It worked for me after the first glitch was fixed, my latest problems only started two days ago.

I did not realize studying Chinese in China grants one access to all Chinese amusement park knowledge. I thought it was still difficult to get accurate information on many projects.

I have not heard of the confirmed Media Day. Media Day is usually only open to members of the media that the park invites. That's why they call it media day. If it becomes open to enthusiasts groups, Robb will notify ClubTPR members. As a point of reference, the most recent Media Day events at SFGAdv (Green Lantern, SkyScreamer, Safari Off Road Adventure) were only for invited media.

I have having trouble visiting anyone but Ollie, wonder if it has to do with my current level being so high. Yes, as I said I devoted way too many hours to this game two weeks ago. Sometimes when I try to visit friends it just kicks me out of the game. Sometimes it kicks me out when I try to go from one friend's town to another friend's town. Sometimes it kicks me out when I try to return to my town. In all three cases I don't get any coins or clams that I acquired.

Great old Coney Island video
larrygator replied to GayCoasterGuy's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
They also had "shock sticks", so much fun that would never fly today. -
I stopped by Coney Island today on the way home, to see the progress of Thunderbolt. I think the park reads TPR and heeded the suggestion to put some track on the lift hill. I applaud this decision. OMG! What are they doing? Yes, they added track to the lift hill. I hope they do the same on the other side to create a drop. Please listen to me Luna Park, please. It's hard to see but track from the brake run to the lift hill is in place. One last shot from Surf Avenue looking towards the ocean.

I certainly did not get ripped off, I paid less than everybody else and it still works. I use it at school all the time. I found out 6 months ago that you can unscrew the kaleidoscope dome and it works like a true laser pointer. -
I don't see how he losses now with that secret idol, unless the idols expire prior to the Final Four and the other three that are left wise up in that final vote (unlikely unless it is Kass, Tasha and Spencer). And Tony will knock them out soon enough. Unless Spencer pulls off an ultimate strategic move (but Tony will get rid of him first). What they never mention on the show is that the longer the last on the show the more money you make, so while the 2nd and 3rd place finishers don't make a million, some are content with whatever the prize money is.

Cyclops is fine*. This is your reaction to a wild roller coaster having grown up with super tight seat belts, lap bars and B&M. No offense, just sayin. *Not to confuse that with the fact the park is poorly run and maintained. You have a seatbelt and lapbar on Cyclops. Both will not going to fail at the same time. But are you 100% confident that the upstop wheels will not fail/break causing a derailment? Or that the braking mechanism will not malfunction?

Ludicrous park food prices
larrygator replied to GigaG's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
If a park doesn't have good food I'll just eat in moderation at the park and then eat a bigger meal on the way home. If you are an enthusiast without kids in tow there are a lot bigger problems than the price of food at most parks. Quite frankly at most parks I kind find some type of meal for that holds me over or is not ridiculously priced. Turkey legs tend to be a good option at Six Flags, there's a lot off eating in one turkey leg. I just don't like wasting time leaving the park to get fast food. I'd rather just go as long as possible with a little food and worry about eating after I leave. Does Knotts still have the soup in a sourdough bowl? Granted I have not been there in a few years, but eating a bowl made out of sourdough bread is filling. Of course I'd love to see faster service at the quick food stands. -

Divv - If it makes you feel better I'll read your PTR. Glad you picked up a new Doritos flavor. What's your Doritos count up to nowadays? -
I saw that you were also doing this to a lesser degree Hey, Those are standard office building not slums. I only built standard ones since they appeared to have the best return on investment. I guess I lucked out having never played Simpsons Tapped Out. I also had the idea to spend the majority of two days have Peter, Chris, Bonnie, Bruce, Mort, and Quagmire doing only 1 minute task repeatedly which netted me well over 1,000 coins per hour just from those characters.

No airtime is when your butt actually leaves the seat. Being forced into a restraint without your butt leaving the seat is not airtime. Airtime = time in the air. If you don't leave the seat there is not airtime. I completely disagree with this. By your definition Skyrush has no airtime (If you think this, you're very mistaken...). Your definition of "airtime" is arbitrary and merely depends of tightness of the restraint and can vary person to person, even on the same cycle. I certainly feel my body leaving the seat on SkyRush as I get lifted into the restraint . Arbitrary is not the proper word choice. My definition is far from random. It might be a personal definition, but it far from arbitrary. I believe I adequately described how I defined airtime. I am not denying the existing of g-forces on some rides only saying that if I'm not lifted in the air I don't consider it airtime. That's a needlessly ananacronistic way to define airtime... I believe the word you are searching for is anachronistic. And, yes I certainly feel that if you have two identical rides and one has tight restraints and the other has minimal restraints the latter will provide more airtime.

I keep sending Peter on other stupidly long tasks instead of taking care of the damn pirates

Here is the latest article on the American Dream Complex. I have summarized the key findings in the article. 1 - The developer has reached an agreement with the unions to restart the project 2 - The lawsuit between the Jets/Giants football teams was settles out of court and the complex will be allowed to operate on days when those NFL Teams play at home. 3 - The complex is expected to open in fall of 2016 with the waterpark and a Hollywood themed amusement park. At least it sounds like the parks will open at the same time. http://abclocal.go.com/wabc/story?section=news/local/new_jersey&id=9519368 American Dream megamall project renewed in New Jersey April 28, 2014 06:06 PM EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- The developer of a megamall at the Meadowlands sports complex signed a union agreement Monday to jumpstart work on the long-delayed project, then addressed the question on the minds of anyone who has driven past the pastel-hued monstrosity: Will something be done about the exterior Gov. Chris Christie said made the complex "the ugliest damn building in New Jersey and maybe America"? The governor "was far from alone," said Paul Ghermezian, senior vice president for mall developer Triple Five. "It's no secret the facade is ugly," Ghermezian said to chuckles from the audience made up mostly of union workers. "We got your tweets, we got your emails, some people managed to get my cell number and texted me directly." Triple Five, which counts among its properties the Mall of America in Minnesota, recently gained approval from the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority for a revamped exterior that replaces the odd mishmash of colored panels with a cleaner design that emphasizes an outdoor look, Ghermezian said. In some areas the complex will feature 80-foot-high glass exteriors. The $2 billion project featuring a waterpark, Hollywood-themed amusement park, retail and dining is scheduled to be completed in the fall of 2016 and is projected to create 9,000 to 10,000 construction jobs, according to Rick Sabato, head of the Bergen County Building and Construction Trades Council. "I'm glad we have been able to work through what has been a really long, arduous and at time maddening process to get to this day," Christie said. "But it's all about the result, and the result is going to be good for the working men and women of New Jersey." Jettisoning the quirky exterior will symbolize a new phase for a project that was approved more than 10 years ago but fell prey to the economic downturn and problems with various developers. Originally known as Xanadu, it was scheduled to open in 2007 but languished for years, partially built, until Triple Five took it over at the end of 2010. From there it hit more roadblocks. The New York Jets and New York Giants, owners of adjacent MetLife Stadium, sued the developer in 2012, claiming Triple Five didn't get their permission - as required under an earlier agreement - to expand the footprint for the mall from its original design. They also sought to have the mall closed on game days to avoid traffic backups. Triple Five countersued, accusing the teams of engaging in an illegal campaign to stop the project from being completed. The parties announced a settlement last month but didn't provide specific details. Tony Armlin, Triple Five's vice president for development and construction, said Monday the complex definitely will be on open on game days thanks to a new traffic-management and parking plan. No representatives of the teams were introduced or mentioned at the news conference, and a spokeswoman for the teams didn't immediately return a message seeking comment.

New ride coming to Frontier City

Mickey - I agree that every ride deserves a sign. thanks I'll add them to the Park Index -
Or don't do that and the fatties can hit the treadmill once in a while. Saying things like that and things stated above is EXTREMLEY rude. I've never seen someone have so much disrespect for someone. Like Devilsflight said, for some people obesity isn't really a choice. I don't care if your anorexic, don't talk about people and call them names such as "Fatties." Leave the moderating to the moderators. You need a sense of humor to read TPR and referring to POS as "Fatties is not out of line.
