  1. Awesome update Robb! I've never been to an IKEA, but I think (judging by this one) it looks like a cool store. The comments were pretty funny and there seemed to be a lot of things to do there. I'd like to go to one now. Unfortunately, there wouldn't be all the funny translation crap like there is in Sweden.
  2. V WHOOPS! I accidentally posted in the wrong thread. Meant to post in the Happiness Pie Thread. Sorry. I'm going back to school on the 8th. I'm glad my school is going later than others (I've heard of schools already in session for about 2 weeks). And I've also heard of schools starting at 7:15 in my area. I'm lucky that I can wait 'till 8:40.
  3. ^DEFINITELY looks good, I'll consider..... Also, I stopped by the Amusement Park Drive-In. Very very very depressing, really not worth visiting unless you want to watch a movie. I couldn't get in, but I got some photos. It's on the outskirts of Laurel and is almost in the middle of nowhere. I wouldn't recommend it. Anyways, I'm in Post Falls now. I'll be going to Silverwood tomorrow and on Sunday. Look for a Photo TR soon!
  4. I really like the chairlift! Excellent job! ^I'm pretty sure the park has at least a few elements from those packs. Some of the fencing looks like it may come from them.
  5. Change of plan: We're still going to Rushmore! I'm typing this from Butte, Montana on my PSP. EDIT: Just got back from visiting Rushmore this evening. It is absolutely GORGEOUS at night!! You guys gotta check it out some time!
  6. ^He colors the sides of the rapids the same color as the water. If you color the sides aqua, it looks just like the water, and can help you hide the sides of the ride. One suggestion for the ride, color the lift and the parts not in water a different color. The drops for waterfalls are fine, but I think it'd be better if the lift sections and the drop from the lift were colored.
  7. I forgot, I've also been on the SFGAm Deja Vu. But it still lives on as Aftershock @ Silverwood, so I'm not completely sure I can count it as a 'defunct' credit.
  8. Even though I'm not going to Mount Rushmore like planned, I'm still going to be able to do Silverwood. I'm pretty exited since 1) My first TR for it was a flop, meaning I'll have a chance to do a new one, and 2) I didn't do too much when I was there. I'll be exited to do the drop tower and maybe get a few more credits on the coasters. EDIT: We ended up being able to go to Rushmore again! v Or a South Dakota Liscense Plate...
  9. Thank you all for your information and advice. However, I just learned that we won't be able to go to Mount Rushmore or the 'Amusement Park' Drive-In. Due to the Executive Officer on my dad's Navy Ship disapproving his leave chit, we won't be able to go. However, we will still be able to go to Silverwood on the 27th and 28th. So watch for my TR. Once again, thank you everyone for all the info you guys got for me.
  10. ^Sure, maybe a little bit cheap, but somehow, a little less cheap than other things he could've responded with.......
  11. Hey everybody! My family and I are going to begin heading toward Mount Rushmore on the 24th of August (this month). We were planning on stopping @ Silverwood and the Amusment Park Drive-In on the way to and from the mountain. However, I was wondering when the Monster Mouse is going to be opening. I know it isn't a big deal, but I'd just like to check the place out and possibly get a credit. If it isn't opening or at least partially up within the next 2 weeks, I won't go, unless you suggest I do go for the heck of it. Thank you, and along the trip I'll post updates when I can.
  12. That's actually an insult. It would be "never fail to amaze" or "never fail to impress" if you wanted to compliment. Once again I must say that the rapids ride is fantastically realistic. Keep up the good work; you "never fail to make fantastic rides."
  13. Than I'm not sure how they'd fit Jaguar trains on it.... They're smaller and much lower than horses.... The first ever kneel coaster?
  14. I haven't seen a new Premier ride for a while now.... Looks to be fun! Just another reason to visit Pennsylvania next time I visit my grandparents. EDIT: v My bad. Haven't really been searching up rides much.....
  15. ^^I agree, looks like the end of a slope. The track looks brighter red than Diamondbacks though....... By what I know, the ride will be red, but I think the trains may be white.
  16. ^I assume you sat in the front? Next time you go to SFMM, sit in the back. Less wait, a little smoother, decent airtime. There's actually a few rides @ SFMM I'd consider rougher, like Viper (on a bad day, it's normally smooth), Scream! (also on a bad day), and Deja Vu (almost any day of the week ). By the sound of it, just go to any park with a Dinn ride or Kings Island and you'll end your roughest coaster search.
  17. Just wondering, where do you guys think it'll start?
  18. My thoughts exactly, but I would've been kicked off the ride if I did so.
  19. I was (and still kinda am) a big fan of SF parks. I've been to about 5 parks that are Six Flags (4 if you get rid of Wild Waves; used to be owned by SF, now owned by PARC) currently, my favorite being SFMM. However: 1) As you may notice, I spelled 'Enthusiast' wrong and ended up paying the price with my title.... 2) I'm beginning to like Cedar Fair parks since I've been to 2 of the best (KBF and CP) 3) I'm beginning to like S&S Space Shot/Turbo Drop rides more. So my name, at this point, SHOULD be Power Tower Enthusiast.
  20. Mmmm.... B&M Hyper. Sounds good. I can't wait to see the layout.....
  21. ^Not bigger than me! I've been on the holy Grail of Screamin' Swings: Skyhawk. Jealous? Oh wait, I'm a Space Shot/Turbo Drop fanboy. Nevermind. Now that I think of it, I might as well say Silverwood is my best small park. Why? It's small, but it kicks serious a** over Wild Waves. With a smoother-than-average GIB, a coaster with centuries of airtime , the first coaser with inversions, a 140 drop tower, a soaking rapids ride, and a waterpark that's also way better than Wild Waves, you can see why.
  22. ^^They didn't have those on when it was Sun Wheel? Crap, I screwed up big time. And no need to show me the lights, I saw them in person. Sorry it's blurry, but it is truly amazing in person, no matter how far away you are from it!
  23. If I'm lucky (since I'm an S&S Fanboy), I can get Maliboomer from Disney for pennys on the dollar and set it up in my backyard! I'm honestly glad to hear that Disney is going to improve the park, but I think they could retheme the rides that are speculated to go. For instance, Mickey's Fun Wheel used to be the Sun Wheel. Sounds like a big theme change? All they did was repaint it black and red and put a big Mickey Head on it. Maliboomer? Since it'd be in the area of World of Color, why not replace the bells and retheme it to colorful fireworks? Easy. The Orange Stinger? Why not Disney faries flying over the well lit lagoon? Come on Disney, think harder!
  24. ^^Funny, (though my last ride on Ghostrider sucked) my very first ride on Ghostrider happend to be fine, like your most recent ride. For our most recent ride, I told my mom not to sit in the second row, but she did and ended up swearing to herself to never to go on it agian. It felt like driving down our semi-rough dirt road in a car with very thin tires...... scratch that, NO tires and really stiff suspension at 200 mph. I had to rest a little after it. And something I just have to get out of my mouth (you won't be surprised); I'd recommend sitting in the back seat of Xcelerator; it's more intense and you get airtime over the first hill. Something wonderful inbetween ejector and floater.
