  1. Great start, Larry. Looking forward to more.
  2. ^ And make sure you don't end up in the WET Bandit queue (yes there are/were two) at Yomuiriland!
  3. omg ~ sweet dreams ~ Annette And I'm still getting over Ebert. EDIT TO Add: And now Peter REVEEN ~ Master of Illusion!
  4. I miss Williard's Whizzer. EDIT to add...And Zambezi Zinger, though I know it's in another country, now. Am glad I got to ride both of them - back then, lol.
  5. ^ Well, keep this in mind, and hope that it stays fairly true to the artwork. And a fountain, too! This will be awesome even if it looks 1/2 of what this artwork (Thank you Disney) represents.
  6. ^ For myself, Ocean Park wasn't as shaded on it's pathways like HKDL was. But OP now has a themed funicular train to get up to the top of the park, unlike always having to use the gondolas, which can be fairly "humid" inside, like it was when we used them. There is also a lot of walking to do without shortcuts at OP. I liked Ocean Park, just wish it had been less hot and humid the day we were there. And more trees for shade. And honestly, HKDL puts a lot more thematic atmosphere around you, depending which 'land' you are in. Hope that helps.
  7. There's a difference between coasting through a water mist like Oblivion, and having water shot right at you, like (Wet)Bandit did, in Yomuiriland*. Still great both ways, but with WetBandit you knew what was coming - sort of, lol. (*Not to mention a HUMONGOUS Fire Hose blasting at you, before returning to the station.)
  8. I loved it. Could have gone on it a few more times, too. Definitely a classic, IMhO. I love Jet Stars... 1, 2, or 3. Wish we had ours back at Playland. Great video, Robb!
  9. Aw Robb, now you've made me want to go back. NOW.
  10. The flat ride reminded me of the incredibly INSANE one at SpaceWorld in Japan. We rode it in 2007, but it was gone by the 2011 tour. Still...never wanted to ride that version/cycle of it every again. Way too intense. That said I saw the cycle of this one, and decided "No, not again" lol. As for this coaster., it looks great. Did we ride it last Sept? Don't remember. There were a couple of big coasters in maintenance, at a couple of parks, but that was okay. Had to be done.
  11. And now ~ here's a peek at my upcoming "Photo TR: TPR Mexico Tour"... The Agave fields, close to The City of Tequila, Mexico. Toured the fields, and then how to make...Tequila, OLE!
  12. ^ You think Disney would waste a merchandising opportunity like this?
  13. Pfffft. Kidtums is an amazing TROOPER. I hope she doesn't suddenly turn anti-themepark/coasters with the parents in those....teenage revolting years?
  14. Very cool to see, close up.
  15. I love reading about it, since I "rode" the first incarnation of the attraction, back as the add-on for the 2006 TPR UK Tour. Knowing what it was before - this is going to be great to see it at present.
  16. Looks really nice. "Some year".... ...I'll finally get there and try it out for myself.
  17. Disney & More posted recent construction photos of Ratatouille, with the facades on the buildings (show, restaurant, gift) being started on. Excitement! The overall look with the show building in back. The main entrance of "Kitchen Kalamity", with those lovely trackless vehicles. (o: And the restaurant will be on the left (Gusteau's?), with a gift shop in there (maybe on the right?) as well.
  18. ^ Everything i have read lately, just says "in May." There could be soft openings of the attraction, but I have no idea how much ahead of the Opening Day they would plan that. Too bad you're not visiting in June.
  19. Yes! Shout out and Thank You to Mikey! Your last prepping for us was invaluable. Really part of my entire First Time Ever in this thing, LOL! Worth every constriction and OMG-ness, LOL! Hugs and squeezes to you, buddy! Mikey Left - Karl Right - our last evening drunk together.
  20. On a Chiquita banana label... "Yum Yum Potassi-Yum!"
  21. Can't wait to ride it..... next year.
  22. Me and Betty did the SkyCoaster - My First Time Too. Amazing rush. But then, things started getting tight around my chest, as we slowed down in our swinging back and forth. I panicked a bit, but got myself to breath slowly and not think of....throwing up over the guys catching us, HA! But - can't believe KidTums does/did it! Very outgoing kid, she is. And I think the parents have 'some influence', hmmm? WAYTOGO Kristen!
