12/20. Hehe.

I am now done with the two books. I struggled reading Othello but thanks to Sparknotes. Shadow of the Wind (L'Ombre du Vent) was VERY good. I am not reading anything right now but the next on the list is The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz. My Grandma really wants me to read it. She says it's life changing.

I didn't do a search in all of the topics, so I don't know if it was discussed, but some people here in Montreal have heard that La Ronde might be getting a new coaster for 2010, and it will possibly be the Swamp Thing from Cypress Gardens in Orlando.

I went in May a couple of years ago and the water jets were on. And I got SOAKED. But it wasn't cold outside. I don't know how it is now, but I waited almost an hour for this. But totally worth it! Seriously. Nothing compared to La Tornade at La Ronde.

I didn't find Gwazi that rough. Not smooth at all but not the worst one. My votes go to Psyclone-Mean Streak-Kong.

I still have many many things to see in this world but the place I like the most is Vancouver. And thank God, even though I live and study in Montreal, we can afford to have an apartment there... so I say I have 2 houses. One in Montreal and one in Vancouver. Maybe I'll move there in 2-3 years. Life is full of surprises.

I am not a big fan of re-riding a coaster over and over again. Probably 3 consecutive rides on Boulder Dash-Magnum-Hulk-Kraken. 3 is my maximum. I get bored after that. Edit: When I was younger I remember I rode the Top Spin at my local theme park 13 times in a row. I would NEVER do that again.

Boys don't cry. Amazing movie. Everyone who didn't see it must see it. I wish more movies like this would be made. 9.5/10 I just rented Million Dollar Baby; Into the Wild; American Beauty. I have them for a week. I am expecting a lot from the 3 of them so I hope I won't be disappointed.

I just read an article from Le Journal de Montréal (link at the bottom, in French). It is mentionned that about 30 guests had to delete pictures that they had taken, and even some that were taken before their day at the park. When asked about the reasons, the spokeman for La Ronde said it was for security reasons that they did not allow anyone around the roller coaster, but that there was no policy about not having the right to take pictures at the park. Hulk 9. Kraken 10. Magnum Honorable Mention: Maverick Medusa (SFDK) Goliath (La Ronde) Montu What I need right now are GOOD wooden roller coasters.

In one of the schools here in Montreal, two students were diagnosed with Swine Flu, but the school won't close, which created a big controversy. Parents are not happy about this whole situation.
