  1. I don't really know how projecting Mike and Sulley onto SSE on a regular basis fits into the Epcot theme (which I suppose has become rather muddled in the last 15 years), but I'd love to see the ball integrated more into the next iteration of Illuminations, whenever that happens.
  2. For those rare days when the ride gets a line?
  3. Have we established that the ride won't have OTSRs?
  4. I'll jump on the SFGAm and SFStL bandwagons. The Boss, American Eagle, both Batmans, and Mr. Freeze are all just bizarrely long. Batman's queue at St. Louis really stood out to me with all the back and forth through "Gotham Park". Then there's the walk completely around the back of the station. The Boss is probably the worst in terms of distance, but Batman keeps you from feeling like you're getting anywhere.
  5. Wooden Warrior has timberliners He technically is correct in saying that HW was the first to announce them, just waiting on TGG to get them running. And don't forget Twister at Grona Lund!
  6. Where TPR uses the term "Fixed", larger forums like Reddit use "FTFY".
  7. ^Funny, I've done the same thing the last few years. With VF as my home park it's not financially sound to buy a Platinum Pass unless you are making at least 3 visits to other parks. And even then, I've opted not to get the PP just in case something comes up and I'm not able to visit another park. Better to spend $190 on a VF Gold Pass, 3 days of tickets, and parking, then $180 on the Platinum Pass.
  8. File this one under "things that have never been said before"...
  9. ^^Was that supposed to be a shot at me?
  10. I don't even think they have the best Cedar Fair entrance... Carowinds, Valleyfair, and maybe even Knotts' entrances are all more interesting looking.
  11. I'm conflicted about the new entrance. On one hand it looks a million times more modern and the keyhole is spectacular. But apart from that the whole thing is very bland. The ticket booths and the structure under the keyhole, while modern looking, are all very forgettable. Wish they would have built things up a little more below.
  12. ^Odds that this guy works in the PR department? Haha I kid, but great update. Saw some new things at a park I've never been to, so thanks!
  13. Does the new piece on the restraint happen to do with the OTSR that snapped last year? Maybe some extra support?
  14. I have to disagree and say I would much prefer Wild Thing to keep its current trains. They are some of the smoothest rolling stock around, and really only provide one whippy transition. They've held up really well and have kept the ride running great. I know most of B&M's coasters run pretty smooth, but there are some like Diamondback, that feel like they are running on Octagonal wheels. The "B&M Rattle" I believe they call it. I'd rather keep the current trains over risking a rough ride a few years after new trains were installed. But 'Dat Openess! Mmmm, that would be nice!
  15. Good News! Kudos to CP for putting Gatekeeper on Fast Lane!
  16. ^^^Eh, another couple wouldn't hurt ^^Have you been recently? ^They wouldn't even have to go that far. There are huge open plots of land in Area One.
  17. 1. Waterpark expansion 2. Another coaster with a 42" height minimum 3. A thrilling coaster with multiple inversions
  18. Maybe Harrison Hightower lost his fortune and has been forced to take his vacations on Carnival Ships?
  19. I don't know if they could legally make you stay on the ride, lol. It's a pretty laid back atmosphere. They should let you stand outside the exit gate if you need to take a couple laps off.
  20. Not sure what the big deal is? Looks pretty good to me.
