  1. As you have never been to Hersheypark the answer is NO. It sounds like the purpose of your trip is to visit as many of the larger East Coast Parks as possible in a relaxed manner. Dutch Wonderland is a side trip that should only be exercised by credit whores. And take cfc's suggestion Pierce's Pitt is the real deal in Williamsburg. Great food and reasonably priced.
  2. YES, some of us are saying YES. You might not be saying it, but I am.
  3. Thanks for a well written review of opening day, something we don't see much around here nowadays. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but a thousand well written words provide a lot more vital information.
  4. Hershey www.hersheypark.com/tickets/coupon_partners.php
  5. ^I think we are safe on that front Dave. ABC is in the process of selling advertising for the October 2009 -September 2010 time frame. For those looking for Jeopardy knowledge this is called the "Upfront Season." ABC is telling Advertisers and Ad Agencies that LOST will be back in the first quarter (January-March). I would not expect this to change because ABC needs to instill faith with the advertising community in these economic times.
  6. I think only the people touched by Jacob will be moved to 2007. This means Kate, Jack, Sayid, Sawyer, Hurley and Jin. Not Miles, Rose, Bernard or Vincent. They are the people that Jacob said were coming. Also my theory on the "loophole" is that only a deposed leader of the island can kill Jacob. Hence why Widmore had to leave the island and I'm pretty sure Widmore told Ben on the phone (before Ben tried to kill Penny) that Ben could not return to the island. I'm still confused who, if anybody, was in the cabin whenever Ben thought he was visiting Jacob. Was it Jacob being held captive by the other guy, or the other guy being held captive by Jacob. I also am convinced that this other guy can manifest himself into any dead person (which he has done many times on the island). He can also become the smoke monster.
  7. Hanno - you know the first thing I did was look for the Zodiac photos thanks
  8. ^Yes, people are turned away. Weight is not the determining factor, it is all about how one's weight is distributed and body type. I've known people over 250 pounds that could ride MF and others closer to your friend's weight that were turned away.
  9. hobbit - thank you I added your pictures of Falcon to TPR's Park index
  10. What has the Cedar Point done to make sure that the sign does not sink with the rest of the park? As if it needs saying, I really need a picture of the new sign submitted into TPR's Park Index.
  11. ^Just Curious. Why do you think someone would want to ride Comet twice when there are so many other coasters worthy of repeat or night rides?
  12. ^I prefer the Freeman's BBQ, they have Sweet tea and great sides, also
  13. Awesome episode. Fights, Guns, Explosions just needed some fire. Fight between Jack and Sawyer was great. Finally a revelation about Jacob. Miles has the best delivery when he delivers his lines. Time to speculate for the next 8 months.
  14. I was going to point that out. The cabins normally sleep 6, but even the CP website states you could easily fit two more if you bring your own bedding.
  15. OK, I think they are funny. BTW- That does not mean that they are funny.
  16. Paul - I agree, much easier on the wallet splitting the bill 4 ways. A few of the rooms in the old part of Breakers even sleep 6 with a pullout bed, my family got those a few times. I really miss the fact that Cedar Fair shareholders no longer "Stay one night get one night free" coupons for Cedar Point properties.
  17. ^Yes, HersheyPark does have the most awesome kettle corn. But it is not a well balanced meal.
  18. I would love to see this, as it would certainly result in Dave falling down at some point.
  19. The best food (outside of the chocolate) is Freeman's BBQ! That is as long as you like BBQ.
  20. Hans - thanks, been added to the Park Index Scott - Come on! I do have a real job that takes precedence betwenn 9-5
  21. ^Shhhh! I work in advertising. Everything you saw advertised is a necessity. Never forget that vital information.
  22. A co-worker is hosting a party tomorrow that I will be attending. Everyone needs to bring a LOST snack/entree/drink tied in to a character. I'm bringing dessert, "Ices" in recognition of the polar bears. We are also contemplating have each person pick a name and the whole evening they have to act and speak in the persona of the character they pick.
  23. Last time I went to Hershey, I used hotwire.com and found a nice 3 star in Harrisburg for about $60-$70 a night. I swear by Hotwire - their hotel ratings are very accurate and prices are fair.
  24. Yes, it is completely horrible that Disney is providing entertainment for their guests! Are you serious? Wake up buddy and think before you write.
