  1. I have read in some Disney-related sites, that the company's probably not calling the restaurant connected to the new Ratatouille ride, a second attraction in the complex. So - has anybody heard anything about the second attraction, yet? Rumors include an updated redone tram tour; something to replace "Armaggedon", though the building footprint is pretty small; "Animagique" out and "Mickey's PhilharMagic" in; "Soarin' Around France/The World", in it's own spot... That's a few I have read about.
  2. Spelling mistake noted. Sort of. They didn't dot any of their 'i's.
  3. Though I really hate to admit it, after going to Fuji-Q last summer with TPR, and now after reading this tour report... I think Fuji-Q is the better deal, than Carnival.
  4. For some reason - March is usually - My busy, busy month.
  5. I'll say it was KidTums who got herself cut off.
  6. So Joey - you know what they say... "When you find yourself with just lemons..." But then again - it's kind of redundant since you were asking for lemonade, LOL! Very Klassy, indeed.
  7. Looks - breathtaking. The fly-thru the loading station (?) from POV and outside, looks insane! Europa appears to have another big hit in their already wonderful park, IMhO.
  8. ^^ Poor Kidtums. I hope that face paint comes off ok. And the TPR t-shirts look awesome! (Didn't see them on any of you in the earlier pix.)
  9. I saw Ice Bat! And it looks "almost" like TPR is single-handedly (multi-handedly?) providing the Klassy Total Onboard Entertainment (K-TOE for short) for this. All the other Klassy Kruise travellers must have been very impressed with that.
  10. I really believe, once Kathie Lee Gifford left the fold, it all went downhill from there.
  11. Poor live conch. But other than that.... "K to the -lassy" yeah! (or is it the other way 'round?) Now all we need here is a "Ship Tip" (go Costa!) The tour looks scarily awesome, guys.
  12. Came back from a great week's visit to San Diego with a weekend getaway to Palm Springs. Hot, hot, humid, and lovely.
  13. Mmm. Loop penetration. Awesome report.
  14. ^ But - where is the amusement section (i.e. coaster{s})? Actually, it really does look like a lovely layout, Mark.
  15. ^ I giggled when I recently saw at Amazon.com that they've now put a "Parental Advisory Warning" on the cover of The Book Of Mormon cd. So I guess my original copy is now kinda rare, since it didn't have that warning on it when it was first released, hee hee. (And I was soooooo *shocked* and had absolutely no idea, when I bought it... ) By the way Hilltopper39, if you haven't gotten a copy of the actual libretto of the show (thru Amazon), it's just as brilliantly funny (IMhO) as the score, and great to read along between the numbers. And yes me too, for a tour of it if and when it ever comes to Vancouver (or even Seattle or Portland) - best seats possible for this one, lol.
  16. I think I am drinking instant coffee way too much. Even too much decaf.
  17. Well, I hope they'll come up with something more elaborate than a spinner flat ride - each vehicle being one of The A Birds, lol. But - they could have this too - and something else more... elaborate? How about an enclosed mouse coaster, themed to AB? Possible.
  18. Very cool. I loved it! I especially liked the spinner coaster car popping onto the balcony and out of it, like a classic ghost train dark ride. Very nicely done. Music choice was great, too.
  19. "Don't Pick A Fight With A Poet" Love the title and song - forgot the singer and writer. Oops.
  20. I sooooo wanted to get to this World's Fair, Mark! (The one right before ours here in 1986, too.) And somewhere, packed safely away here - are actual one-day admission tix. we bought ahead of time, up here in Vancouver! Mint cond. pretty sure And then plans changed - and I couldn't get to it. A past Regret. But thankyou for sharing the flyer and photos, Mark! It looked like a really cool fair, with how it was set up with the buildings and landscaping, etc. (That Jet 400 looked pretty sexy too, lol.) EDIT to add: "Official Film of the 1982 World's Fair." Poor, poor Kodak. I also find it amazing how much pix and print, parks put into (in those days) their guides and/or flyers, for helping people get 'the right shot' with tips for focusing, framing, etc. And the selected "Kodak Photo Spots" on the park/fair maps too, heh heh.
  21. ^ Have a great time there - wish I was going. and any cake decorated to look like something coaster, or theme park-ish... Very awesome.
  22. We toured that park, and stayed nearby back in ....1976, before Spielberg's "Close Encounters" came out. They had done filming there already, so we were now allowed to go up to and around the Gopher Village, lol. Very cool to see. Thanks for the upclose tour of it all, Mike. Such good memories of it - mystical and breathtaking - at sunset (when we arrived) or sunrise (when we woke up).
