    Rode Gwazi yesterday for the last time. Now I had ridden it on opening day YEARS ago and felt it was good, but not GCI great. Over the years it got worse and worse. Then I rode it 4 years ago with the new trains. It was GREAT! Smooth, enjoyable, fast. That didn't last long. And yesterday I rode it in the front seat, thinking it would be the smoothest. Wrong. It was rough. It was shaky. It just sucked. I will NOT miss what this ride has become. Empty station. They are only running one side but they decided to use on of each train (Lion and Tiger) til it closes. So does it count as two credits?

    Just going to say it. My 2nd year doing this gift exchange, and no thank you from the recipient. I know you cannot make it mandatory, but when someone takes the time and effort to buy and ship gifts to a complete stranger, a simple thank you does not seem to be asking too much.

    OK. Christmas was almost a week ago, yet still checking to see posts of everyone about their gifts. Even a simple thank you would suffice, but it seems now two years in a row, the person I sent gifts to hasn't even posted a quick thanks. It would be nice to know that all of our hard work was appreciated.

    I was at IOA last Sunday watching Grinchmas. The man in front of me (who insisted on letting everyone know he only lives 10 minutes from the park and so is there all of the time) starts talking with the family next to him. They tell him they are from San Antonio and go to Sea World all the time. And then the genius replies with "Well, I feel bad for Sea World here. They're probably going to close it." Hey dumbass. SHUT UP!!

    Quick observation: If you received your package, maybe post a short "hey I got it but I'm waiting til Christmas to open it." I shipped mine out over 3 weeks ago, and I am hoping it arrived but no mention on this thread. Thanks!

I didn't wrap my gifts, so this is appreciated! Even my dog Nahla cannot wait! Hmm.....Amazon wish list perhaps? Woo hoo! A Broadway CD I don't own! But I do now! And an awesome book!     Pleasant Surprise: Sledgehammer at Canada's Wonderland It looked intimidating, but it was actually a lot of fun, and I think the only one of its kind in the world. Unpleasant: Bizarro at SFNE Maybe it was an off day, but I was so underwhelmed by this ride. Millenium Force all the way for this guy! Yes! Eh....not a fan

    Yay for holiday fun! I've worked at WDW since 1999 and am a former Cedar Point, Busch Gardens (both of them), Universal Studio FL and Japan, and Sea World cast member. I am more into vintage stuff like Cedar Point early 70's to mid 80's but not picky. Since I work at Disney, I'd prefer not to get anything from there since I would most likely have already gotten it for myself! I am a HUGE musical theater fan and music director, but again I probably own most cast CD's. T-shirt size Large.     Perhaps the reason they changed the garland is that the new parade's floats are too tall. I know during the Christmas TV special taping, they used to take down the garland. I LOVE the new look! Classy! And I am going to the party tomorrow night!

    Saw it last night, and it was AWESOME!! I think the Meet and Greet at DHS should start mid November. Can't wait for that!

    Just got back from my absolute last ride on Maelstrom. Got lots of people stopping me for my t-shirt.     I hope to make it back to Maelstrom for one last ride. Last week, my friend Grant flew in from LA to do Epcot for the day. And we had some fun shirts made for the occasion!

    Thanks for coming Robb and Bethany! Glad you enjoyed it. Just 22 more shows to go! And while we are technically SOLD OUT for the rest of the run, they do have a standby line that forms 90 minutes prior to show for any cancellations. Here is MY view of the show from the orchestra loft Hard at work. Actually prior to show and conducting the other 9 members, 2 on the left (bass and percussion) and six on the right (3 reeds, french horn, trombone, and trumpet).

    Since it seems we're all posting what we WISH CP would build, I will add to that: LOST Cedar Point (a la Lost Kennywood) Featuring the return of Pirate Ride (the building is still there) and (in my dreams) Earthquake! Some classic flats: Double Ferris Wheel, Tiki Twirl, Star Jets, Bayern Kurve, and of course Schwabinchen! But in reality, I am good with the money going to infrastructure and improvements. While the GP would prefer a flashy new ride or mega coaster every year, the smart investment is on lodging and making the park as attractive as possible. Maintain the historical aspect while updating aging structures to appeal to a larger demographic. Hotel improvements, sit down/floorless Mantis, and possibly a flat or two.
