  1. That was great. You are great. And I hope that things are pulling thru better over there for you and yours. AND I wish you were on the UK tour with us. Can I adopt you???
  2. Hmmm. I always wondered where everybody was able to change the words above their avatar. Hmmm. Well, since I seem to be the only one who's (so I've been able to figure out) using this avatar how about changing it's caption (bye for now, Donkey) to "Coasta-Hippie" ... for now. Santa would be ok with that, wouldn't he? Hoho. Thanks muchly Ms.E - Cheers! bill/NW/CH
  3. Mmmmmmm - so NICE to have some peoples taking care of the organizing, etc.etc.etc. of UK2oo6tour - can't feel Mmmmmmm enough, lol.
  4. Couldn't resist being on PAGE 100!!! Who hoo! Nice weather today. Some sort of solo violin thing, on the radio. CBC workers are on strike across Canada. So we get 'generic classical music'. Not bad - could be worse, with deadair deadair deadair....
  5. Double ARIES (birth and ascending signs) born in the Year of The Snake. (ssssss)
  6. The last night I was in DL, a Sunday, in early 1996, me and my friend got stuck (with others) in Splash Mountain. For us, it was just before the 'dip & buzzbuzz' as we used to call it, lol. Eventually, announcements were made to us, a CM went to every log and gathered us all up and we got to traverse those little pathways in and around such Disney attractions. Eventually made our way to (literally) the back door of the show building with stairs leading to ground level. It was wierd seeing the back of the building which held the attraction inside of it. and if we looked left as we went down the stairs, we saw the Haunted Mansion bldg. too and to the far right was the (then) Country Bear Jamboree bldg. Just quietly odd-looking, in the falling gentle rain...
  7. wow - and i just got to know him for a bit, since connecting with your site. that sucks. hmmm. sorry to hear it, and know it now. hope you both do okay in the next while. take care of each other.
  8. When I was seven........geez when WAS I seven???
  9. My "Future Park of Choice" is for me, for now - Tokyo Disney Sea. With TDL thrown in as the bonus park, heh heh. And with that in mind - I am planning maybe a fall 2008 trip to Tokyo to go and be a part of TDL's 25th Anniversary year. And see what they do for Halloween, too. Then again - few years away - things could change, hmmm?
  10. I am hoping - that if Expedition Everest is wildly successful, that there might be the off-chance the attraction could be cloned in DLP, in the Adventureland section! If the Indy Coaster was removed - the land parcel for building it could/should be as big as the 'original' at AK. And by the way - Robb is right on $ about the way a Disney park is put together. And to be honest? It's really more than the number of thrill attractions at a Disney Park. The park itself WAS the attraction, used to be th e attraction. Still is to a lot, I know. And I think a number of the US Disney park-goers, should save their Euros up and go to Disneyalnd Paris and see what Disneyland could be like, if they had the space and the landscaping expansiveness. Even Sleeping Beauty Castle is like it's grown up into a tall sleek beautiful princess that it should be, lol. And now it'l be three SleepBeautys to two Cindys in castle iconography, lol. Frontierland uses an amazing backstory to create the entire town, something Disneyland really couldn't do at the time it was built. And the Haunted Mansion is basically, where the original Imagineers wanted it to be, in Frontierland. And there's a HUGE Swiss Family Treehouse as the icon of Adventureland! So whatever is being lost here and there in DL - it seems to be re-imagined and enhanced at DLP. IOA in USF is really one of the very few times, that another non-Disney park has really really worked at putting actual themeing into their lines and queueing areas. And as well everything else a park-goer would want and need. But Disney does it best. And by the way, years and years ago there was rumors and actual newsprint up here in the early 60's that Disney himself was up here in Vancouver to consider location for a Canuck version of..... Didn't pan out later on though, as The Weather put them off. Hah. And now they build covered arcades and walkways through most of their overseas parks. A Disney theme park within several hundred/thousand miles of each other is not so bad a thing. More space for more new attractions to be tried out and created --- yum!
  11. Here's our pride and joy - and generally non-flustered - Camille. Rescued from the SPCA, she literally vogued for us from her (then) cage. Now, after near two years, she's pretty much got our place (and us) in order, lol. Typical relaxation styling. (o:
