That is my issue though. It's Ed Hart saying it. You would think if it was such a money maker pre-Six Flags that several people would have wanted to get the park when it closed, but it seems the only interested parties were Ed and the Koch family, and they backed out. A lot of investors were put off by the demand/restrictions of the Kentucky Fairgrounds Board.

TTD is a much more enjoyable ride than KK. Smoother and better restraints but it should not be that much higher than KK. iSpeed dropped a few spots while losing quite a few match-ups by only a vote. I'm a huge fan of iSpeed and unfortunately couldn't find the time to vote this year. I'll apologize to iSpeed in person next time I'm at the park.

The bird incident was interesting for about one minute, the next 2 hours that people kept talking about it was annoying.

I don't think you spoke with me. I didn't talk to anyone with a nametag Ryan and luckily I've never been hit by a phone, but I have been hit been coins in the past. The two people I reported were both actively taking pictures and or filming. They were even talking about it as the train came back into the station and viewing the photos/videos from the exit ramp to the photo booth.

Hey Larry, I'm a ride op at El Toro this season. Sorry about that. Better safe than sorry, right? Most of our crew this year is brand new so we're all getting into the groove of things. Give us some time and we'll be golden. I realize the crew will get better over time, traditionally the El Toro crew is top notch. I've just never seen it so bad opening weekend before. Granted I was only at El Toro for 90 minutes this morning. I completely understand the better safe than sorry issue. My bigger issue, the attendant at the ride entrance was not stopping people with bags and all these people complained and held up trains once they got to the station. On my last ride, the guy in front of me rode El Toro with his Six Flags refillable bottle filled with Coke. Well not the whole ride since he spilled half of it on his pants. You figure the ride op would see the bottle in his hand when he was checking restraints. Lastly, a lot more idiots taking their phones out during the ride this year, someone will lose an eye if they get hit. After two rides, I told one ride op about two different people doing it and he didn't respond.

The park has NOT been in financial trouble since the restructuring. Once the restructuring happened, the monstrous debt was relieved. Debt will not return unless Six Flags starts over leverages themselves again with huge expenditures.
