  1. Thanks! I didn't know much about Nigloland going in and I wanted to showcase how great the park is for those planning a teip to France in the future.
  2. I guess I'll add Bailey Auto Sleds. They were a weird coaster type where you rode in a sled almost like a mountain coaster (except the speed isn't controlled by the rider). I had the last remaining one on my radar next weekend at Wild Water and Wheels, but I saw a Facebook post that Pipeline Express closed. I cannot find an official news story, but the coaster has been removed from the park's website. RCDB Page
  3. Thanks! I was definitely leaning towards FastLane on a holiday weekend and just wanted to figure out a way to get on the non-Fast Lane rides I like. I've been on Thunder Run in the past and it's not a priority for me on this visit.
  4. I love how 10-20 minute lines at Dorney cause FastLane to sell out.
  5. ^ Doesn't Toy Story only dispatch 8 at a time too?
  6. At every Cedar Fair park (except Kings Island for some reason) I have been able to buy a FastLane Plus at the park for the price of a regular FastLane if I show my Platinum Pass.
  7. Every story about this place gets fishier and fishier.
  8. The nice thing about Steel Vengeance's FastLane line is that they do have a wait time posted out front for it. When I went last year, it was while they had only 2 trains. But they were letting about a half train's worth of FastLane people every other train.
  9. ^ True. Thankfully I knew to expect headbanging going in, so I learned forward and survived.
  10. ^ Thanks! I'm not sure if Cheyenne had a pool, so maybe that's one advantage of the Sequoia Lodge? If I go back to Disneyland Paris, I'd definitely stay at Cheyenne again. You aren't missing much with their Indiana Jones if you've been on Raging Spirits. Picture Raging Spirits but rougher.
  11. I never realized how far Coaster's lap bars rested from your lap. Now I know why that thing has crazy airtime.
  12. That long support on the banana roll looks so weird.
  13. Out of curiosity, has there been any life by the Boblseds? I heard the park did some work on the trains this offseason, but Queue Times hasn't shown it running yet.
  14. ^ And that bobsled coaster is barely alive at Great Escape. It's down more than it's open.
  15. Great report! Not all dinosaur rides are in jeeps. Ellen's Energy Adventure was in a colossal unthemed car.
  16. ^ Thanks! I agree 100% on the fries and I guess they paid close attention to their male and female nouns.
  17. ^^ I was looking forward to getting some great views on that one at La Ronde, but then it was closed.
  18. Thanks! I feel like Asterix is going to get a lot more attention from enthusiasts once that crazy Intamin opens. But that park is already great so it's just gravy.
  19. ^ That's one of the main incentives for me to stop at Dorney Park. I love how terrifying they are.
  20. The second to last list is my favorite.
  21. That's awesome Disney had a backup rather than taking the ride down.
  22. Thanks! Yeah the park was gorgeous and had more theming than expected.
  23. If I were in the area, I'd probably ride Batman once and then marathon Joker.
  24. Speaking of Guardian, I actually like that ride and want to go on it once or twicr. Does that ride's line tend to die down near closing? I'm eying a trip there a week from Saturday and plan to rope drop it for my first ride seeing that it isn't on Fast Lane.
  25. Mickey and Minnie's Magical Railway is 2D as well so maybe something came out of the development of that ride?
