SFDK not replacing Pandemonium with anything. What's worse than SFMM announcing a new giga, only to find out that they neutered it down so much that it has 0 airtime?

I agree, Griffon felt way too short. But I could see SFMM getting a dive machine because they have just about every type of B&M except a dive machine, wing-rider, and hyper. Out of the three, a dive machine would be the least like any of the coasters they already have. However, we know that SFMM likes to be bigger and "better" with record-breakers, so I could see them wanting a really tall giga. I don't think it would conflict with Goliath at all. Plus, with the rumors of KBF getting one, I can't see SFMM letting that go through without putting up a fight. Really, at this point I think it could go any way, assuming they're even going to get a large coaster in the near future and not something else.

I've seen several horror movies that are coming soon that look creepily interesting. This time of year there's always a few because of Halloween. But I'm also wary because there are very few horror movies that I actually think are decent or worth watching, and it's hard to tell which ones are going to be good just from the previews. Has anyone seen any good ones recently? I usually let the reviews start coming in before I decide to spend my money on them or not.

Just noticed this post... I didn't think anyone else on this site had even heard of TFK. They are one of my favorite Christian bands. If you like them you might also want to try out bands like Skillet, Pillar, and Disciple. All great Christian bands. You're probably right! Although I think I saw someone else mention them, but it may have been you. I have CDs of all of the above. I haven't heard anything recent from Pillar, but I got soooo sick of Where Do We Go From Here that I can't even hear them anymore. I felt the same way about Disciple with their 2004 CD and the single "Scars Remain" until I saw them in concert recently and decided to buy Horseshoes and Handgrenades. AMAZING CD. I've been listening to it in my car every day and I love it!! They might just make it to my top 5... I also bought the Project 86 live CD and I really like them too, but I always forget that I like them. I can't remember if I mentioned Red, but their newest CD Until We Have Faces is amazing too. And I also love Emery, though I frequently forget I like them too. I haven't gotten We Do What We Want yet, but it's on my list. Since you like TFK, have you been following their youtube channel lately? They've been posting teasers for the CD they're recording. IT. SOUNDS. AWESOME!!! It would bring in me, not even from the Bay Area, and probably people from the Sacramento area as well. They really should get a new coaster, but I don't think they're going to do it for 2012. In the least , it would compete significantly with the new coaster at SFDK. If I were them, I'd wait it through 2012 (and maybe add a flat ride or something small) and then pull all the strings for something really cool for 2013. By then they could announce it mid-to-late-2012 and market it for all it's worth. I think I'd rather wait and have them do something really cool and build up the anticipation, then them slap something random down and/or have tons of delays and not get it opened when it was expected. You know what? They should relocate Zonga just for kicks.

Aren't there random shops that can do t-shirt printing for a fee? I know some shops don't do certain types of printing individually, but some do. It depends on how many you want to make I suppose and what type you want. I know a place locally that does stuff like that and they said there were two types of printing, and one of them is cheaper for individual tees, the other is better for mass tee-printing. I'm not sure about that, but what I'd worry about more is the weather. There have been freak lightning/rain storms in the area lately and they're not going to keep any of the rides open if there's lightning.

Hopefully this means that there might be something new for KBF in 2012, Giga or not. But I have one issue with the idea that the clearing is for a Giga... didn't we already establish that Cedar Fair was really bad at keeping secrets? If they were really far enough along in plans for a Giga, wouldn't we have heard more about it by now than some obscure rumors?

I think they must have been moving their way inland because we've had the craziest freak thunderstorms in the last two days. Today was freaking terrifying. LOUD close-sounding thunder and lightning, rain like bullets, and for a bit, dime-sized hail. It came so quickly and did this for a while and then suddenly stopped. While the above was going on: I did 5-straight hours of Calculus with 2 classmates. It's the longest (and most difficult) session of math I've ever done in my life. I also drank more coffee in that time than I ever have in one day. If my posts are sounding delirious today, it's probably because I just need to go to bed and let my mind rest. In fact, I think I'm going to do that now.

Hmm... tough one. I'd say yes because KBF gives a lot more attention to detail and park maintenance than SFMM, but personally I'd rather go to SFMM more often than KBF (because I like the coasters at SFMM better). If given the chance, do you think you could design a coaster that would become the world's best coaster?

What?!? Why Scream above Medusa?!? You're entitled to your opinion for sure, I've just never heard anyone who liked Scream better.

1) X2 definitely! 2) Tatsu 3) Deja Vu 4) Goliath 5) Batman The rest I'd have to think about, and I haven't been on Superman since it's changed to S:EFK and I only went on Termapocalypse once when it was Terminator and I usually like to ride coasters more than once before I decide how much I like it.
