Game: When was the last time you...

Late June, 2013 at Tokyo Disney Resort - forget which park, lol Although, during the TPR Scandi tour last summer, here and there. we got fastpass-like things to allow us to "jump the queue" so to speak. When was the last time you had prime rib for dinner? -

^ Is Dick's still on Broadway in Seattle? And also down near the Seattle Center as well? Best part of getting stuff (for myself) from Dick's was late at night, when the bars closed and everybody was heading home. The humanity there at that time was truly eclectic, LOL! -
Happy Birthday! To the least number of TPR members (7) I know, having a birthday today! Congrats guys! Best Wishes Always ...To All 7 of You!

I visited the south end of City Park, where the Museum of Art was, as they had this amazing tour of Faberge' Eggs on display at the time (1994)! The carousel area of it was pretty small and not much of anything to make it a rides park. But the landscaping and greenery was everywhere and so lush, it didn't matter. Didn't tour the north end of the park, as it was pretty much all golf courses, lol. A family coaster added to the area will definitely improve it, especially for the kids. -

At least 1/3 of the coasters in China. (Actually I posted this on pg.14, but it bears repeating ) -

^^^ This is great! Thanks for finding the refurbs. We were wondering what might be closed when we were there near the end of September. IAsW we won't miss much; not being able to walk through Adventure Isle will be a bit of a nuisance; riding the new refurb of Space Mountain will be (we hope) exciting and retro AND smooth; riding Thunder Mtn. before it goes into refurb will still a great ride, I hope. Great! -

I'm not trying to pigeon hole this, but is this happening only in the US parks? Or is it happening around the world, like in Europe, as well? -
^ Seeing Into The Woods this coming week. I saw the original stage musical (Bernadette Peters was awesome as The Witch!) in New York in 1988. Know it inside out, so whatever the changes in the last third, it will be interesting to compare notes, heh. That said, taking a computer break. Watching FROZEN for the umpteenth time.

Actually, since I already accidently double posted, might as well use this space for for Armchair Imagineering... As an Add-on, to the previous post - And the soundscape for the entire coaster portion would be echoes of "Let It Go," finally darkening in tones and sounds as Elsa freeks out, then gets taken back to Arendelle... And putting dark parts into it, may sound like a rehash of the Snow White attraction thing,. But these children are much smarter nowadays. And they know and love this film inside out. So they get it, and know what'll be coming. Arendelle works perfect into that corner of TDS. (the "Frozen" film shot) -

^ Totally agree with this. And if they're going to spend that much money on a single attraction, then I am guessing (or hoping) that the ride system itself will be pretty awesome. And not like the re-do of Maelstrom at EPCOT, either. It might not even be trackless, too. Or, it's a combo dark ride and coaster sleigh (around, under, over and through Elsa's Ice Castle) ride. Can't wait for this one. -

^ Very impressive. When we rode it in 2002 I don't remember half the stuff inside the mountain to be seen. And that was only seven years after it opened! Same soundtrack though, which was wonderful. And I remember some of the made up shots they did to advertise the ride (the ones without track underneath). Great find! Thanks for sharing it. -

^ For your first post here, that's pretty amazing news. But... Until the concept art, and an Official Announcement happens, this is all still a rumor to me. And P.S. Elsa's ice castle is not a "port of call." Arendelle is. EDIT To Add: And the current incarnation of Arendelle in Story Book Land at DL is a perfect example model of how that corner of TDS could be done. With the show building behind (or inside) the hillside/mountains. -
^"The Time Machine" was the very first horror movie my parents took me to. Scared the stuffing out of me, lol! And then seeing him being the hero in "The Birds". And we didn't even recognize him in "Inglourious Basterds". RIP RT
