  1. Separating lotions from conditioners is such a drag.
  2. Broadway Rants: Take.....Whatever. Two things that still annoy me to this day... #1 In the new TONYs CD for the 2018-2019 Season, they include a number from King Kong: The Musical. But so far, no original cast album has been announced, etc. What gives King Kong Company? Grrrr. #2 Second rant is an older one. First "She" got her first TONY nom for this musical. And "she's" sill a great musical actress is, Jessie Mueller is. So what gives with no "On A Clear Day You Can See Forever" CD? I have bought cast cds on shows that lasted less than one week. This musical revival went on for several months, before it closed. AND that TONY nomination, hmmm? So...? Grrrr. EXTRA Rant! Kiss Me, Kate! has been streaming for - e - ver! When's that CD coming out, HMMM? (The Best Number on this year's TONY CD Collection... Truth! Along side KING KONG's one number, included.) The Harry Connick, Jr. REVIVAL of "...Clear Day...". With Ms.Mueller (not exactly) front, and center. Something from KING KONG is on this annual CD, but other than that....? "Too Darn Hot" from Kiss Me, Kate! is also on it. But soon....a CD? Please??? The TOO DARN HOT number was awesome on this year's TONYs! A BIG REMINDER cd wise...
  3. Easy. Boysenberrys from Knott's Berry farm.
  4. Two more snack cases are to be released, beginning of November. One for the Tokyo Disney Electrical Parade in TDL, and the other for Fantasmic! in TDS. I wish they had put some white on the Fantasmic! container. Where the stars are, the moon, etc? I am just getting the Electrical Parade one. That's enough for me, for now. Both available November 1st in the parks.
  5. I'm just so glad there's Disney Skyrides/Liners, back in our lives.
  6. 'Tis the Season......boo. Sept.10/11. DCA. Orange track made me think of this. Dunno why...
  7. New Castle photo posted, by HK Main Street Gazette. A "crane" is a symbol of Good Luck, right?..... Right?
  8. Bullet is such a unique coaster.....I hope it's not too neglected by this time.
  9. ^ I believe, that everybody, like Canada, was just being polite, and not bringing it up.
  10. ^ Chic-A, Chic-A, Chic-A....hmmm? Or, am I wrong? (Pardon this sidebar) One of the few pins I picked up, this visit. All from Disney. None from Knott's.
  11. ^ You are definitely a HANDS UP! kinda guy, Bert. Here's a shot that David took of me in DL (Sept.09/19), taking a photo of... The Blue Milk. "Tourists that make you go hmmmmm?", hmmm? Idiot Tourist (DM) And here's The Shot, damnit!
  12. ^ Best Fried Chicken franchise, as far as we're concerned (IOhO*). (And we've had fried chicken across North America, franchise-wise) *In Our humble Opinion.
  13. ^ Wait'll you see the pizza we got, later on at Amber Waves. The chicken was moist, tender and good. But the skin wasn't as "fried" as we were used to, with Church's Chicken at home. No matter, it was good, the sides were great and we had that awesome tart there, for dessert. Knott's Marketplace is great, for general souvenir buying and gift buying, instead of in the park itself. And there's the Take Out Chicken, the Bakery, Candy Shop...I can go on and on. It's all great and casual, once you're inside one of the shops. Guess where? And we get there, eventually. We have a reservation! (o:
  14. X2 Six Flags Magic Mountain (Valencia, California, United States) I rode it. Meh.
  15. ^ Yeah it was quite the "Weather Wallop" we got hit with our first days there. And going over to Disney Resort, we didn't have the luxury of being able to just stroll back to our hotel room, mid-day. Knott's Hotel shuttle schedule wasn't enough to make that kind of decision. And they wanted you to reserve your day and time in advance, which was okay at first. But by the time we'd done a half day in Disneyland, we had to change our shuttle time back to the hotel. We weren't going to make it for an (gulp) 11:20pm pick up. And after we did change it (down to 7:20) and got back to the hotel, we immediately re-thought the rest of the week out, re: new shuttle times to do, going there and coming back, etc. In the end, we didn't get to see Fantasmic! or the Main Street Electrical Parade in DL, but that was okay. And the temp. didn't get as high as our first day at Knott's, until our last day at Disney. Another 95'F but less humid, much drier, and somewhat easier to take. Somewhat. Our First "Day Off" On The Trip! Every trip I do now, I try to include at least one "day off" where the hotel can be enjoyed on it's own, and other non-park stuff can be enjoyed. Like Knott's swimming pool, the Marketplace for gift buying, and eventually, getting a To Go Order of Mrs.Knott's Fried Chicken! Which we enjoyed back in our hotel room. And I lay off taking a lot of photos that day, too. Not many taken, but a few here to see... P.S. On our way to the Marketplace, we saw that Ghostrider was running again. Hopefully it will run Sunday on our second day there. Good place to start shopping. Many, many taffys... ...Including this one. It was 'okay.' Tasted more waffle than chicken. What we bought for our self, and those taking care of Stella (our cat) at home. Yep, still going strong. And for our evening meal... Two much for just the two of us. So... We got the "A La Carte" 3 piece, with an extra piece. But this is not A La Carte. (See above.) All - that - chicken. Ta daaah! Chicken In A Box! Then we saw these in the bakery next door.... ...and this. Hmmmm. Back at the hotel, we unpack the goods. All for under $17. Not a bad deal. Everything was good. I did miss having fries with the chicken, though. Nom nom nom. And our 1st Day Off was nearly done! (A night swim, and then a few more beers in the hotel bar.)
  16. Diahann Carroll R.I.P. First African American actress to play lead in her own tv show ("Julia" 1968). Also played Norma Desmond in Canadian tour of "Sunset Boulevard". And "that part" (Desiree'?) in the tv original, DYNASTY.
  17. New burger at Fatburger Canada.....
  18. ^ Oh cool. We took a look inside it, but didn't eat there. and this description... We're so used to what Disneyland Paris has (the in-the-back enclosed Arcades), that it's a bit of a challenge to accomplish the same thing in Disneyland. It can be done, but there are a few obstacles (like the Cafe) that block a through-line in the Disney shops. The same happens on the other side with the Marketplace, but it has a back entry from a shop, so that's good. Photo by mouseinfo.com
  19. Just a question but, where in Disneyland (or DCA) does one find Walt's Chili? I have no idea, so I thought I'd ask. We did have the Monte Cristo Sandwich and Jambalaya in the Blue Bayou, and both were delicious! Sept.09/19.
  20. BIG P.S! If you really REALLY want to get the DOLE WHIP at the stall in Adventureland (front of Tiki Room) DO NOT GO THERE. Go past it, and when you can turn left, do it. You'll enter the new Terrace they've opened AND have not one but several Dole Whips to have and enjoy. Big Happy New Discovery of ours. We couldn't believe the lineup at the original spot, and we actually told a couple about the new place, just after we spotted them leaving the queue in disgust - because of The Queue's Length. They were most thankful to learn that. And when we were in the Jungle Cruise queue, we saw them exiting the place, with a Big Bowl of the stuff, sharing. It was sweet. And there's a big sign up there on the roof that sorta tells you, too. (o; From one of our three visits there. A "Swirl."
  21. That whole area of AK sounds like it's really in need of a re-do, not including Dinosaur! for now. And it should be like the way they totally plussed up Fantasyland in DL back in 1983. But take out the flat rides and create some new original rides, etc. And a total re-theme with new backstory would probably help it, too. My 7 cents.
  22. ^ Oga's was great in DL, when we visited. The cocktails are pricey but that was a given, to us. And it was noisy, as a bar like this should be. Hope you have a great time in the times you visit the place. And then there's REX as your Cantina DJ, too! (o: (Oga's in DL, Sept.12/19)
  23. Yes. Do you stay through the credits of (most) movies you see in a theatre?
