  1. One of those really annoying repetitive youtube songs that then gets stuck in your head all day. What's worse than drinking tons of coffee all day because you were super tired from lack of sleep but needed to do school work, then being too awake from the coffee to actually sleep when it became time? (true story as we speak!)
  2. I read the ones for SFMM and it seemed like there were even more mistakes! Six Flags really needs to hire a good proof-reader/more creative writer for these things. I would totally do it! Subtle in-joke or delicious irony? You decide! LOL I love it! xD "One of the most-celebrated steel coasters" yeah right!
  3. I guess raise the parking, lower the fountain cup. It gets so hot there in the summer that you have to buy something to drink at some point, if not more than one. If I went quite often, I would just get season pass parking. Would you rather have Intamin quit making coasters forever or B&M quit making coasters forever?
  4. No, but I feel like I should. Can you see the face in these beans?
  5. Now I understand an earlier comment about going crazy with the Toy Factory song. And I just spent like an hour watching video tours of Knott's mazes. It makes me totally want to go to one of these things this year. I've never done Halloween at an amusement park, but nothing I saw looked too bad. The Doll Factory looked super creepy.
  6. I'd be shocked if they got anything like that in the next ten years, let alone next year. There are so many things to scream at the state about, it's ridiculous.
  7. Yes, but not as much as I like cats. Do you think the answers on this game should be strictly yes and no answers?
  8. I agree, at least with those at SFDK. Taz is down a lot but it's worth the wait when it is up and running, and it's pretty high capacity so the lines go fast. Voodoo is really fun also and it rarely has a wait longer than one circuit. I always ride it midday when all of the other rides have super long lines. You forgot about Superman!
  9. Slippicus Slidedownicus.... scientific name of the group of people on Wipeout who slip off of the big balls.
  10. We totally should!!! How about Pave Kong! Maybe we should just have a "Pave All Vekomas" page!
  11. Having 3 of your tires blow-out completely in one year when you're broke and constantly worrying about the last one (true story). What's worse than learning that the person you fell in love with online is the opposite sex and 40 years older than you thought he or she was? (True story somewhere)
  12. Isn't Voodoo a HUSS also? I don't see that one down as often as Tas. I would like to see new restraints on Boomerang as well, but I would definitely be in support of taking it out [in the next 5 years] for something better. The only problem with my solution is that Boomerang is not as tall so it can be where it is in the park while a taller coaster would probably exceed the height limit.
  13. Unfortunately, I have to agree with you. I don't see the west coast getting any world-class coasters anytime soon. Except that hyper at Knotts that's coming in 2012.
  14. You get banned forever from this site. What's worse than getting stuck in the middle of the desert with nothing but an empty water bottle and a toothbrush?
  15. That is interesting... because I've been there many many times and I'd say at least half the times Boomerang was closed for a good portion of the day. Tasmanian seems to be closed a lot too when I go, but I love Tasmanian a lot more than Boomerang. I really hope they get the new trains/restraints on Kong because I think it could be kinda fun if it wasn't for the pain.
  16. I voted floorless but I forgot about Apollo's Chariot and Nitro until someone else mentioned them. Those two were really great and I would love to go back to them someday. I have a soft spot for floorless B&Ms over inverts and flying coasters (except maybe Tatsu, Tatsu is awesome) but I'm going to have to say the Hypers for #1 and floorless 2nd.
  17. I have ridden El Toro. I'm mad at him because he's on the east coast and not the west coast.
  18. Did they say both?? I know they said it for Kong, but I don't remember the same being said about Boomerang. Boomerang is not only massively mediocre, but it breaks down a lot more than any of the other coasters. I hope they get rid of it before they get rid of any of the other thrill rides, but even then, it's probably going to be at least a few years before they should consider something like that.
  19. Flagged videos. I think Copyright issues could cause a lot more problems, but it depends. Would you rather make a living as a beggar on the street, or make the same amount of money working an extremely boring office job?
  20. El Toro. Never been on Voyage, but El Toro completely blew my mind. A really rough wooden coaster or an SLC?
  21. We just saw $4.29 in Truckee driving home today, but generally I think it's between $3.79 and $3.89 around here.
  22. Yes. But not as much as coasters. Have you ever seen your favorite band/singer live?
  23. Just attended Joshua Fest this past weekend. It was great! Saw my favorite band (Thousand Foot Krutch) for the 7th time ever, and had the added bonus of getting to chat a little bit with the band members after the concert. Crowd Cam: I can actually see myself briefly in this video, but I'm not going to tell you which one is me. You're just going to have to believe me. There was another band that did something like the above, I think it was Disciple. I'll have to keep my eyes open for it because I was there too bouncing up and down!
  24. The world ending in October of this year like that one guy is predicting. What's worse than having your car stolen?
  25. The wait might be worse for S:UF, but with Pandemonium, the ride ops took forever to load each individual spinning car. I noticed that they tried to completely fill up the cars and would stand there and ask if there were groups of 2 that could join another group of two. By the time a group of two would volunteer and then shuffle past everyone, the ops could have just sent the original 2 on their way and start to load another. Hopefully, the ops will do better with a ride like this (They do fairly well with V2) and the wait won't be too bad after a while.
