  1. Great Job! Looking forward to your video. I showed this site to my parents, and they said you were crazy. When I said I wanted to do the same to their tree, they said I was crazy. Sigh. Some people just don't understand us coaster fanatics.
  2. ^ Maybe I should clarify this some more. That's not me in the picture. I took the picture. The camera wasn't mine--it belongs to the guy standing in the picture. Here's the story: We were at Yakima Training Center (YTC) in Sept 2003. While we were there, a group of Special Forces guys showed up, saying they needed to get rid of some demo (what we call explosives) and ask us if we wanted to join them. I had my 35mm camera with me taking rolls and rolls of pictures, so my Platoon Leader handed me his digital camera and let me go town. Of the three days we were training (and playing) with demo, one day I filled his memory card completely (some 150 to 200 pictures) and the other two days I nearly filled the card. I made a video with pictures from his camera and mine. Whenever I get around to recompressing it into a downloadable format (the current one is over 300 MB for a seven minute video), I'll post it somewhere so you guys can watch it.
  3. The guy standing in my avatar isn't me. It's my Platoon Leader.
  4. . . . another nose job for Micheal Jackson, only this time . . .
  5. Never heard of Mischief Night, but as a teenager, I was known for my TP jobs! What's your favorite candy?
  6. ^ From what I hear from Comedy Central, is that the Chappelle show will not run another season. There will be some new sketches to be aired sometime in Spring '06.
  7. That was my first thought as well. Of course, if I had drill over the weekend, my mind would definately be in the gutter!
  8. ^ A train fanatic. < Uses dry scalp Head and Shoulders (for what little hair I have). V Is contagious.
  9. Yes, and the odd thing is I'm right handed and I wear my watch on my right arm. Don't know why, but I've always had it that way. Whenever I play any game or sport that requires throwing, I move my watch to my left arm. Oh, wait a minute. Is a watch different from a wristband?
  10. Marilyn Manson is a perfect example of some one who can't sing or write music and still make millions of dollars creating ear grating noise. He said he wass the cutting edge for music, but I found it completely unoriginal and annoying. Still, I did think the pink police uniforms in the Dope Show video was amusing.
  11. Shuttle loops are all launched out of the station where as Boomerangs are pulled backwards up the first hill and let go. Launching out of the station is so much better. Besides, Deja Vu at SFMM is a Boomerang, and I hate that @#*&! ride!
  12. Not really, but a lot of Oregonians complain how many people from California are moving in. They seem to be bringing their problems with them. Honestly, I'm surprised they're not focusing on the US, considering all the bad rep our country is getting over the past few years.
  13. Screw all those games! Get Neverwinter Nights!!!
  14. Matterhorn is only rough because it's fast approaching fifty years! Ask any over forty person and they'll tell you parts start wearing down at that age. Of course, good maintenance will insure another fifty years of pleasure without a hitch. I agree with the others to start out at Knott's Berry Farm before moving onto Six Flag's Magic Mountain. Start out simple and work your way up, like start with Montazma's Revenge first before going on Excellerator (that will get you use to the catapults). It's okay to be a little scared the first time you ride a coaster. Once it's done, ride it again and again and again. You will find that it's much more enjoyable the second and third time around. If that doesn't help, just remind yourself that as dangerous as it feels, you have way more chances of getting injured in a car accident than on a roller coaster. (The fear factor is what often creates the rush!)
  15. ^ Rebel without a cause. < Yelling for no good reason. V Been to Never Never Land just for credits.
  16. No. My memory card only ejects. Have you ever snapped a picture of a sibling in an awkward situation and used as blackmail? (If you anwser yes, give us the juicy details.)
  17. I thought I heard the kid who died on Mission Space had a pre-existing health condition.
  18. ^ That's pretty much what they did with Loop-the-Loop. They used a glass of water and showed it did not spill through the loop.
  19. I a few years ago I heard a song, don't know the title or who sung it, but I remember a line from the chorus. It went something like "I just robbed a store, so now I'm going to Disneyland."
  20. That's interesting! (I still like what the did for the Loop-the-Loop better.)
  21. I decline to answer this question as it might cause jealosy for the Caramello. Do you like your chocolate plain?
  22. ^ Will injure himself trying to eat a Crunch bar without his boss seeing. < Took a long time to figure out how to shrink pictures for this forum. V Future ACE president.
  23. ^ Caused self-inflicted pain < Took a bubble bath v Loves Vekoma rides
  24. Wow, that was quick! You'd be surprised how little coaster fans know about these. How did they demonstrate The Loop-the-Loop to be safe? Anybody else want to take a crack at it? It's pretty interesting.
