I don't have a picture but a news chopper was hovering over SFOG and most of the Great American Scream Machine was under water. That was the only shot they showed. That area to the west of Atlanta was severely effected. I-20 remains closed in that part of town because it is under water. I love to the south of downtown and we only got rain but there is a lot of flooding to the north and west of downton. Here is a news report:

Awesome TR. I was in Amarillo until last week visiting my sister and would have loved to seen this while there. For a small town airport AMA has a lot of classics lying around as well.

Hey Scott, here it is finally. The 458 in the flesh. For my money (Which unfortunately is no where enough for a prancing horse) i prefer the front end of the 430. I just don't like the headlights on this one and it sort of ruins the whole front view. From the back it is pure poetry.

Talking about HS Alumni, Channing Crowder of the Dolphins and i went to HS together. He graduated an year before me. Since we were no football factory it was such a big deal when he signed to go play for the Gators.

The Mini Coupe Concept that leaked last week is indeed headed for production. Here is am image for those who missed it:

^^ The following is for you Scott. It's not as glorious as listening to a Ferrari engine soundtrack but Pininfarina explains the 458 a bit.

I was goofing around on Youtube and came across this gem of an ad. Since it features two of my favorite players of all time Greg Maddux and Tom Glavine, it's now at the top of my board. Check it out.

That's the same thing the opposing offenses say about the 'aints defense

I got Tiger Woods 09 for $10 on Ebay.

Here are details about Shaq Vs Micheal Phelps. It seems the Phelps will be featured in the season finale of the show. From the Atlanta Journal Constitution:
-
While the game itself was not must see TV, Shaq at the combine was awesome. Football to me is the easiest sport (It's all relative of course) for Shaq to compete in. I would love to see him especially in Tennis and Swimming. He might be able to dominate volleyball because he is so freakin' tall and nothing gets past him.

Forget him succeeding in life and getting a second chance, as a Falcons fan and nothing more i so want to see him fail miserably ON THE FIELD. I have never wished any opposing player to get hurt but i would love to see John Abraham put some hurt on him in week 13. The Falcons ownership and fans put so much into him and he lied to each and every one, including the guy writing him checks for $130 million. You can believe somebody who lied once or twice, this guy is a habitual liar and cheat. A leopard will never change his spots.

Wow that much love for District 9? I have not even considered going but after this much love for the movie, i got to go see it. I will be there tomorrow.

Most people seem to only remember the Dog Fighting, most people outside of Atlanta don't remember the Ron Mexico nonsense and getting grilled by cops in MIA about hidden compartments in water bottles, flipping off the hometown fans because he stinked up the field. On top of all that he isn't a good Quarterback. Most corporations don't hire convicted felons, i don't get why most people think him getting back into the NFL is his birth right or something. His and his criminal brother deserve nothing more than flipping burgers at McDonalds. I do have to say THANK YOU to the Eagles though, now when they talk about him hopefully the Falcons won't be mentioned and they will have some new footage to show. Good Riddance at last.

The Volt is not a pure electric, so it is already on the right path. It's a series hybrid and also has a regular engine so it has i think 300+ miles range.

^^ Joe are you retiring from being a grill master and angling for a job at Baseball Tonight. Unfortunately i think you maybe right with your spot on analysis. For the kind of starting pitching the braves are getting they should be competing for the division lead. It has to be the worst offense in baseball. Frank Wren rebuilt the starting pitching and he needs get to work on the offense this off-season. I still love seeing somebody calling the Marlins beloved . If you move down there, at least the attendance will double at the Loanshark Stadium.

Random Photo TR: The Ledge at Sears/Willis Tower
Hotlanta replied to coasterdude5's topic in Random, Random, Random
Not to sound ignorant but it's not the Sears Tower any more? Who exactly is this Willis? There are certain names that should never be changed in my opinion. Excellent report. This is one i would want to for sure the next time i am in the windy city. -
As you get up in age your skills should decline not increase so much. David Ortiz is my book at least is a serious offender. You don't go from a bench/platoon player to being a borderline HOF'er that late in your career. At least with guys like Bonds he was great before he bulked up like a balloon. Yet most at ESPN love to go after Bonds and not Ortiz because he is likable and they like to think the whole world loves the Sox.

Okay i am Braves fanatic but all i can do is shake my head and sink down in my seat when the chop gets going. It's at least good that during the regular season you will the most lethargic group of people at the Ted and nobody really gets in to it. Chief Noc-a-homa is better than the damn chop. Excellent TR Scott, i have been to the Ted so many times yet never went up to the sky field, a must do now on my next trip. -

That whole casino level also has regular seating right next to the suites. It looks kind of hidden because to get to the regular seats also you have to go through a suite kind of glass door. The second of level of seating all around the stadium is the casino level. The $6 seats in that level are from half way up the first base line to all the way to right field. The Braves are honoring Cox for his 2000 wins. So the promotion goes for the rest of the year. -

Another excellent TR scott. Was that the game during which they retired Maddux's number or is the next one? I am thinking the next game because number 31 is not even covered up in Left Field. BTW for the same six dollars you can get pretty decent seats in the Golden Something Casino Level. That is a pretty neat deal they have going on all season. Already been to a couple of games thanks to that. Now if i can only do a TR like you. EDIT: BTW University of Texas also now has a bigger screen than the Ted i think. -
For the same price you can get a Nissan GT-R which has approx. 480 hp, does 0-60 in 3.2 seconds, and can take the Ring incredibly fast. I'd like to see the Caddy even try to turn any direction, I doubt it will do that well. The Cadillac CTS-V holds the record at the Nurburgring for the fastest production sedan at the racetrack. With a company exec at the wheel (not even a pro racecar driver) it posted a laptime of 7:59. The GT-R is a great car but you can buy a CTS-V and tell the missus it's a family sedan.
