  1. Galaxyland = 9 acres Nick Universe = 7 acres Adventuredome = 5 acres
  2. ^^I find it interesting that Sayid is one of the Oceanic 6 and working as a hitman for Ben after they get off the island. Kate decided to stay with Sawyer in Locke's camp. Sayid and Desmond are on the way to the boat. I liked the movement of the episode.
  3. The timeshare people at SFGAdv did catch me off guard, as I just can't imagine patrons of the park wanting to stop and talk. As Herc says as long as there are not high pressure tactics and they don't block the walkways, I have no problem. As others have said Disney was built on sponsorships that were blantantly in your face advertising/promotions, including the worst attraction of all time "If You Had Wings" As far as messing with the theming. Don't believe the hype, it doesn't distract much from the theming of an area.
  4. I believe 2043 is the year that roller coasters are targeted to be built on the moon. So the Alveys will be able to answer that lingering question.
  5. Personally I don't like the "red neck carnival" set-up of Beech Bend, but Rumbler does kick quite a bit of butt. If you went more variety in your day Kings Island will provide it, but Rumbler is far superior to anything at Kings Island. However, outisde of SCAT 2, nothing else at Beech Bend held my interest.
  6. Erik - thanks for hanging with me at Animal Kingdom, allowing me to prove it is an all day park. For the record - the pizza at Animal Kingdom is the worst pizza that has ever crossed my lips and touched my tongue.
  7. All I have to say is thank you for not including a picture of yourself.

  9. My season doesn't start until Final 4 weekend in San Antonio with Sea World and SFFT. Knoebels for opening weekend. Other definites are the Mainland Europe Trip, Castle and Coasters while in Phoenix for a softball tourney and the major parks in Florida during October. Outside of SFGAdv I don't have any definite plans but I going to try to hit up every major park getting a new (non-kiddie) coaster within 500 miles. (Hershey, Kings Dominion, Waldameer, Canada's Wonderland, SFNE) If my new work assignment sends me to Kansas City often (which it should) I plan to take some long weekends there and hit up all the parks within 300 miles of KC (WoF, Arnold's, Adventureland, Branson paarks, SFStL and a possible trip to Minneapolis for VF and MoA). Yup, that should keep me busy all summer. I'll pass 600 credits sometime in Europe.
  10. I should have known that one as I was researching "Rick's Delight" last week.
  11. I don't know. If my real mother appeared out of nowhere and told me that I was stolen from her as a baby by a man who then pretended to be my father. Then I'd be a little pissed at him esepcially nowhere this my mother was searching for me that whole time. Alex also never seemed to have a great relationship with Ben, so for those reasons I just don't get it.
  12. In a previous season didn't Ben (or someone another of the others) say that the losties wouldn't be found because no one was looking for them anymore because the plane crash site had been found? - Can someone verify this happened and I am not imagining it. ^John - I thought the same thing about that picture of Ben. Although I don't think Ben has left the island since being brought there. Maybe the picture was taken on the sub. Also, I'm still confused about Alex. Didn't Rousseau tell her yet that she is her mother and Ben is not the father I also can't find the connection between the 4 people traveling with Naomi. However something bad must happen to the people on the "rescue" ship in the future if Naomi's boss wants information from Hurley who is still on the island. The people on the "rescue" ship now have the coordinates of the island so they should be able to get back there if still capable. Lastly, where are Richard and the remaining others hiding out nowadays.
  13. ^I think all CF parks are selling the platinum for $150 for consistency. Now if the parks are still being held to their own P&Ls and a CF Platinum Pass is used at another park I wonder if that second park will be compensated in some manner monetarily by the park that sold the Platinum Pass. I also think the majority of the Platinum Passes will go to people within 150 miles of Ohio.
  14. I'll be more interested in seeing the numbers 12 months from now. I think CF is now using the proper season pass pricing strategy. You want to go just to your home park - lower season pass price versus last year. You want your pass to work at multiple parks - you pay a higher price versus last year. Incent people to visit other parks in the chain by including parking in the price of the Platinum pass. To me this just makes logical sense, but who knows, it could be a disaster.
  15. A quick Google search for Nautic Jet turned up the following parks that had the Nautic Jet boat jump. I don't know if all these parks still have them. Joboland - Denmark Sonnenland - Germany Tier-und-Freizeitpark Thule - Germany Freizeitzentrum Zahmer Kaiser - Austria ShiederSee Freizeitzentrum - Germany Schlossbeck - Germany anyone know of any more?
  16. ^That was the only boat jump on the 2007 Trip, but I know there are more in Europe (I just don't know where).
  17. I'm only going to be disappointed if the conference call I'm on at work goes past 7:30 PM and I miss miss epsiode tonight.
  18. OK, we just know that the last 5 seconds of tonight's epsiode will be that Asian looking guy about to reveal to Jack why he is on the island. My only grips is the frequency that the trailers serve as a teaser for the show two weeks down the road.
  19. He'll be lucky if he makes it out of Nebraska
  20. Cedar Fair's computer systems are outdated and always cause all types of problems, this could be just another problem. This is the first year they are selling the a season pass that includes all CF properties for the same price at every park. However, the good news is that the Platinum Pass is not expected to rise in price and includes free parking at all Cedar Fair Parks.
  21. ^I thought the dog was there as a sheperd, just to keep the goats in line. I did not realize he performed also. Maybe I do have to go back to Klotten someday!
  22. Great video as usual. While I loved the park, I don't think I would choose to go back to Klotten versus other parks in the area. The coaster provided insane airtime but all the other rides in the park were one-timers to me. I did get 2 refreshing wheat beers with my curry wurst which was a bonus. Did anyone watch the whole trained goat show?
  23. My guess is that you were not clear when you asked for advice on doing two parks in one day. Did you express that your desire was not just to ride coasters?
  24. Zook can recruit, too bad he can't coach.
