Nitro in the front row during HITP is marvelous. And it's great any other time of year too. If you want your ejector air, walk across the park to El Toro.
^ I saw the ride's cycle went up and down at least twice. I never made it back there today, but the ride looked good for the skyline.
Also I never realized this park had a Fascination parlor so that was an exciting find today.
I popped in for a few hours on the way home from Niagara. I found it interesting the membership skip-the-line passes were valid for the membership holder plus up to 3 guests.
It got windy towards the end of the night, but we had a great time. Ravine Flyer II was running so much faster than it was for my 2017 visit (probably because there was a full train this time).
^ How many cars was Alpine Bobsled running? Is it still only running like 2-3?
Canyon Blaster has never been good. It's impressive a ride that slow can be that jerky.
^ Especially since this one has the luxury of land. Based on their history, I'm thinking they'll get a wooden coaster but they could make it more of a spread out layout if they chose.
I have no doubt the park will stay open and I'm thinking of going as well. I've been on a day when it rained hard all day and they stayed open almost all day despite the fact I'm pretty sure they were losing money.
It looks like winds will die as the day progresses. Cedar Point is the type of park that will open a ride for the first time all day an hour before close if the conditions allow it.
Comet is smoother than both the GCIs if you ask me. That's honestly my favorite woodie at the park.
Lightning Racer is quite smooth and I find Wildcat bumpy, but comfortable thanks to the cushioned seats.
^^ Starting in mid-July they stay open until 10 pm so it does look like they compensate for crowds. I went on a cool April weekday and the park was still busy. I recommend the Unlimited Rapidus pass if you want to get a ton of rerides on the coasters. With that pass, the park can easily be done in a day.
Wow. Kings Island fans been clamoring all these years for a giga and then complain when they get one.
Even if the layout looks shorter than other gigas (if those prints are true), this thing should maintain some serious speed into the brake run.
