Alton Towers pic and video TR. 22/09/05
Nrthwnd replied to tinhead's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Fun TR. Thanks for the tour. And I am definitely looking forward to that amazing complex attraction --- Bench: The Ride. Noticed quite a lineup for that, hmm? Good fun. I also wish we had soundtracks along with some of these coaster rides. Like Disney does with a few of theirs? Makes a somewhat bumpy ride a bit more....funky? Maybe not, lol. Thanks again for sharing your great day there. -
^ Section 3? No, I haven't K8. Thanks for letting me know. We have a real heavy number of eats everywhere in this city. Haven't been to them all, unf. Will check it out, thanks. (o:

And Holiday World has definitely proven itself, in the "bigger ain't necessarily better" dept. Btw, Thorpe's would be my first-ever too. Yippeeeee... -

How about TPR boxers? -
Well, I was kind of going 'eh' by the end of it. The father-finding-daughter scene immediately made me go, "oh really?" IMO I think Shaun Cassidy did better with American Gothic than this (producer/writer). But I'll give it another look-see next week and give it a chance.

^ That's ok with me. I like odd. And well-brewed brews.

Well, here I is, digi-cammed yesterday (Sept.21), in back yard. In a fave shirt. (and this is Post #200!) The blue color is great on this shirt!

The pilots and inflight crew RULED! I was so scared watching it, hoping it wouldn't just nose dive into the tarmac. What a crew!

When a Water Ride crashes in RCT... it goes up in flames - go figger. --- later that night --- Crown refitted on broken tooth, yesterday. Good fit. Glad it's working.

If you've enjoyed any of the video downloads they've let us see for ourself, especially The Euro-Tour., it's really a wonderful way to support them and get something great back for the $$$ spent. Really. I found TPR at a good time in my life, and if buying vids and shirts keeps them happy and supports the site, great! Great for me too! Save up - then, buy up LOL. (There might, however, be a 'Keep Dan and Joey Dry Fund' that might be set up, in the n-t-d future )

I just realized, that if they added a Haunted Mansion to HKD, putting it in Adventureland would put an entirely new spin on it, hmm? Ancient tribal ghosts and goblies, huh? And VooDoo the way they do - woo hoo!!! And the building itself could be a jungle temple-mansion in it's own way or just a Haunted Temple huh?

Dubailand, new themepark, Aqua Dunya

OMG, I love model-making! Even if the eventual park doesn't exactly turn out like that. I have pix of our early model of the World's Fair (1986) site here I should post for you all to see... Hmmm... Pix look great of the park model, dd. Would certainly be something interesting to travel too in the not-too-distant future, if $ possible. And it's amazing how everything has been fit into the shape it is. Is there room for much expansion or am I just a nerd with math? -
Now where IS the TR video for that fireworks' display huh??? 8)

I miss the Pacific National Exhibition here in Vancouver, Canada the way it used to be, before land was reclaimed and parkland was restored. Not that there's anything wrong in that. But the fair has lost alot of the variety in it's diversity of presentations and displays during the two weeks it runs. The Puyallup still does that quite nicely in this day and age, thankfully. So it's nice and close by, too.

Thinking and hoping everything works out ok with those in (now) Rita's path. Everybody take care.
