  1. ^Yep, congratulations you are now a SFMM Fanboy.
  2. ^^ Yeah, that's the big "i". ^It was a great day, and you know that Jet Steam night-ride was awesome.
  3. ^I was also filiming, so when we were at Terminator in the morning/at night I was filming it instead of getting pictures. I got plenty of pictures on Media Day. I'll hopefully have my video uploaded to CoasterTube soon.
  4. Tatsu still closed? Really is boring without the train... Oh well What color do you see? Well that's all, I took a ton more pictures but just posted the ones worth posting.
  5. Here's my Trip Report from Termination Day at SFMM. It was a ton of fun and Terminator has to be one of the most re-ridable coasters evah, making for great ERT (especially at night). Unfortunately, there seemed to be a ton of break-downs that day. X2 broke down when I was a couple trains away, Ninja broke down when I was a couple trains away, Riddler's Revenge got stuck on the lift hill (but actually stuck) and had an evacuation, Batman broke down right as I got in line, and this probably doesn't count but Tatsu was having some problems (I think) in the morning. Btw, I begged to ride Percy's Railway. I've tried before and I tried again, and...nope. But I won't give up! My Ride-Count: Terminator x10 X2 x2 Log Jammer x1 Goliath x2 Gold Rusher x1 Batman The Ride x1 Canyon Blaster x1 () Jet Stream x2 Viper x1 Revolution x1 Superman THe Escape x1 Pictures: Viper, one of the very few rides that is smoother in the back. Shiny first drop. The good Batwing taken at slow speeds unlike Vortex. SFMM Fanboy question! What is the yellow building? Tatsu, skipped it for night-rides on Ninja, Superman, and Jet Stream (oh yeah ). Ahh, older B&M force turn... 0 flags, 0 fun. But that changed quickly because Thomas Town is around the corner! (heheh) Another SFMM fanboy question! Where was this picture taken? Hmm, will this be the next ride to have someone 'lose their hat...and then their head' on? Riddler's Revenge, skipped it for...frozen lemonade! How many inversions do you see? Deja Vu, skipped it for an early morning ride on X2!
  6. I agree with everyone that said to do Firehawk and Flight of Fear first on one of the days, then do Invertigo first on the other day. Make sure you eat at LaRosa's Pizza and if you like ice cream, Graeter's is good.
  7. There aren't any waterslides that have scared me so far, but I won't go on vertical towers (or whatever they're called) after my first (and only) experience on one. Drop Out, Raging Waters San Dimas. While going down, instead of laying down with your arms crosssed like you're supposed to, my first instinct was to sit up, like on a roller coaster. Then you get to the bottom, and my head got flung back and hit the slide...hard. It was my fault, but I'm not taking that chance again...
  8. Intamin, Millennium Force is my favorite coaster and I was very un-impressed with Diamondback. Other Intamin hypers look like they have more air-time than other B&Ms, they're higher rated, and they have more interesting layouts.
  9. About the posting your pictures to TPR instead of Photobucket thing, if you post your trip reports on several sites, can you post it to TPR first using TPR to upload them, and then copy and paste that and post it to other sites so you don't have to upload the pictures to TPR and Photobucket and do two trip reports? That was probably confusing. Basically, I post my trip reports on a lot of sites, so I want to know if I post them to TPR first using TPR's uploader, can I copy and paste that trip report and use it on other sites? Or would I have to then still upload the pictures to Photobucket, post the trip report on another site, and then copy and paste that to use on other sites?
  10. Wildcat is a fun little ride, not really worth the long wait that it gets but it is fun.
  11. Nice TR. Grizzly seems to always open late and then even later than it's supposed to. I've actually never really felt the roughness on it, even rode it twice the last time I was at CGA. Too bad Demon only ran one train, while CGA isn't the best park I've still found operations to be decent there with most coasters running 2 trains.
  12. That is true, but Six Flags doesn't seem to have a problem with it, seeing as they already have 4 in a couple years. Although it could be possible that SFMM wouldn't want one because of its bad capacity, since they turned down a Dark Knight coaster last year.
  13. Gold Rusher is a family coaster thrill-wise but the fact that it has a 48" height requirement means it can't be "fun for the whole family". I'm mainly thinking of a spinning coaster like Tony Hawk, which sounds most realistic. It's pretty cheap, it's compact, it has a 42" height requirement, the park just got a new show with a similiar theme, it's family friendly, and it's a type of coaster the park doesn't have.
  14. When I was on MF I also just saw halloween stuff on the island but I wouldn't be sad to see CCMR go at all. I think CP is good with family rides/family coasters right now and CCMR isn't too popular either. I'd love to see a flying coaster take its place right on the lake.
  15. ^A wiggles world would probably be nice for the park and sounds realistic for 2011+, but I think what they need to do first is add more family coasters and flat rides (gyro drop idea sounds great). Family rides/coasters can be more popular to a larger age group and are something everyone can enjoy, and that's something SFMM is lacking.
  16. I also like the idea of putting a flat ride there. That area of the park always seems so dead and plain, something new definitely should go over there and a flat ride is perfect. Even I skip going in that area most of the time when I visit SFMM, because it's kind of out of the way and I don't enjoy Scream and Colossus much.
  17. ^What would be the point of taking down a terrible ride just to replace it with the same thing that's still terrible? IMO, T2 needs to go, and a real invert needs to replace it.
  18. 1. Millennium Force 2. Maverick 3. X2 4. Voyage 5. Goliath (SFMM) 6. Phantom's Revenge 7. Xcelerator 8. Diamondback 9. Magnum XL-200 10. Top Thrill Dragster
  19. I actually find Roller Coaster to be kind of fun, and Canyon Blaster to be the rough one. Then of course you have Speed which is a great ride and kills the other two. Also if you want to count Desperado as a Las Vegas coaster, I'd say it's pretty fun but probably the roughest out of the 4.
  20. Very nice pictures, seems like it won't be long before there's a SFGAm-Bash.
  21. No, I would not say it is worth the visit. The only way I would recommend this park is if you really want 6 more credits. I think Six Flags would be better off selling SFKK (and SFA), and giving some of their rides to other Six Flags parks. When I visited SFKK for the first time a couple weeks ago, it was horrible. Every coaster except Roadrunner ran one train, and when the trains on the coasters finally would come in the station, the ride operators would just be talking to each other and were in no hurry to open gates/check restraints/send the trains out. IMO, it's just a bad park that is ruining Six Flags' reputation.
  22. Great pictures! This PTR really makes the park look very nice.
