  1. Great shots, there. Thanks for finding and posting them.
  2. Found this photo, that read.... "Current situation in East Van"
  3. That's how I have felt, every visit I have done to the place, with TPR Tours. Once each attraction is ridden, it's rare I wanted to re-ride anything. Except (then) Space Fantasy, and I would use the single rider queue, avoiding all the pre-show, lol. And Jaws. Yeah, I would re-ride that just to hear a new "driver" of our tour boat.
  4. ^ Thanks for the correction. Still, for GhostRider alone, it's worth switching the days. The night before I went to Knott's, before attending WCB. Sept.09-2016 EDIT: One more pic wouldn't hurt. Same night. Same trip.
  5. A very celebrated Canadian CBC journalist, Joe Schlesinger just passed away, at the age of 90. He reported on everything from Vietnam War, to the Berlin Wall coming down, and everything in between. Sweet man, and very compassionate about his home country.
  6. *Two High* Moon Taxi
  7. "Falling In Love Again" Marlene Dietrich (1930)
  8. ^ Yes, have a second adult traveling with you, so you can "baby swap" on (maybe) some of those attractions, you mentioned. Otherwise, what the heck are you planning to do with "toddler" when you want to ride Tower of Terror? Take him/her along? Don't think so.
  9. "And Nearly One Hour Later After That..." It starts to reflect the blue of the bldg.behind it. Cool!
  10. ^ Well, if you really want to ride those that are closed on week days... you change your week day visit to the Saturday, and get a (their paid version of) FastPass if you think the crowds will be bigger...which they probably will be.
  11. Compared to other parts of North America, this isn't that much, but.... We got/are still getting SNOW!!! (Photos taken less than five minutes ago...) Looking out to our back yard. And over past the upper deck. Front yard and beyond. Looking down the block.
  12. ^ And what would make this an Ultimate OMG! would be DVDs of both productions, eventually available. (And I actually wrote, in Steve's Christmas card, that he/they'd be fools NOT to put COMPANY on a CD, at least. So on his birthday card in March, I'll ask/PLEAD with him about a DVD for either production, although he did tell me before, the one for FOLLIES probably won't happen, due to so-many-UK-unions involved, and all. Butcha never know, right? And there has been 3 DVD recordings of COMPANY: The Video of the Making of The Orig.Cast Album {whew}; the minimalist Company w/Raul Esparza; and the Concert Version w/Neil Patrick Harris/Patti LuPone)
  13. "With or without you."
  14. ^ Cool, good to know, thanks! Ah yes, that yummy Knott's Bakery cake display case! Sept.2016 ...And they had a Halloween one, too! In early September! (same display case)
  15. ...And if getting the recent London production of FOLLIES on CD(s) is awesome enough.... This is now available in digital and streaming. CD to be eventually realeased.
  16. I'm curious about the TAKE OUT place there, between the Restaurant and the (yum) Knott's Bakery. Does it stay open later than the Restaurant, or does it have the same hours as the Marketplace....? It certainly made taking Mrs. Knott's chicken (plus everything else) easier, back to the Hotel room. Me riding a ride, while David guards our Mrs. Knott's Take Out Chicken. Sept.1975
  17. ^ Great! Never tried the Silver Spur, and Five Guys wasn't built yet, when we were last there (2015). Both worth looking into, when we return in a few years from now. I did get Five Guys' location figured out, once it opened. (o; Thanks Disney and DLPToday.
  18. ^ Did you have any nice meals while you were there? Or not-that-nice? I know there used to be a seafood buffet available at the Newport Bay Hotel, and I am hoping to try it when we eventually get back there. And we loved Remi's Bistro, on our last visit to DLPR, so that will probably be a repeat visit, too. Or any great snacks you discovered?
  19. .... and I just convinced myself to put up $100 (Cdn) for a mezz. front row balcony seat to what I call an "add-on show" that isn't part of our Season Subscription..... WICKED. It has been a long long time, since I saw any show that far away from the stage. I think the last time was a tour of The Full Monty, and that was the utmost top of the balconies! Then all of us who bought those cheapest (last row) seats, moved all the way to the front row of that upper balcony, because nobody else bought those front row seats, lol. And it was a great show, too! And since we have already seen two great touring productions of Wicked, from our usual seats in Centre Orchestra, I just wanted to see it again, but from a "different angle." So I got me a ticket, not to be used until July 9th.............2020. (And remind myself to borrow David's binoculars, when I go.)
  20. I just found out...they're releasing a Cast CD for The National Theatre's production of FOLLIES! This was the production that was broadcast world-wide, on cinema screens, over a year ago. Release date to be announced. The original National Theatre company of FOLLIES. "Beautiful Girls"
