  2. That's going to be amazingly nerve shaking, especially if SEFK launches and the towers swaying.... I say bring it on
  3. That was my first thought, however the two times I've been to the park its not been very crowded, and everything's basically been a one train wait. So im not too concerned over having to wait hours on end for this.
  4. Just another reason in the long list That I need to head out to Chicago next year!
  5. That was my first Yo-Yo as well, and man it was a bit freaky ramming into the person in front of you. Great update Steve!
  6. I'm not big on rankings, but in general the top 10 I enjoy riding are: 1) X2 2) El Toro 3) Boulder Dash 4) i305 5) bizzaro SFNE 6) Griffon 7) any B&M mega coaster as they're all just fun to me 8) thunderhead 9) Kumba 10) Medusa SFDK
  7. Turn it around - 4 strings
  8. Still dreaming about Italy and Europe, with new hotness coming in a close second. Time to win the lotto.
  9. Today was what should be called Windseeker Media day 2.0. As it seemed more geared to local websites and fans with not a news crew in sight. All around the park had a mellow morning set up for the small amount of people there with 2 hours of WindSeeker ride time, and for the 2nd hour Jaguar and Montezumas Revenge were added. The WindSeeker ride its self is a very fun, almost calm ride with a great view. But is not something I would label as a "thrill" ride. Unless of course you are scared of heights. Enough with the talk though and on to the pictures. Lets get ready to go WindSeeking! She was kind enough to show the proper Wind Seeking pose. The new view as you enter the park. You gotta have serious hair to be a Wind Seeker. Seriously, Knotts put out a nice spread! too bad there wasn't much shade and it was 90 degrees out. Then there were these guys, what ever omelette you want, they would make. Amazing! Now that foods done, lets Wind Seek! The line is nicely shaded while you wait for a seat assignment. The always important balance the fat clipboard. Freshly cleaned, shined and ready to comfortably cup your butt to 301 feet. First a few safety warnings though so lawyers are kept happy. And finally there's lift off. At this point you've past Silver Bullet Once you get to the top the motors kick in for a little extra speed. Sun rise, ride set, or something like that? Since this is Fiesta Village everything was themed this morning. We also were given the "Are you a Windskeer?" pins. You can't have a fiesta with out these guys! So there you have it, WindSeeker, shiny new and open, go ride it! A Big thank you to Knott's for a fun and relaxing morning! We'll be back to visit soon!
  10. 16/20 for US/Canada. Passing grade.
  11. Dear Boss, Please stop you're lack of caring about work and what we are trying to accomplish. Also the passive aggressive bs needs to stop, so please grow a pair at tell us specifically what you want done. If you could comply with these two things then work can most likely be fun again. Thanks, Shawn
  12. ^ How can we get more when no ones commented on how awesome his Canobie Lake update is? Which it was a fine update and a great park. I especially like the documentation of us getting into Canada though. Now that this updates got some love Caesar needs to share his take on the alcohol exchange and LA Ronde soon!
  13. Although I'm sure there's a way for them to put the drop tower on the side of Superman, that structure does tend to move a lot... It'd be very interesting to see how they would make it work. My guess is if they were to put in that rumored drop tower it would go else where... like where the always closed S&S launch rocket contraption thing (spaced on name right now) that needs to be removed is.
  14. Great Escape was a totally unexpected awesome little park and the Comet was actually quite awesome. We also need to talk about the randomness and only bit of theming that was on the log flume... the lumberjack and his big "tree trunk" strategically placed. Still cracks me up thinking about it. Also I just want to say that the overall theme of this trip seemed like it was unexpected awesome smaller parks that were tons of fun.
  15. Thanks for the opting to pick on my beach wear Ceasar, I'll wear an odder beach hat next time. Great TR again and looking forward to Canobie to be posted!
  16. Wow that video stream is bad... Thanks for suffering through and avoiding work to give us all the news Chris. Well the news and info was all less then thrilling and far from new... Way to go Disney. However the Haunted Mansion tour does excite me, and I can't wait to find out what the tour details are.
  17. Most awkward ride of my life... Please do a reenactment of this awkward ride!
  18. As long as it's not around may 15 th, I'm in!
  19. ^^ remember this is company that was basically bankrupt and has what im sure is a very large amount of debt from the build tons of coasters years. I'm not surprised they are shuffling less popular rides around and retrofitting old ones into new expieriences that are fully marketable while they continue to sort things out.
  20. If its not a looper or wing rider, or dive machine, or aqua trax, i'm betting this might still have some airtime hills but overall be a bit more twisty, like a jumbo Raging Bull. What ever it is the important thing for the future is b&m breaking the 300 ft mark.
  21. Personally I was happy with the speed of Astrosphere and as robb said they found the balance so it was just fast enough to have fun but still see and take in the whole show. However It would have been really great and put the whole thing over the top if they had sped the ride up a bit more for a crazy finale.
  22. In the mean time - dolly Parton
  23. Steel - kingda ka Wood - el toro
  24. Thanks to funtown a lot of us are learned we have an addiction to skee ball or are all big pacman fans, either way this park was a ton of fun!
