  1. Have to agree, the X2 crew was hauling last night. A full que which normally would easily exceed well over an hour and half took just around an hour. Huge kudos to them. The down fall was the Halloween audio wasn't working on the train we rode. And I sadly have to agree with the "scare zones". While the little talent was super energetic, it just didn't have the vibe that was last years whole event had. However with the park being absolutely mobbed with people, perhaps we'll see a continued effort put into making Fright Fest even better next year.
  2. ^ Riding their good woodie totally makes up for being beat do death by their bad wood though. That report really made me miss Lake Compounce... and Boulder Dash
  3. If that ever happens, I'm so there as a spectator! But will probably be made into a victim. Great update to a great event as well Robb! Thanks again to Knotts, TPR and Miceage for putting an extremely fun night together, and making my first ever haunt event so memorable.
  4. Only Knott's Scary Farm so far. But I will be checking out SFMM Fright Fest on Saturday, and then HHN Orlando and HOS at Busch Gardens Bash the following weekend!
  5. ^ Watching the train wreck of loading was part of the joy of that ride though. With out it, it was just an oversized painful Vekoma boomerang. Plus who didn't love seeing peoples frightened faces when they sat in an outside seat and realized there wasn't a friend to grab on to!
  6. http://www.facebook.com/sixflagsne/posts/10150321741893740 So the origional staggard 4 abreast seating doesn't count as 4 abreast? Have to say I'm really interested to see what changes are made with the train designs to improve capacity and the load/unload times.
  7. SFMM on Saturday. Still trying to decide if I'm excited or dreading it.
  8. That's the truth! I had always talked myself out of doing a haunt event being a big wuss. But after using some liquid courage and the help of some friends, conquered knotts scary farm this year and found the mazes were actually quite fun and more or less startled me more then scared the crap out of me. I'd suggest that you be in the middle of your group and then you'll be a little less of a target... Usually . But definitely try a maze!
  9. I'm very excited to check this park out and see how it compares to California"s, as it looks like they did a great job putting this property together.
  10. ^ that and the trek between the two parks isn't all that fun. Hopefully turkey day at the mountains not too bad this year as that's what friends and I are planning on doing too.
  11. ^ 2 out of the past 3 years I've spent Thanksgiving day at SFMM and both times where completely different crowd levels. 3 years ago the park was deserted, last year the park was mobbed like it was summer. I'd say hope for the best and plan for the worst if you plan on going for actual turkey day.
  12. VNV nation - Space & Time
  13. Great updates Kevin! Can't wait for the next instalment.
  14. Neils impression was priceless which makes me sad I missed the actual op doing it. I'd say the highlight of that park for me was the dragon coaster.
  15. ^ was that the op doing the tip toe strut walk?
  16. Disneyland DCA SFMM Knotts Sea World San deigo SFDK Dollywood SFGA Canada's Wonderland And everthything on the Europe and Italy trips Should be a good year
  17. Not attending the Halloween portion as I'm a wuss, but I'll be at knotts that Saturday to say hey.
  18. Totally awesome day and amazing park, minus a certain hungry coaster eating important objects... El Toro is seriously the best thing ever, and I have to 2nd what Elissa said about more Intiman Woodies not being made, every park should want a coaster that can be described as "better than sex".
  19. ^ you forgot " plus Europe"!
