Your Park "To Do List"
larrygator replied to DBru's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^^^Hey Wes, I don't think you are taking the thread seriously -
^Lou - I still think you would have looked fine in a black plastic garbage (rubbish) bag for a gown "walking the bus". I'm sure if I had thought of it sooner I could have collected enough Euro from others on the trip to buy an appropriate gown from the Chinese store at Port Aventura, but then you would have just left the beautiful gown in Germany, also.

^^Too bad SFGAdv has no plans to open on Easter (in mid-March this year) for Season Pass Holders as they have done in the past. -

SFGAdv Include a one-time exit pass coupon for El Toro in the Season Pass Coupon Book like they did in 2006. Knoebels Buy King Solomon's Mine. All Cedar Fair Consistency in Season Pass policies and admission. Hard Rock Park Invite Robb and Elissa to host a TPR event (as if R&E aren't already too busy). HersheyPark Offer chocolate dipping sauce for soft pretzels in your park? SFA Operate the WaterCoaster when I'm at the park (for once). Rye Playland Keep the Old Mill, don't shut it down anytime soon. All parks Offer decent food, even if it is a little more money. I gladly pay about $5-$7 more per meal to eat good food at Busch Gardens. Even at Cedar Point I can easily go to the Marina and fill up at Famous Dave's. -
There is quite a difference between having a sense of humor versus acting like a sexual predator or just plain creepy.

You need a sense of humor to use this site, that is why.

Lou - a couple of things I also enjoyed the food at Isla Magica (that was the park with all the families of adopted Chinese babies, right). I remember the dinner rolls being very tasty and borrowing others leftovers. You can enjoy Desperado in another language at Bobbejaanland I completely forgot about wolfing down that second piece of scrumptious cake in 10 seconds You forgot to mention Templo del Fuego at Port Aventura.

Not if you go there first, before other patrons get there to use the cannons and plungers. -

To continue with the disparate systems at CF, my 2007 MAXX Pass issued through Dorney Park does not have a expiration date. -
Hersheypark Trip tips?
larrygator replied to Across_the_Universe's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Not including Fahreinheit, the 3 coasters I find to have the worst capacity are Roller Soaker, Wild Mouse and Great Bear. If you want to ride "every coaster" you'll have to get Roller Soaker out of the way early (if it is even open that early in the season). Also, riding Roller Soaker first allows you to ride it before people line-up to get the riders wet with water cannons and plungers. The coasters whose lines tend to be shortest and move quickly are Lightning Racer and SDL, so you don't need to rush to ride either. -

If a person you barely knew on a plane pulled out a box cutter or tries to light his shoe would you let someone in authority know? If you saw someone in a mall with a gun inside his trench coat would you let someone know? If you were walking across the street and a hit and run driver hit someone and you were the only witness and you saw the license plate number would you stick around and report it? Now imagine these same scenarios if you were mall security, a flight attendant or a cop. OK, in the first set a of scenarios you are a private citizen but in the second set you are on the job. To me you have a moral obligation in the first set and a duty in the second. Your analogy is as foolish as your point of view. Explain how someone following a set of rules in one's job is inappropriate. What do you do for a living? How about everyone stop getting on the teacher case as the teacher probably only report it to the principal who probably had someone actually call the cops. -
Cedar Fair's Stock at a 5 year low

^CF buying GL is the first place was wrong. If CF is not generating revenue from attendance at GL, the revenue from selling the land will be greater than an operating loss. Selling the land now is not as beneficial as selling it during a real estate boom but the bean counters at CF must have decided than a lower sale price now is not as bad a taxes and losses until the real estate markets turns around. -

The Southport and Blackpool Wild Mice, were by far my favorites woodies in the UK. -
How are you defining worst franchise? You do realize that pretty much every pre-teen girl in the country loves High School Musical and buys pretty much anything associated with the movie. If you don't enjoy the movie, that's fine since you are not in the target audience. However, movie studios equate success with profits and HSM certainly rakes in the bucks. For the record, I have never seen HSM nor do I plan but my 10 year old neice loves it and my best friend's daughters watch it repeatedly. Therefore, I have purchased HSM merchandise for them.
