  1. So, tomorrow I leave for Mexico City... ...and do the TPR Mexico Tour, woo hoo! But, one more video and one more pic ~ and some more pix to be shown when I get back, Easter Weekend ~ to be shown at the end of this TR. The video is pretty self-explanatory and only takes up only 25 seconds of your time, heh heh. [coastertube]http://www.themeparkreview.com/coastertube/play.php?vid=MVI_1324_kmbg[/coastertube] And the photo is a dress rehearsal for what I will post after I get back. Ole! everybody! The All-Important On/Off Ride Photos! There is 8 of them, last time I counted. See y'all after Easter weekend!
  2. Outlaw Run 'Cause I've heard/read/seen more about it, than the other one.
  3. "Gone, Gone, Gone." Phillip Phillips
  4. I love this place, and wish I could get down there for a visit, more often. Thanks for finding and sharing the video!
  5. Based on what I figured out about Pooh's Hunny Hunt at TDL, that attraction had three trackless ride paths for the three 'hunny pots' that left the load station each time. And Aquatopia (the original Disney trackless) at TDS had two paths, for each side of the loading station. Mystic Manor is (so far) alluding to having two ride vehicles leaving at once, with two separate ride paths. And this "dance" that the cars do at one point near the end of the ride, they do it with the two cars ahead of them. Or behind them., depending. What I know, and have read... EDIT after reading link - okay, so it's four routes, LOL! Sounds like the first two vehicles to leave have their two routes and the two following them have the other two routes.
  6. Since this thread started, I have now "accumulated" a few more countries than I started out with, back in .... 2005? Here goes... Pre-TPR: USA Japan Mexico England France The Netherlands TPR +: Wales Germany Belgium Denmark Sweden Norway Finland Italy Switzerland China Hong Kong
  7. ^ Yeah, eventually, lol. And ^^ I thought the Christmas Story Gummies were great, too! And I wish I had bought a few more boxes, too. This always happens on most of the TPR tours I take. After I get home, I realize I should have bought maybe two or three of certain things, for gift giving, etc. Oh well. Here's one of the longest vids I took, that of the finale of the big Festival of The Lion King, playing in Adventureland of HKDL. I have heard it's the same production done in Animal Kingdom. Do not know, haven't see that one. And this one was pretty good for what it was. Not exactly the movie, but more of a 'celebration' of the Lion King's life, etc etc. I enjoyed it. Very colourful, noisy and pretty entertaining. [coastertube]http://www.themeparkreview.com/coastertube/play.php?vid=MVI_1209_zse5[/coastertube] (Sorry it takes so long to download. I have been having probs with this one, too.)
  8. I'll Be Waiting Adele 21
  9. This was the park where we got a lot of rain that day, in the 2009 Scandi Tour. But we still rode everything open, which was all of the coasters. This could be as much fun, heh heh. Yep. Even in the pouring rain, we'll ride coasters. Coming into the stn., on Falken.
  10. ^^ Could happen. Winning the lottery, I mean.
  11. Matthew Barber - "Feel My Love"
  12. ^ You think? Actually ALL things that are Disney Theme Parks LOL! Always loved learning how things were put together, and then enjoy the total experience of a Disney attraction. Very "backstage theatre" to me.
  13. ^^^^ I find it interesting that both recent patents you posted, happen to be for (could be for) the two attractions supposedly in front of the new castle being built at SD. Dumbo and Carousel. Things that make you go hmmm....
  14. Hmmm. Actually, there was one surprising "souvenir" I came upon, and thought I had never really seen one of these before... in any park, till the tour. I had grouped together one more assortment of souvenir 'stuff', and then I realized... omg It's a Theme Park Sickie Bag! From Chimelong Paradise. Huh. Do any other parks (in the world) provide something like this for their visitors?
  15. ^ Yes, of course, you're right about that. Still ~ it's soooo nice to imagine the possibility, heh heh. I also thought it could very well be The Attraction, put in beside Toy Story Mania at Disney Hollywood Studios at WDW...?
  16. Wow. Just noticed.... There are 39,939 members in TPR at this time! That's a lot of 3s and such.
  17. My resume sort of goes like this... (mostly all musicals) Amateur Theatre 1968 - Stingiest Man In Town - Cratchit kid 1969 - White Horse Inn - Kurt/chorus ~ On A Clear Day You can See Forever - dancer 1969 - Carousel - chorus 1970 - My Fair Lady - dancer/chorus 1971 - West Side Story - Shark AND Jet! ~ Annie Get Your Gun - dancer ~ Hello Dolly! - dancer 1972 - Brigadoon - dancer 1973 - Camelot - backstage help/costumes ~ A Midsummer Night's Dream - The Wall/Rustic 1974 - No, No, Nanette! - lead dancer Professional Theatre 1974 - Charlottetown Festival P.E.I. - ~ Anne of Green Gables - Gilbert Blythe ~ Johnny Belinda - dancer and chorus ~ Kronborg:1582 - Guildenstern (Rock opera of "Hamlet") 1975 - George M! - George M. Cohan ~ Fiddler on The Roof - Perchik 1976 - Seesaw - lead dancer 1977 - West Side Story - Riff And then... I quit and left Actors Equity, around 1981. (And ACTRA as I was doing a tiny bit of tv and extra work in film, too.) Am not feeling as bad now, as when I decided to stop doing 'it.' A few regrets, but not a lot.

  19. So this is about all, for the souvenirs. But there are still a few here to show - I ended up with 6 t-shirts, mostly from Hong Kong Disney, but I actually found a Happy Valley one! And of course the always awesome TPR Tour shirts. The park maps were somewhat hard to come by at times, even with the bigger parks. The little parks we hit every other day, naturally had no map, except one at the park's entrance. But then, that's how I kept forgetting all the names of them, LOL! And then - there's Best Souvenir of All Souvenirs.... The HKDL shirt at left bottom corner was a "limited edition" with only 1000 printed, per shirt! I thought that was cool. And affordable too. And then I got me my Grizzly Gulch shirts too, Woo Hoo! All the maps, sort of in order of visiting. And then ~ the Best Souvenir of All ~ TPR Tour Bags with helpful goodies inside! Great new design, too. And here's where the rest of my TPR Goodies Candy went after I got back home. As well, there's (still) a mini bottle of "something" there, from the 2006 UK Tour. Anybody remember the bottle? From the 'Add-on'?
  20. Heh heh. Nice to see Chip and Dale in the pack. And the Easter "eggs" around TDL were really great. Usually placed in really nice settings, too. But so odd to see them in ....late June. We were there when the "spring season" was just ending.
  21. ^ The show was about 40+ minutes, in one take. No intermission. The two leads were amazing. both in acting and singing. The book was done in Japanese, and the songs staying in English, most of them I remember. The shows actual book was totally upended and keeping out the really negative parts of it. A couple of numbers were switched in order, but for what it was, was okay. One set and procenium for the whole thing. Pieces brought in, like two beds for the girls in "Popular". But nothing too major like the New York show has. But for all of it, the performances are the pay-off in this theme park version of "Wicked." The men too, were good in the roles they played (Fiyero, Wizard). But more briefly onstage here, than in NY. If there was a CD of the performance, I would have bought one. And I bought t-shirts at the gift shop too, LOL. Hope that helps, Mark.
