you so much for posting those pics, they will aid in my building of the model for sure! Is there any of the complete buildings? Thanks again! Please check out my completely painted model of insane here.
  20. Sid- I have not posted anything of my spring break trip. As I looked back it is more just a bunch of cool pictures and videos rather than a trip report.
  21. Compared to every other water park it seems like this is a deal! How much will parking cost?
  22. I have some questions about the "how to" of your parks. How do you adjust the terrain the way you do? It looks like you made the grid a lot smaller and adjusted the land to more detail. Do you know what I am taking about? How do you build custom supports? I saw the links on the forum home page about the custom scenery, but I am not sure if supports are included in that. Keep up the great work, it looks great.
  23. Just a small blurb was posted on msn money this morning about 10 companies that might not survive the year. Just some more numbers and over due debts. Taken from here.
  24. What about best 3D wood model creator haha?
