Disney Quest Reborn! I know I know, it's totally different. Still, it reminds me of DQ a bit. The future plans read great, and the art concepts look really nice. P.S. It's been so long, I really don't remember, but....are the Body Wars simulators still there at the back of the Wonders of Life building? If so, maybe there's a re-purpose in them somehow, with this new pavilion concept? And the Cranium Command theater too, I guess? If not, is there still a bunch of space back there to work with? Just curious. EDIT: Just found a recent photo of the Guardians/Galaxy construction, showing the 2 show buildings still attached to back of the WoL pavilion. -

Mmmm ads for Drum Kits and...and.....Croation cruises. And I l also like "Fill Your heart with IRELAND" And I enjoy the TPR Video 'ad' up there in the corner, too.

Hmmm. Yeah, well there ya go. But honestly, they're all str8 ads! C'mon!!!

^ Cool. I also want to now say, the ads involving obvious sexual "acts" are printed pretty obviously, in your face. IMhO, I don't think these ones are necessary, to be involved with what you have set up now, Robb. I 'x' them out and say they are inappropriate for this site. Regardless what is posted here, by it's members. By the way, I also find it curious why some of these ads have the 'x' option, but other ads don't have it?

Decades ago. They aren't very close to where we live, and I know it had to be on a U.S. Midwest trip. Years and years ....and years ago. When was the last time you took a prescribed pill/medicine? -
Personal Trivia The month of December, 1971 is the total time of my entire - current - life, where I have lived alone. By myself. Without anyone else. Without parents or room mate(s) or a partner. Things that make you go HMMMM after so many decades.

HKDL just released more info. on the new Ant Man / Wasp attraction, opening at the end of March. They also included a few interior photos of it, which look nice and dark and Marvel-ish! And it's looking more and more like HKDL will be The First DL to have a truly realized Marvel Land. Once their Major Attraction (taking over the Autopia footprint) opens in 2023? ....After we took the Tunnel! (o: Round and Round we're going...

Classic ride Kangaroo /Flying Coaster?
Nrthwnd replied to tanthonyam's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
And actually, that Rides Map has a mistake on it, as the ROTOR that is noted on it, is wrong. What was actually in that spot, was an early version of the Haunted Swing! And I actually remember seeing, from an angle, past the front facade of it, and actually seeing that yellow house go "round and round, upside down"... I also did not choose to ride this one either, at The Fair. I now regret it, as I now love those rides. Simple ones and EPIC themed ones, all of them! Little Yellow (swinging) House, right behind another (now) classic ride at The 1962 Fair... Flight To Mars. -

Classic ride Kangaroo /Flying Coaster?
Nrthwnd replied to tanthonyam's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
There was actually a version of this ride, at the 1962 Seattle World's Fair! Truth. And there has been found a TON of photos of the Gayway that had this ride, but none taken (that I can find) of this ride, from a direct viewpoint. In all the photos the Calypso hides most of it, and beyond it, you can make out the go-kart attraction. Here's what I got from one black and white pic. And it did JUMP like a kangaroo, taking off and then landing on it's single tire under the ride vehicle. Looked rough to me, and at age 9... and I didn't want to ride it, at - all. EDIT!!! And I just found a "Gayway Map" during the 1962 World's Fair, and the ride in question was called the ...I love this.....Flying Coaster! There it is! Thank you NET for the photo.
