  1. ^Well, Midway Mania was not actually supposed to be a major attraction from the start. And with the whole video screen thing-the early reviews coming out of WDW are VERY positive, and the general consensus is that the 3D effects do their job to diminish the whole video screen effect.
  2. I don't think that you can base your judgment on the video alone. Remember, the quality isn't terrific, we're missing out on a lot of the 3D stuff, and from my experience watching a YouTube video isn't the best way to experience an attraction. And for those that want to post that you can play this on your Wii, I ask this: Does you Wii have 3D technology, has the ability to move and spin, and have state-of-the-art video and surround sound? If you do, I want to know.
  3. Standing in line for X: "Is this the line for Viper?" Never mind that the entrance for Viper is on the OPPOSITE side of the pathway...
  4. Mr. Potato Head looks very awesome. From what I hear, the attraction itself will be very fast-paced.
  5. From the Associated Press: DISNEY TO ANNOUNCE THIRD GATE ANAHEIM-Disney Co. CEO and President Bob Iger announced today at the Grand Californian Convention Center that the world-famouse Disneyland Resort will soon include a third park, to be built on the site of the Convention Center, which will be moved to Fresno as the "Anaheim-Fresno Joint Convention Center". The new park will focus on the Latino culture in Southern California, and will be titled Disney's Latino-California Adventure. "We hope that this new park will set a new milestone in race-oriented parks for years to come. The folks at Disney are anxiously awaiting the groundbreaking of this new park"-set to begin in 2009. The construction of the new park will coincide with the Fourth Year of a Million Dreams, another item announced at the press conference. John Lasseter, Chief Creative Officer of Disney Co., said in a separate statement that "This will be a new focus and future for Disney." The new park is scheduled to open in late 2013, roughly coinciding with the huge influx of illegal immigrants that is projected to enter the United States. The park will open with approximately 30 attractions and shows, which are yet to be revealed. Jay Rasulo stated that "The new park will incorporate the latest special effects to draw the technologically challenged Latino market". Also, it was revealed that the new park will feature the biggest toy-manufacturing warehouse in the world, with tours available to the general public. This tour, titled "The Magic of Disney Toymaking", will delve into the world of toymaking as the guests see for themselves the joy of making plush toys. The tour is scheduled to open along with the park in late 2013. AP reporter Seung Park contributed to this report.
  6. The site and the content itself is fine, but sometimes it looks a little 'cluttered', you know? Maybe brighten up the site a little. Right now, the predominant shades are black and grey.
  7. I would definitely recommend at LEAST a half day at Disneyland. Also acquaint yourself with the Fastpass system, which will be a godsend on crowded days. Not to miss at Disneyland: Disneyland Park -Space Mountain -Indiana Jones Adventure -Matterhorn Bobsleds -Pirates of the Caribbean -Haunted Mansion California Adventure -Tower of Terror -California Screamin'
  8. nope-my favorite is Star Wars, the original. 1977. Did you eat pie today?
  9. I just watched Forrest Gump again last night. Great movie! This is the type of movie that really strikes your heart and lets you know what great movies should be.
  10. It's Eagle Fortress...not Eagle's Nest. Good overhead view anyway. It's amazing that the layout looks very bland, but when you're actually on it it's a whole different feeling.
  11. The trains look RAD. And the station looks like something out of a fairy tale. And the coaster looks awesome! Can't wait to ride it when I visit my relatives again.
  12. Thank you coaster gods for finally recognizing Eagle Fortress. My dad rode it the year it opened and he was in a permanent state of coma for about 10 days! I first rode it the year later, once I crossed the height barrier. The colors were more interesting then... Yay for Eagle Fortress!
  13. So I was in South Korea, and I had just gotten off the first Skycoaster built over there at Seoul Land and after that I stayed to watch other people's reactions, and man were they funny. A few clues: OH MY MOTHER%$^3 GOD!!! MY DEAR LORD JESUS CHRIST, WHO ART IN HEAVEN... AHHHHHH!!! The reactions were HILARIOUS. Seriously.
  14. ^haha evil. My friend's little brother believes that 'Montu' stands for 'Monster Two', since Kumba was 'Monster One'. Go figure...

  16. ^ With all due respect (again), I wasn't talking about spam; I was talking about bad spelling and grammar in general. Sorry if there was any misunderstanding.
  17. Same here. Although I had the good fortune to ride Timberland Twister, Goliath, Jr. keeps eluding me. Also, Pteranodon Flyers (when it was operating) also kept taunting me. ...other than kiddie coasters, not much, actually.
  18. ...you say you were there on a doctor's appointment? At Hersheypark? :? Anyway, this ride is going up fast. So sad that I won't be able to go out to the East Coast for a while.
  19. While riding Eagle Fortress @ Everland: Note: rough Korean translation. Dude: Why does Eagle Fortress have to be on a mountain? That's %^%ing lame. Dude 2: Yeah, I guess they forgot to cut down the mountain in this part. Note 2: I'm Korean, and lived in Korea until 1998...
  20. It really does infuriate me over at Westcoaster and CoasterForce when I see people spam, and I think that they aren't taken care of as well as here (which was one of the reasons why I joined). So...you don't have to worry about anything from me, as I absolutely HATE lol, rofl, omg, omfg, etc. etc. Boo to Internet lingo.
  21. Hey everyone! I've been reading TPR for a loooong time, really enjoy what you guys are up to. I'm 15, live in Anaheim, and as you might have been able to tell, an absolute fanboy of Disneyland! See you on the forums! -Seung
