  1. I'm confident the Laff in the Dark will be operating next summer. Last photo I was sent
  2. Thanks, I love hearing about the history of parks and events
  3. That's everyone, I added everything major that I was missing to the first page of this thread.
  4. Step 1: List the Top 10 US parks you want to visit. Step 2: Determine if any two of those parks are within 250 miles of each other. Step 3: Visit those two parks and anything else nearby.
  5. I still don't have a problem with the B&M stand-ups.
  6. ^That's right, it was Paramount, they were originally Nickolodeon themed at Carowinds
  7. Yes, you do need to get there. The coaster is great.
  8. Cedar Fair should have never sent them to Carowinds
  9. You don't need to say more, but you should try to get to Sweden to experience how the ride was meant to run.
  10. Nice to see that you understand. Consider this your last warning!
  11. Official discussion threads grow organically when we merge existing news threads from one park together. Quite frankly there has not been much news out of Wild Waves over the past 10 years and what little news has been posted has rarely been discussed. When there is something worthwhile happening at the park a Discussion Thread we be created thereafter.
  12. This is one ride where I've always been curious about the schematic/logistics of the ride.
  13. I completely understand and respect the need for secrecy. Maybe my interest will be peaked when we have some details.
  14. Robb, can you tape some of Strike-U-Up at IAAPA and release it on YouTube? Seems interesting. Am I missing something? What is so interesting? What has been released besides the name?
  15. I just don't see it happening at a Busch, SF or CF park. My suggestions are Silverwood, Lake Compounce to one of the CNL parks when it goes to a new owner.
  16. I'm just not a Disney person (unless it is in Tokyo). I'm not a huge Cedar Point fan, but I prefer their coasters to WDW offerings.
  17. None of the parks were that good before CNL took the reigns.
  18. Personally, I didn't think the vest restraints made that much of a difference on Morey's SLC
  19. I thought the park announced that the trains would not rise through the tower, meaning it will only be used for a drop (and possible theatrics)
  20. Santa's Village and StoryLand are both very nice family parks.
  21. It appears to be an anagram for "House of Nightmares"
  22. I've been on 9-10 so far and I enjoyed every mountain coaster, the only problem is if you have someone going real slow in front of you. Attached is link to the current installations that I know of in North America (I'm in the process of updating the cost per ride today). Last I checked there were well over 100 Mountain coasters throughout the world. List of North American Mountain Coasters
