  1. ^ Maybe it wasn't just the full train then. Sounds like Ravine Flyer II is running particularly well this year.
  2. Nitro in the front row during HITP is marvelous. And it's great any other time of year too. If you want your ejector air, walk across the park to El Toro.
  3. I love seeing some of the shots of Voyage beyond the lift and final section since they're so rare.
  4. ^ I saw the ride's cycle went up and down at least twice. I never made it back there today, but the ride looked good for the skyline. Also I never realized this park had a Fascination parlor so that was an exciting find today.
  5. Predator. I remembered that ride being awful, but I got an amazing ride on it. The ride was pretty smooth and had airtime on almost every hill.
  6. I popped in for a few hours on the way home from Niagara. I found it interesting the membership skip-the-line passes were valid for the membership holder plus up to 3 guests.
  7. Sounds like it's at its usual putrid capacity. But at least it was open!
  8. It got windy towards the end of the night, but we had a great time. Ravine Flyer II was running so much faster than it was for my 2017 visit (probably because there was a full train this time).
  9. ^ How many cars was Alpine Bobsled running? Is it still only running like 2-3? Canyon Blaster has never been good. It's impressive a ride that slow can be that jerky.
  10. Yukon Striker. It's probably my favorite dive coaster now.
  11. Same! I love the Wood Coaster ones in particular but they're all great.
  12. ^ Especially since this one has the luxury of land. Based on their history, I'm thinking they'll get a wooden coaster but they could make it more of a spread out layout if they chose.
  13. The only ride where I was assigned a seat yesterday and couldn't have a request taken was Valravn. I had no issues with anything else.
  14. Steel Vengeance was double stacking in the afternoon, but the crew now is hauling!
  15. I have no doubt the park will stay open and I'm thinking of going as well. I've been on a day when it rained hard all day and they stayed open almost all day despite the fact I'm pretty sure they were losing money.
  16. Those are some funky looking vehicles flaring outwards.
  17. It looks like winds will die as the day progresses. Cedar Point is the type of park that will open a ride for the first time all day an hour before close if the conditions allow it.
  18. Comet is smoother than both the GCIs if you ask me. That's honestly my favorite woodie at the park. Lightning Racer is quite smooth and I find Wildcat bumpy, but comfortable thanks to the cushioned seats.
  19. ^^ Starting in mid-July they stay open until 10 pm so it does look like they compensate for crowds. I went on a cool April weekday and the park was still busy. I recommend the Unlimited Rapidus pass if you want to get a ton of rerides on the coasters. With that pass, the park can easily be done in a day.
  20. Out of curiosity I popped onto the Buffalo Bills website. Good news- All but one ride is open. Bad news- That one closed ride is Desperado.
  21. Wow. Kings Island fans been clamoring all these years for a giga and then complain when they get one. Even if the layout looks shorter than other gigas (if those prints are true), this thing should maintain some serious speed into the brake run.
