  4. (less than) Two Months till Playland's OPEN! FINALLY http://www.pne.ca View of all the PNE Grounds, including Playland (lower right, beside the playing field).
  5. ^^ I remember there one being in Kentucky Kingdom, back in the mid-90s. I was in Chicago for a 1995 convention, then headed down to stay with a friend near the park. And we made it a day there, way back then. EDIT: Found it! ..... Also back then... original T2 newly open. Took this photo of it back in 1995 visit. Found out it was The First One of these SLCs in the U.S.A. And we loved it!....back then. (o;
  6. Gaawwwwwwd I really REALLY want to go to this event in the not-too-distant.... All of the food and beverages being offered, look awesome, as is usual with this Knott's foodie event! Thanks (and my gut says 'no thanks') for posting all you got about it.
  7. ^ I've never actually tried one, but I still can't get past the fact that it's two donuts with a meat burger between them. It just doesn't work for me. However - your creation does - look - a may - ZING!
  8. ...and to be continued.... I just discovered there was an additional "vehicle" in this Carnival Collection of Hot Wheels. And the set actually dates back to 2018! Interesting. Anyway, I decided to buy this whole set (on Amazon) that was being offered, instead of them separately. Finding the Steamer kind of clinched the deal, for me. (o;
  9. It's a sign! Of something good for your good deed, helping your co-worker. Something to do with the Number '5'. Just saying.
  10. He heh, now this trackless vehicle attraction, is making me look more and more forward to TokyoDisney's Beauty & The Beast attraction, which is opening this April. (EDIT: Maybe a bit later, under current conditions/ circumstances.) And it would totally AWESOME if somehow, the DisneySea FROZEN attraction could be something like Resistance and Railway combined: trackless, at least two levels, and having spectacular projection mapping, throughout the ride.* Not just another "boat ride". *Just me wishin' and hopin'. Trackless 'R Us!
  11. And now, we continue with our program.... Do-Dodonpa / ド・ドドンパ Fuji-Q Highland (Fujiyoshida, Yamanashi, Japan) In the old days....before The Loop. TPR 2013 Japan Tour.
  12. The Tea On The Terrace looks like a lovely way to additionally enjoy the visit there.
  13. Hmmm. Wonder if Playland here in Vancouver, might postpone their opening in May? Too far away to speculate? Yeah, I know. Still... "things that make you go hmmm."
  14. Unfortunately, I still have to drag my Starbucks personal cup around, to prove I have one, so I can still get some cents off my purchase. Which honestly, is cool of them to still do. As long as I have the cup to prove it, lol.
  15. Totally agree with this. I rode it back in 2008 with one of the first TPR Tours around Europe. Check out our on-ride photo ~ we all pretty much hated it that day, LOL. Me in back; Hanno and Robb.
  16. Wouldn't/Couldn't they have one (or two) of those body dryer things nearby, and make some money off of drying you off? Just asking.
  17. Our original plans for visiting WDW in 2024, may now include an extra day, spent at the Studios. We've only been planning for two parks at the time - Animal Kingdom and EPCOT. But now..... and we'll plan for doing only Railway, Resistance, and Slinky that day, with anything else we can do, being 'extra'.
  18. I like it, that we really don't know everything inside of the show building. I mean, I have no idea how this attraction is laid out. Nothing leaked out... so far. (Except the ride vehicle, the animatronics, and the 'story' of it.)
  19. ^ Starbucks, and Safeway, and a nice pop up card from a mall store = $40 cdn
  20. ^ Since as far back as I can remember. It's a Starbucks cup, sure. Red, with the main logo on. Holds a Grande-size coffee drink. And you get 10 cents off your purchase, if you use one. But other people I've see, sometimes have their own, actual, personal coffee cup. Non-Starbucks theme. And they are usually getting just brewed coffee. Not the frappuccinos or lattes. EDIT to add: I think the "Alternate Title" is a better one, too. More TPR-ish. This is the one I have. Got it over the holidays a couple of years ago.
  21. ^^ Um, isn't Anaconda at Walygator Park a wooden coaster? I think the photo you posted, is of one of their steel coasters, Comet. Casey Jr., Le Petit Train du Cirque Disneyland Paris - Disneyland Park (Marne la Vallée, Île-de-France, France)
  22. Starbucks up here (maybe everywhere else too?) is only serving their beverages in their own cups. No personal cups are allowed to be used, at this time. And the beat goes on...
