Apparently you couldn't even see it from Chicago, which is pretty lame.

So now I can walk into line with a bucket of popcorn without them stopping me?! Sa-Weet!!! Honestly, it was a hassle (not for me) when some 5 employees standing at Raging Bull telling people how to rent lockers and forcing them to step out of line to go put their stuff in a locker. Now sure, SFGAm might make a profit from the 1 dollar lockers at Superman, Dark Knight, Batman, V2, American Eagle, Iron Wolf, Demon, Raging Bull, and Viper, but considering they have to pay the employees to stand there probably made the profit margin a little smaller. I only bring a camera and my phone in line, but I can see how the policy could ruin some families fun (I.E someone has to stay back and hold the stuff) Quick example; My mom, my brother, and I wanted to ride the Mine Train at SF St. Louis, but you had to rent lockers for a family coaster, which was weird. But my mom had to stay on the midway to hold everything. Ahhhh whatever, let's just hope it's all over

"The new roller coaster will be built by Bolliger & Mabillard (exact details such as type will be announced later)." This is really great news!!! Honestly, I would have been fine if they got and X-Coaster like at Magic Springs. But now that they, at least will try, will try to get a B&M means they could bump the park on the map! Now, if it's a Chang replica, I'll be disappointed, I want to see something new. But, really great news! And keeping the food prices the same prices as the outside area of the park is really smart. I can't tell you how many times I've left SF Great America to go to Burger King, or Jersey Mikes *pukes* because I wasn't into the 8 dollar pizza sold at the park. The free parking sounds nice too, tough competition with Holiday World!

^I'm loving the description of Texas Giant that the train operator gives. I'm very happy that I got to ride Texas Giant back in 2008, I actually liked it. But looking at this, Mamma Mia!!! This thing looks like a total behemoth next to the midway, and that drop is still jaw-dropping! Still hoping they don't trim it, but I can't change that! The sad thing, I probably won't get a chance to ride this in the next 5 years...

You know Robb, if it wasn't for that North East Trip, I would be all over this! This West Coast Bash fits right into my Spring Break, but I got to focus on the bigger trip! Hopefully you guys will continue doing this, as you do an amazing job, I'd love to try this out another year. I hope everyone has a blast! (Especially riding the new roller coasters, whichever open!)

Cedar Point (CP) Discussion Thread

Maverick is very smooth! What you are thinking of is the high jerkiness level! I love Maverick, but I do agree that holding your head to the side ruins the fun, and even though I got whacked in the head a couple times, it added to it. Maverick is glass smooth, at least in the front, but at the speed it goes through during all those turns will thrust your head side to side. I guess it all depends on what you like in a coaster. Personally, I don't enjoy Voyage as much as I would have liked, but that's just me being in the minority. -
When a coaster train goes uphill, it loses speed. Shocking indeed. So when the train crests to the top of the 8, it will be going slower than it did a couple seconds earlier! Hope that's clear enough... I think the new element looks great! I can't wait for those banners etc. to be added to the ride!

Personally, I prefer offride videos. It shows the true speed of rides rather than onride because online POVs seem slower than in person, so I tend not to like them.

Vertical Velocity at SF Great America! -
Favourite Vekoma!
Jerrykoala2112 replied to Sasquatch's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
The ones I enjoyed the most were.... Déjà 'Vu- Six Flags Great America 13. Ninja- Six Flags Over Georgia Firehawk- Kings Island Thunderhawk- Michigan’s Adventure I do enjoy Vekoma mine trains too! SLCs aren't too bad either. -
I fell across some photos of the upcoming coaster! Thought I should share... Gotham City Gauntlet: Escape from Arkham Asylum My Opinion: I'm actually surprised they are going to theme it. And I think it looks good! (For a wild mouse at least) It obviously won't be indoors, so it might not be as well themed as Dark Knight, but it still looks pretty good! Can't wait to ride it next year!

The pictures above make me think of French clothing, French Toast, French Fries, etc... But the last picture has Italy in it, so maybe you are on the border of the two countries because the telephones you posted earlier has the name "Borders" above it... Maybe Nice, France, as someone mentioned earlier, but somewhere close to the border

My guess is that you guys would be heading to Australia! More specifically towards the Great Barrier Reef. Not sure if I'm just thinking too literal, but in the last 3 pictures you posted... The Singapore plane I thought of being being big, or "Great" The picture of the roof is a really great "Barrier" to all the snow and crap... and the pictures of models, on the back of their shirt says "Reef" I'm not sure if this is even close to being right. But that's just my first guess Edit: To even prove you are in Australia, or even Hong Kong, the Singapore Airplane picture has the drivers driving on the wrong side of the rode. So only the old British colonies come to mind. So, Hong Kong (Disneyland...) or even Australia
