  1. Nessie Hansa Park (Sierksdorf, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany) The Dark Brown Track ~ It's in there! TPR 2014 Scandi Tour
  2. ^ Call me a silly optimistic guy, I guess. If nothing comes of such a thing, that's cool. And as I said before, we aren't planning to get over there until 2025. So anything can happen, until then!
  3. Jetline Gröna Lund (Stockholm, Stockholm, Sweden) TPR 2014 Scandi Tour.
  4. ^ Nice on the wheels, and the ride! Maybe I will re-ride it, if ever I get back to MM.
  5. ...And I might as well remind everybody about SpongeBob too.... Best Day Ever! "The SpongeBob Musical: Live on Stage" Sets December Airdate on Nickelodeon ~ Broadway.com Saturday, December 7th ~ 7pm ET https://www.broadway.com/buzz/197611/best-day-ever-the-spongebob-musical-live-on-stage-sets-december-airdate-on-nickelodeon/ ^ The LINKed article also has a great little preview video of the broadcast, in it. Ethan Slater (SpongeBob) and his onstage gang do a TV version of The Broadway Musical! (o:
  6. ^ I never got the chance to see it live onstage. And I love the Brdwy Cast Recording of it! Seeing this will help, and maybe in a future touring season, Vancouver will get to see it LIVE onstage, too. And Hey Robb!.....this is coming your way in a week or so...and for everybody else who is interested... it's not live onstage, more "Live ONSCREEN", but it still boasts a pretty stunning lead cast for it. https://us.lesmisconcert.com/ These three male leads are all phenomenal singers; only Fletcher(Fantine) is the 'unknown' voice, for me.
  7. Chips. Beethoven or Mozart?
  8. To ADD to The Above ^..... On closer inspection of this table model of FS, the Tangled attraction definitely looks to be a boat ride with a turn table load/unload you can "just" make out, by the Tangled Tower. And there is still space between the rumored Arendelle Restaurant, and the Frozen Attraction show building, if you look closely. I still maintain, that there is going to be some kind of transport connection to the two parks, done only with 3 & 4 day park (hopper) tickets. Just like Universal and the Hogwarts Express between it's two parks. And the Disneyland station would be "roughly" between + beyond the Beauty/Beast show building, and Toontown's Gadget's Coaster area. It could work. And yes, I totally geek out, on Disney Parks' Attractions stuff. P.S. All subject to rumor, and/or change. "Planning For 2025!" Tangled, close up. The area is also on the other side of the walkways, thus opposite Peter Pan's Neverland and not on the same side of, as previously thought. Between the Table Service and the Show Building, there is an interesting 'rectangle' in place, and rather flat, between the two. Hmm. A Transport Station, perhaps? (o;
  9. "So Long, Marianne" ~ Leonard Cohen (live version)
  10. ^ Re: Polar Plunge. You're all nuts! But have a great time.
  11. A still shot of a current model of the new Fantasy Springs in TDS, was posted today. It's part of the latest episode of "The Imagineering Story". Thank you to whoever posted it, with the labeling done, over it. (o:
  12. Gobble, Gobble.
  13. We just came back from seeing FROZEN II earlier...and I am honestly conflicted about it. This sequel was definitely story driven. Very intensely at times. The songs were strong, a couple were fun. But... My problem was that David and I were in the theater with three other pairs of people, and a few children. All spread out, throughout the big theater. We were front and center, of the front section's back row (if that makes sense). Stuff that was obviously funny, I found hearing myself laughing out loud and nobody else. Wierd. Then there was the emotional stuff, and I found myself so isolated from the movie....because there were only a few people in the audience. And children so young, I kept wondering how the heck they ever got anything out of it, except for maybe, Olaf? Still, felt off to me. So, I want to see it again, but this time, NOT in IMAX. In 3D and on a regular sized screen, downtown. I actually did that with the first Frozen. I saw that one twice, because I just loved that Elsa Transformation on the big screen. Anyway we'll see, till then... To Be Continued. SPOILER ALERT Although the revival of Olaf was a real tear-jerker, to us .
  14. ^ Well, it's raining like heck there, now. Guess they closed, earlier. Happy Thanksgiving! Gobble, Gobble.
  15. ^^ Mt.Shasta was cool to see and we got as many photos as we could, once there was enough clearance. and ^ Thanks, Bert. And of course, there's MORE to show! My Onride Photos and our Souvenirs coming up! There were only two photos of me/us "onride" which I liked. Us on ToT (bottom left corner), and myself "reacting" on Space Mountain. I definitely liked the Space Mtn. one, as the older person behind me, managed to get herself out from behind me and get her photo, too! As far as David's Souvenirs go, he really only had one he really wanted to get: the Mickey Mouse Bubble Maker! There was also one with Ariel on it, but this one he really REALLY wanted...and got. And extra bubble liquid, too. Here's a small video of it going bubble crazy, heh. P.S. We did share in "edible souvenirs" (lots of stuff from Knott's), but this Souvenir was "personal." MVI_1842.MOV PARDON IF THIS DOESN'T WORK FOR EVERYBODY. How it looks, not 'on'. It's on. No bubbles. That's the upper switch.
  16. Love one of the posters on the construction walls around the new powered coaster. I liked it!
  17. Oooo I just got a little chills seeing that photo.
  18. UGH on that burger. You should post it in the Burger Thread, as "one NOT to get" lol.
  19. Not exactly donuts, but hey - still pretty nice stuff. Two pairs (of an original 3 prs) of macarons we got from our Granville Island Market shop, Bon Macaron. Very fresh. Flavorful, too. http://www.bonmacaronpatisserie.com/ Left: Orange Mango. Right: Candied Pecans. A box of six = $9 cdn.
  20. Life On Mars ~ Bowie
  21. Eejanaika / ええじゃないか Fuji-Q Highland (Fujiyoshida, Yamanashi, Japan) TPR 2013 Japan Tour.
  22. One Day Left of Traveling On The Train......3-1/2 hrs. Late Yes, it eventually worked out to that much time we were off, from the usual schedule. Besides the freight train accident the previous evening, and because there was a lot of time spent on the tracks, waiting to move on... train personnel had to be changed "somewhere along the line," we were told. A designated spot was picked and we were at it, an hour or so, more. Eventually we got back to Seattle. But instead of the usual large bus (with bathroom) to take us up to Vancouver, there was a small white van waiting. With no bathroom. Turns out there was only 5 of us traveling back north. But still, a "Bathroom Break" had to be called by a couple of us, at the last rest stop before we hit the border. That done, we sailed into the Canadian Border just before 3am. And there were five officers waiting for us! Compare that, to when we first bused down on the trip, arrived at the American Border around 6:15am...and had to wait at least 20 minutes, before one officer arrived and instructed us what to do. What a difference! Got back to where we started (at 3:30am instead of midnight), got a taxi and headed to home. And the cat. And life in general, as we know it. Sunrise. In the wrong spot. Instead of where we were supposed to be, 3-1/2 hrs. along. But, Mount Shasta could be seen at this earlier time. I keep forgetting what this mound of dirt is called. Anybody? David tried the mussels for lunch. He shared. They were good. Ahhhhh baby mussel! We started to get rain along the way. Noted. I like how some companys' buildings along the train route, make it a little nicer to look out at. (o: Very nice. This was neat to see, too. And this. There was a running fountain in there, somewhere. Albany. 3-1/2 hours late. Or thereabouts. Portland OR. Last shot of the trip. Traveling over the Columbia R. into Washington State. Almost home.
  23. Sugar, Butter, Flour.
  24. Firework ~ From the new Broadway Musical "Moulin Rouge" followed by Your Song.
