  1. Depends on what tastes you like, really. Beer can cover such a wide variety of flavors
  2. Wes pretty much sums up my thoughts as well oh, and this too
  3. Why would a Colts fan be on a Patriots website?
  4. sorry, you've been a victim to a scam. You will now get loads and loads of porn and publisher's clearing house junk mail
  5. All I put up were my penguins, which will stay up a while since they can pass for "winter" decorations
  6. I'm surprised that I never replied to this, I love a night of stand-up! Of the more well-known guys, I really like Dimitri Martin, Lewis Black, and Katt Williams the most. On a similar note, I HIGHLY recommend playing the "tater salad drinking game" - where you watch Ron White and take a drink every time Ron does!
  7. BBC America is the channel I miss most from when I had Directv - I think the only channels I watched more were ESPN and Comedy Central. I wish we could get more European channels. We watched some Japanese tv one morning in Vegas last month, that was endlessly entertaining as well, that is my only Asian tv experience other than MXC
  8. It doesn't appear that he is looking for investors, or even to build it - I believe it is entirely a "concept", closer to art than reality. After reading more, I think the main purpose of this is to reduce car usage, which is admirable. But what is next? No more stadiums with 30-100k seats? Most football and baseball teams outdraw the local theme parks. The more economically viable solution (realistically, these towers could easily soar into the billion-dollar range), to me, is infrastructure improvements - public transport, coupled with $50+ parking
  9. I'd wager that English is not his first language, give him a break
  10. Yeah, I find the idea interesting, but unless land is THAT valuable and scarce, I don't see a need for it.. I'd also wonder if a sprawling amusement park may be better from a green space standpoint than yet another sky scraper (are you really telling me a Dollywood/SF Great Adventure/etc are worse environmentally than a skyscraper?), I don't know much about environmental engineering
  11. Taylor Swift... and Keri Hilson's lower half...
  12. I don't know, I'd rank the Colts' chances of reaching the Super Bowl 5th in the AFC. A buddy asked me who I thought would win this weekend, and I said Jets, Ravens, Packers, and Saints.. which brings the Ravens to Pittsburgh again
  13. Once upon a time, Drew Brees was 0-1 in the playoffs too. Hell, he had only won one playoff victory before last year.. don't hate. He's only played one playoff game, and lost it -- on the road, by less than a touchdown, to a team that went on to play in the Super Bowl I do, generally, think the NFC is pretty open, and anybody can win it this year (with the exception being the NFC West 'winner'). I won't even wager a bet, but I do really hope to see the Eagles and Falcons rematch in the championship game
  14. and the Caps lost to the Sabres, Devils, Leafs and Panthers.. its hockey, not college football, losses happen to even the best teams... oh, and they are currently 0-1 versus the Penguins this year, about to be 0-2...
  15. I think you owe a lot of really good woodies - Raven, Cornball, DB Hurricane, Viper, etc (and a bunch of others I haven't been on like Ravine Flyer) - an apology for wanting to take perfectly good rides and bastardize them
  16. Q-bot wins this one for me. NOTHING - no single ride, no new park, no new style of ride , or anything else can single-handedly improve a day at a park like the q-bot can. ^ I do like the rejuvenation of woodies that started in the mid-90s with CCI and GCI. It's nice that they have become hip again, and range from rides the whole family can enjoy (smaller GCIs) to entreme, over-the-trop forces monsters like the Intamins
  17. "green" grapes are actually called white grapes I won't order them, but I love pineapple, peaches, pears, grapes (preferably white), oranges and various random tropical fruits. I like a bunch of other fruit flavors, but not necessarily the raw fruit itself, like cherries and strawberries
  18. You know, I would have instantly said HRP.. but this is a good point. I still think the quick, enormous failure is a bigger blunder than a decade or slow decay, but still, that's the only thing that comes close. Other options mentioned, and why I disagree, include - Son of Beast -- you could build 20 SOB's for the cost of HRP - Astroworld as an individual failure -- it was a dump, so no one cares - various Intamin problems -- they are still make killer rides when they work - that park in Kansas -- it's Kansas, so no one cares - Geauga Lake -- killing that park wasn't a mistake - CD ride -- no one ever bought them, so no one cares - Schwarzkopf / Arrow -- dude died early in the decade, hadn't built a new coaster in years, and had battled bankruptcy long before the company sort of disappeared (is his son still selling parts?); Arrow sort of lives on in spirit the same way CCI sort of does - SFNO -- natural disasters < people being stupid, shouldn't qualify - Flying Turns -- this one is actually funny, and I'd put it higher up the list if it wasn't at a park that is awesome Hard rock park wins (or loses) this easily, in my opinion
  19. for whatever reason, I thought the Eagles played the Bears this weekend. doh where they will be sitting in the stands
  20. uh.. that awful team that beat the Eagles came into the game with the same 10-4 record..
  21. very cool, I don't think many people realize that brewing beer isn't exactly the easiest job in the world.. its dirty, long hours, etc.. but man is it so worth it! Thanks for sharing
  22. A few of the American micros distribute overseas.. take a look at this menu from a bar in Sweden (which also serves Flying Dog) http://www.akkurat.se/?p=showpage&s=usa&pt=beer I think I remember reading that Stone is actually looking to open a satellite brewery in Europe somewhere
  23. There is nothing that says Christmas spirit like the swap shop!! I didn't really get shit for Christmas.. some cash from one parent, a shitty sweatshirt from another... but, I bought a lot of stuff for myself in the past month, and nothing for anyone else, so it's all good!
  24. ^ I'm disappointed that Huracan didn't make your big list in the first post... our ride was a bit less than pleasant!
  25. I just visited the Kilwin's in Atlanta the other day... man, they have some AMAZING ice cream I think strawberry is still my favorite as a general rule, but like some of the specialty and adventurous flavors out there. I really like chocolate itself, but am not much of a fan of most chocolate ice cream
