  1. If that elevator lift would be at a theme park, that would be one of the sweeting things ever! I still find this place a little neat that it is more of a garden park rather than a regular museum inside a building. Too bad there weren't any Smart Cars!
  2. As much as you liked the park, I still don't think you liked it as much as I wanted you to! It's rides like the Atomic Collider and Tak Attack that make this park amazing, in my opinion, as you cannot find the rides anywhere else! I still can't imagine Avatar giving neck-choppers, but I guess that depends on height. I also love the fact that you can you can get pictures of the park from anywhere in the mall, on any floor. Any spot you take pictures gets you a whole different perspective of the park! My only problem with the park was, also, the operations on Sponge Bob! Even though I got many, many rides on it (short lines all the time) it still bugged me that I had to wait in the station or the part before the lift for a good 30 seconds to a minute before taking off. Great report and pictures though! Good read, and I know I will revisit Nickelodoen Universe for some more great visits!
  3. I'm actually glad Intamin went with a -sort of- new layout than Colossus because they could have just easily added 2 more barrel rolls. The layout looks pretty fun (judging from me following it with the mouse) and wouldn't mind if a park like Kentucky Kingdom decided to build it!
  4. Damn! The ride will be out until Sunday? I hope it opens in February, I never got a chance to ride the ride any of the other times I visited, and was really hoping I could ride it in February... Just my luck!
  5. Even though Sky Screamer would only be what, 150 feet tall?, it would still be a big hit with the seats swaying back and forth.
  6. Happy New Year everybody! I'm excited for.... -Cruise to Bahamas, stopping at Islands of Adventure (Harry Potter World) -Sky Screamer at Six Flags ST. Louis -TPR North East Trip! -Anything else that comes up 2011 will be an amazing year
  7. OOooooOOoooOOoooOoOoooohhhhhh the irony!
  8. What kind of trains does it have now? Intamin stand-up trains. I honestly think Gwazi needs re-tracking, I know it operates yearly, but it was horrendous when I rode it! Don't hold your breath, but Rolling Thunder at SF Great Adventure....
  9. -The rise of GCI, TGG, and Intamin wooden coasters -Euro Fighters -Premier still building rides! -Every single launched coaster That's all I can think of!
  10. Remember, Ed doesn't really won't a water park, he just want a ride park/thrill park. Yeah, that's why he's doubling the size of the water park Don't more people go for rides than water anyways? And the water park industry is expanding while the theme park industry is shrinking, so it could go either way. Most people go to Kentucky Kingdom for the water park anyways, the ride park is really lacking (but that could all change under Ed's management)
  11. Yes. Please, for the love of God, a separate room for RCT is mandatory. Whenever we have a convo, there's always the one that shall not be named that interrupts by posting a link to his park and says LOOK AT MY PARK GUYS LOOK AT MY PARK GUYS. Ugh. Yes. Please, for the love of God, a separate room for RCT is mandatory. Whenever we have a convo, there's always the one that shall not be named that interrupts by posting a link to his park and says LOOK AT MY PARK GUYS LOOK AT MY PARK GUYS. Ugh. I totally agree. The only real time you can have a straight chat is when all the RCT people are sleeping, which is almost never. Once one of them enters, you might as well leave, ugh. I understand it's anyone's chat and stuff, but people in the chat are always talking about RCT and there is no chance for others to talk about something.
  12. I still think Kings Island was tough competition with Kentucky Kingdom. They too seemed to be adding capital investments every year, but we only saw a video of Kentucky Kingdoms attendance growth and decline. I wish I could see these charts from every park, I find them pretty interesting! Well, Ed Hart said on his YouTube videos that the Chang area will be used for the water park expansions, but the front side of the park where Greezed Lightning is where the new B&M is going to. Removing the unpopular attractions is an option too, but the B&M is the only major ride they're adding. They're spending 3 million to fix up Twisted Twins and getting new trains! So, adding a new coaster isn't too bad.
  13. This was a really fun, but tough, contest!!! I'm actually surprised I won, but the clues were very well thought out. Thanks to everyone else for playing, you guys made the giveaway a lot more intimidating!
  14. Edit: Awesome! Lots of hours spent finding the ride
  15. I think it is Hollywood Rip Ride Rocket at Universal Studios Florida! I think the park is set in New York City, which ties in. Vertical lift relates to the vertical clue. And the Social Network picture could refer to a famous Hollywood movie, Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit! Edit: Maurer being the company, ties in with the mountain picture. 2nd Edit: I think the Tornado refer to the Tornado: Ride it out ride!
  16. I think it's Manhattan Express for a couple reasons.... -Many people wish it was blown away in a Tornado -Jesse is from New York, themed after New York -Visiting a German city in the Alps would be more fun -The Vertical Limit could be a crane people will rent to destroy the ride! Hope I'm right!
  17. I have 2 options on what it could be! For one: It could be Sky Rocket at Kennywood (Kennywood because Adventureland filmed there, Jesse was an actor there) And Kennywood has a hilly layout. Sky Rocket has a vertical climb and drop! I also think it could be Thunderbolt at Kennywood for the same reasons as above but in tornado, thunder and lightning occurs in the clouds. I don't know! That's what I'll stick with unless it's wrong.
  18. The first ride that comes to mind is Big Bad Wolf. The tornado picture could refer to wind produced by the tornado, and the Wolf character in 3 little pigs blew the pig's houses with wind. The German Village picture could refer to the ride's layout winding through the German themed village. The vertical limit photo could refer to the drop it goes through on it's 2nd lift hill, not sure how the Social Network would tie in.
  19. They're famous ski destinations in the winter (or whenever it snows!) ??
  20. Are you referring to the aerial tramway you need to board from Gatlinburg to get to Ober Gatlinburg?
  21. That guy does own a company but it is not Anheuser-Busch. One of his restaurants is the location of the bonus picture. Here is another clue: Ober Gatlinburg I'm guessing you're talking about the theme park with alpine slide and other amusement attractions, along with the mall with a skating rink indoors, all on top of the hill?
  22. This photo reminds me of Adventure Mountain at Dollywood because of the rope climbing and etc.
  23. It's the Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge update! *From IntimidaTOUR!* But the only thing I can think of with the two pictures is how the mountains surround the little town in the picture, along with Gatlinburg. Otherwise, I'm still thinking!
  24. Well, the mountain picture clue could refer to the Smokey Mountains in Gatlinburg and such!
