  1. Worst restraints are those straitjackets on Volares, no contest. Best ones are B&M flying coasters. Most ergonomic restraints I have ever seen.
  2. Looks like the same selection as last year. I must say, the Hi Miler was quite intense.
  3. The first 'fanboy' question is the Ben and Jerry's right before the entrance to Collosus.
  4. It's the top secret add-on. Don't quote me, but I heard if you're at the park on the second Tuesday of next week at 9:00am, there's gonna be double secret ERT on EVERYTHING. WIN.
  5. ^ Dude, KI is in Ohio. I would suggest you read the thread title first: "Deep South" trip.
  6. What's wrong with the steering wheel??? Quick, someone fix it! Seriously, awesome TR. Mumbo Jumbo and Kumali look awesome.
  7. Is Beverly really that bad? I've heard some pretty bad things about it, but the truth is, if it's really that bad, it probably would've stopped production already.
  8. Anyone have an update on the freeway construction on the I-5? For Termination Day there were still some cones lying around.
  9. That's pretty cool! Now if only I can find a decent POV of Space Mountain...
  10. ^ I don't really see how that could be possible...I mean, guests don't really want to walk up 300 feet. EDIT: Never mind, it was Wes.
  11. For good or for bad, this is the one of the most *ahem* "interesting" projects that we've seen in a while.
  12. IMO California Screamin' is highly underrated. It's like a milder version of Maverick, and even with the trims, it provides oodles of airtime. The third 'scream tube' is a doozy.
  13. You might want to double check your facts. There are no computerized switches on the track; everything is mechanical. X2 has two sets of rails: the running rails and the "X" rails. The "X" rails are the ones that control the spin of the seats. Every seat is hooked up to a gear-and-pulley assembly that is, in turn, hooked up to the "X" rails. The "x" rails are a certain distance from the running rails, and this distances changes every so often. As the distance changes, since the seats are attached to the "X" rails, they move in conjunction with the change in distance. That's how the "4D" effect takes place.
  14. Wow...my respect for SSA's legitimacy just ratcheted up one notch.
  15. Reading is FUNdamental' date=' kids. [/quote'] I was just commenting that many people were speculating this was going to last longer than July 26.
  16. Are we talking permanent? I don't really think they can survive on $8.68 per person...
  17. If they had room, I would like to see it where Freefall was. That area looks so barren.
  18. Good to see that the Independence Day promotion was a success. Now if only they could pull that kind of crowd without bargain-basement prices...
  19. The Thomas Town upgrade is good news - hopefully this is but one step in the right direction.
  20. I just hope they keep the homage to the Mighty Microscope.
