Almost every Six Flags I've been to I see a ride op either talking on his/her cell phone and doing as little as possible. We had an op on Hurler at Carowinds that was so annoying. He would act like he was a DJ or something and try "scratching" to the music by pushing the talk button to the rhythem of the song on at the time. Then he'd go on and on about how cute and gorgeous he was. I'm glad rides are run by computer there days.

I wanted to reach 50lbs by Christmas and I thought it wouldn't happen, but if I bust my butt again this week I might get there! I've lost 49 so far Then I'll pig out Saturday night.

I also think it's kind of bizare that the Victorians were all about being prim and proper and the women being covered up to their eyeballs. Yet around every corner there are paintings and statues of naked women and men.

^ Very true. But my opinon of the ride is that it is by far the worst wooden coaster I've ever been due to the trains. If they can improve the ride by removing those piece of junk trains and putting PTCs on it, more power to them. The loop was the best part of the ride, but that's because the rest of the ride sucked because of the trains. It was a cool idea to do a loop on a woody, but it just didn't work. Move on.

^ Yeah they've used the house in several movies: Being Here (I think that's the title), Spys like us (I think, it was one of those 80's spy comedies) and a few others. They've also used the grounds some in a few movies as well. But Richie Rich probably had the most shots of the house that I've seen in any of the movies.

Last Saturday a friend and I headed up to Biltmore House(Asheville, NC) which is about 2 hours from Charlotte. Unfortunatley we are forbidden from taking pictures inside, something about 500 year old tapestries or something. grrrrr But I did get a ton of shots on the grounds and other stuff. Uh...make it 45lbs now gone. 2lbs a week doesn't happen much for me, so I'm excited.

^ Yeah I used to drink 1 Diet Mt. Dew a day and it was still raising it up. So I just went cold turkey on the stuff. It took about 2 weeks to completley get off the stuff because I had headaches every now and then for those 2 weeks. Plus think about it...how healthy is it to pour ACID down your throat?

Someone PM'D me and asked my "secret" to losing weight... It's no secret really. I just started eating a lot healthier, I exercise at least 4 times a week (40 minutes), drink water and hardly any sugary soft drinks (the caffeine was raising my blood pressure), avoid red meat, get 7-8 hours sleep and avoid going to Golden Corral!!!! Buffets gross me out now. It's just disgusting to see someone being taken in by that mess. If you are 400lbs should you really be going to a buffet?

5.8 or 5.9 I'm a good average height.

This isn't a huge update, but I've lost 44lbs so far now. But this week I wore a pair of pants that I haven't worn in 2 years!!! My waredrobe keeps growing every day.

Uh...Christmas Pyramid? I loved the park last year at Christmas, but Thunderhead in 40 degrees really isn't my idea of fun. I still say that Mystery Mine looks like some Swiss ski lodge or something.

I was kind of surprised they found them guilty. But I do see the court's point, if they did in fact manufacturer a faulty wiring system on the coaster then they were partly to blame.

^ Yeah I've heard a figure of something like 50% of people that lived there before are never going to return. It's going to be hard to justify the park in six flags debt load situation.

You have to also rememember that they could get assistance from the Feds and so they wouldn't have to pay for the entire restoration. I think it's strange though that a year has gone by with not a word. ^ This is what their website says.
