  1. Hundeprutten BonBon-Land (Holme-Olstrup, Sjælland, Denmark) TPR 2009 Scandi Tour. "Hundeprutten" = Dog Fart.
  2. ^ Too bad they don't have a "chicken exit" from Toy Story Mania, at the boarding area, in TDS. The queue is so cool, like you're really toy-sized in Andy's bedroom. As for Peter Pan, yeah I guess you could give that a pass.
  3. And then I just bought these, overseas.....Toy Story Mini Capsule Machines! On eBay of course. Bought all six of them, unopened. But what I really wanted, was the Pizza Planet one. I have no shame, really. (o;
  4. This is what I always think, when these polls become "USA heavy" with some coasters I know, that aren't really as awesome as several I have ridden on other continents. So why not have a Golden Ticket Overseas Award(s)? Or be honest and add the "USA" to it.
  5. They do not "compare". They are Superior Than.
  6. Damn, that must be frustrating. Taking decorations down, then the storm passes you by, thankfully, but then you have to (sort of) second guess when to put them back up. Kudos to the staff and people having to do this for the park.
  7. ^Isn't that scary about these..... people? They just don't notice...
  8. ^ If you haven't got it already, you should try and get her live act CD, at 54 Below.... Amazon.com ~ "You think you know three-time Tony Award Nominee Marin Mazzie from her recent show-stopping turn in BULLETS OVER BROADWAY, her corseted characters in RAGTIME and PASSION or maybe from the scene-chewing screwballs of KISS ME KATE and SPAMALOT... or possibly you thought you gained a glimpse of her as the star of NEXT TO NORMAL (heaven help us if that is really her in the guise of Margaret in CARRIE!). Come hear the real Marin Mazzie as she steps back into her formative years with an evening of fun and fantasy as we get inside the head of a Midwest girl and the music she loved." Review 'Marin Mazzie embodies the description 'all woman' more completely than almost anyone else on Broadway. An amusing, savvy show... she sets off sparks from the opening number.' --The New York Times https://www.amazon.com/Make-Your-Own-Kind-Music/dp/B00WMCOQS6/ref=sr_1_4?s=music&ie=UTF8&qid=1537051424&sr=1-4&keywords=marin+mazzie&dpID=61m37QmpDxL&preST=_SY300_QL70_&dpSrc=srch (Of course, at this time now, it's Temporarily Out of Stock.) I expect that there is a big sales surge now, on whichever CDs Marin has sung on or with. So IMhO....Buy "Carrie" NOW! https://www.amazon.com/Carrie-Musical-Premiere-Cast-Recording/dp/B008VTRJQ0/ref=sr_1_2?s=music&ie=UTF8&qid=1537051704&sr=1-2&keywords=carrie&dpID=61sF1XJBJ6L&preST=_SY300_QL70_&dpSrc=srch My "OMGomgOMGomg...Insanely Brilliant!" Review of it is on the last page (5) of Reviews. And the review is still true today, nearly 6 years later. Thankfully, we have her wonderful voice on so many CDs. On and Off Broadway; Concept musical albums... awesome!
  9. Best Theme Park In The World = Tokyo DisneySea. Poll closed. Best Amusement Park In The World = I really have no idea.
  10. Yes, the one at West Edmonton Mall. Have you ever lost something, and then months later, suddenly found it?
  11. Expedition GeForce Holiday Park (Hassloch, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany) TPR 2008 Europe Tour.
  12. ^ Blame everybody on the previous page.
  13. Back to Playland(PNE) for season closing weekend. This weekend. In the rain. Just to add a bit of wet salt to the bland popcorn: After Fright Nights, and I will be attending one, Playland goes silent for half a year. Never re-opens earlier than May, if then.
  14. Kristen, how was your latest theme park tour? And did you enjoy one coaster the best of the tour?
  15. One Way Or Another Blondie ~ Happy 40th for the album this song is on! ~
  16. Great question on the radio! How would you explain the word, RUN? Apparently, it's not as easy, as one would think. There are over 460 different explanations of the word "run."
  17. ^ I read that somewhere else, too. Quite - the - rumor. Would be awesome, if it's true. Guess we'll have to wait till/if Disney announces anything. I'm exited, too! (o; Art concept of (ShDL's?) ZOOTOPIA from the article. (o: Architect-Geek in me: It will be a pretty awesome, amazing, DUBAI-SIZED, multi-show building!
  18. This one is really sad for me. Marin Mazzie, Platinum-Voiced Tony Nominee of Passion & Ragtime, Dies at 57 "Marin Mazzie, the beloved Broadway star who lent a powerful balance of drama and comedy to a variety of roles on Broadway, died on September 13 in New York City, according to The New York Times. The cause of death was ovarian cancer. Mazzie was 57. Mazzie turned heads when she originated the role of Clara in Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's musical drama Passion (1994), earning her first Tony nomination as Best Featured Actress in a Musical. A few years later, Mazzie introduced the role of Mother in Ragtime (1998), a musical version of E.L. Doctorow's iconic novel adapted by Terrence McNally, Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty. The show netted Mazzie another Tony nom, as Best Leading Actress in a Musical. Mazzie struck gold again with a comedic turn as Lilli Vanessi/Katharine in a Broadway revival of the Cole Porter-scored musical Kiss Me, Kate (1999). The production earned Mazzie another Tony nod as Leading Actress in a Musical. She later reprised her acclaimed performance in London, earning a 2002 Olivier nomination. In 2010, Mazzie and real-life husband Jason Danieley replaced in the roles of married couple Diana and Dan Goodman in Broadway's Next to Normal. In addition to this shared stage turn, the couple regularly performed cabarets at venues including midtown's Feinstein's/54 Below. Mazzie and Danieley met in 1996 while rehearsing the play Trojan Women: A Love Story; they married in 1997. Mazzie's additional Broadway credits include Man of La Mancha (2003), Spamalot (2008), Enron (2010), Bullets Over Broadway (2014) and The King and I (2016), which marked her last Broadway credit. Her off-Broadway work included roles in And the World Goes 'Round (1991), The Vagina Monologues (1999), Carrie (2012) and her final New York stage turn, McNally's Fire and Air (2018). In 2017, Mazzie was inducted into the Theater Hall of Fame." ************************************************** I wanted to post all of the obit from http://www.Broadway.com ~ She had a wonderful voice, and one of the best "acting voices" around. I think one of my most favourite parts she played, was that of the Mother in the Off-Broadway (smash) production of CARRIE. "When There's No One" is still a chilling haunting song to me, sung by her in that production. I never got to see her live onstage, unfortunately, but that doesn't stop me from appreciating what a truly special gift she had....and was. She will be missed a lot. "Bullets Over Broadway" 2014. Taking bows, with Molly Ranson, in "Carrie" 2012.
  19. Man, you're so lucky to be so close to parks like SDC, Andrew! I have Fright Nights coming up in Playland, but honestly there's no comparison when it comes to Seasonal Theming and Events in parks like this one. #GreenEnvyHERE
  20. History Repeating Shirley Bassey & The Propellerheads
  21. A couple of what I call "PullBacks" arrived today, along with one of what I call "WindUps"... The two Toontown vehicles are the Pullbacks. Pull 'em back, and then let 'em go! The Mini-Monorail (with Chip, Clarice, and Dale on board) is wound up...then let it go! All Capsule Toys on eBay. And the two join my PullBack Transit Steamer (from TDS) I also have. The fronts.
