Nice TR so far; your captioning skills are better than what you give them credit for. -

So it appears that the Paradise Bay water is darkening, whether from more dye, or just natural clouding, I don't really know, but the underwater stuff such as pipes and girders are less visible than they were when they first started pumping it in. http://mintcrocodile.smugmug.com/Theme-Park/Disneyland-Resort-102909/10134425_wZLYD#696714243_iFcJs-A-LB

I actually like both Space Mountains...the Disneyland version for its continuous buildup of speed and the onboard soundtrack. The WDW version for its "oh sh*t" feeling that I happen to love, and the seating arrange always appealed to me for some reason. Now back to our regularly scheduled discussion...

Presumably, because slowing the train down when it's going slower means less wear on the trim brakes, but I could be wrong. -
^ Journey to the Center of the Earth, one of the star attractions at Tokyo DisneySea, commonly shortened to 'Journey'. I know that I'm going to ride RSR when it opens, and I'm going to make a prediction on how it's going to compare with the other two same systems: 1. Journey 2. RSR 3. Test Track I don't know, but when I rode Test Track, it came off as kind of 'prototype'-ish...not that it was bad, but that it stopped short of a really great ride...as if the engineers were scared to push it all the way or something. Of course, with RSR, they have a ton of experience, and a lot more theming incorporated into it as well (they're basically theming a whole new land around a ride). So I'm pretty excited for it, and if I can make it on opening day, I sure as heck will.

HELP! Sudden trip to DisneyLand
The Disneylander replied to QueerRudie's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
It's going to be very, very, very busy. Also, parking is going to be a hassle -- get there early! Space Mountain is probably going to be mobbed because of the Halloween makeover, so make that a priority. Also: -Indiana Jones Adventure -Pirates of the Caribbean -Haunted Mansion -Matterhorn -Splash Mountain These are the must-rides...try to fit them in on your schedule. -

Thanks for starting off Season 3 with some awesome shots of my favorite park! Great start, Shane! Can't wait for your next installment. -
^ Look...have you considered option #2: that I'm not a fanboy, and that I'm actually telling the TRUTH? IMO, fanboys share certain characteristics: inability to spell, sticking their park in everyone's faces, and saying that their park is better just because they think so. I hate fanboys just as much as you do. I've given my reasons why I think Indy is better than PF. I happen to think they're valid reasons and I've given evidence to support it. How does that make me a 'fanboy'?
