SFA Trip Report!!! (no pics ) Yesterday was my high schools graduation so school was closed. I had nothing to do and a season pas. Also some friends that like the parks also. So we went to Six Flags America and had alot of fun. First, I would like to say is that thank GOD that SFA fixed the batwing sign! If you haven't seen it yet, it said B_TWING but you could clearly see the A laying on the roof. All of the coasters were open except TwoFace, which is scheuled to open soon. They had the plastic dummies on the seats and might have tested it but I didnt look over there to much. The only break-downs I noticed were Joker's Jinx, which broke-down at around 3:00. Batwing also broke-down later at around closing. (which was 6:00 today). The crowds were extremely light. Only a few schools and families were there. I also wanted to brag to the people who still havent gotten their Joker credit. I RODE IT! HAHA SUCKERS! j/p I arrived at the park around 2:15 and as soon I got in, we headed straight to The Wild One. Awesome coaster and it felt smoother than I remembered. After Wild One, I rode Tower of Doom twice. Next we went over to Gotham City to ride the best steel coasters in the park, Joker, Supes, and Batwing. We went to Joker first, but it was stuck so we headed for Superman. Superman as well as Wild One was a walk-on. We only rode it once since Joker was testing while we were riding. After Superman, we went to Batwing, since Joker was still testing. Batwing had about a 15 inute wait and the staff were dispatching the trains sort of fast. That was the shortest line I have ever seen for Batwing since the Thursday Nght Concert Series last year. After Batwing, we went over to ROAR. It had no wait what so ever and I could tell it has gotten alittle rough over the years. It's still a great ride though. We skipped Mind Eraser because the park was closing soon and we wanted to ride Wild One again. Since almost everyone had left at around 5:20 we rode Wild One twice and then decided we would end the day on Joker. Joker's Jinx was better than I had remembered! The ride ops tricked us by saying "unlock" so I thought the noise that the ride made was the sound of the train unlocking. Boy was I wrong! Out of nowhere, I'm talking to my friend and we go blasting through the tunnel! It caught me off gaurd. It was so fun and to me it felt faster than last year. So in all, I had a extremely great day at Six Flags America. The dispatches weren't as bad as most people say, but they could of been better. I can't wait to go back in like 2 weeks. I should have my camera and I will take hundreds of pics. .Also I found this new view of Mind Eraser which was so awesome that I wished I had my camera to take a pic of it. I'm not telling where that awesome view was so dont ask THE END...............END THE.............????????????????? lol

I agree. They should fix fix the wave pool. It's very crumbly. That's all I can think of thats wrong with Hurricane Harbor. As for the rest of the park, they should add theming to everything in Gotham. And after you get Gotham out of the way, go ahead and add some new attractions to keep people coming back. Also Tony Hawk's Halfpipe was seen testing on May-22! The new slide opens TODAY!

For me Wild One and Superman are tied for best ride there. Then Jokers Jinx in 2nd best (when its open/and not crowded Also SFA does get crowded. Do not ever visit SFA on a hot saturday in July at around 1:00pm, thats when everybody and their momma are up there Im going to SFA next wedensday! I'll see if I can find my camera, but if I dont, i'll use my phone

I am planning on going there, but I have other plans If anyone is going to go, please take pics. I'll see if I can get some pics in when I finally go sometime next week. For those of you that know nothing about Tony Hawk's Halfpipe (THHP/THH) it is a "slide with no sides" themed as a skateboard ramp at a skatepark. SFA hasn't yet added any theming to the slide but has mentioned it on the blog. Also you can talk about the good things about SFA. Are they going to paint all of the track orange or leave half yellow and half orange? I hope they chose ONE color because it would look weird as multi-colored.

Six Flags America -I would re-add Iron Eagle, Sky Escaper, and Kryton Comet (basically all of the flats that have inversions) -re-paint all of the coasters -add more flats -slipt Gotham into two sections (Batwing and Superman in their own section with new rides and buildings -add a Dark Knight Coaster or anything indoors -add shops and bathrooms near Batwing -fix Batwings sign (it says B_TWING now -re-open Hurricane Mountain -theme the rides and sections -fix Tower of Dooms 3rd side -bring back The Tilt -add a Johnny Rockets and a Coldstone -add new rides/coasters/ and lands to that huge empty space next to Gotham City

I've only been on Shockwave at KD and Riddler's Revenge at SFMM and I liked them both. Riddler was the obvious winner between those two

SFA's best ride is Superman KD's best ride is Volcano

SFA is always like that on opening day. But by about the 3rd/4th week, the park is alot better. Also how come all of you guys have such a terrible time at SFA? Everytime I go, they are nice and the only long wait is for Batwing.

Did you know that Six Flags America first opened as The Wildlife Preserve of Largo (or something close to that) before it became Wild World or Adventure World

I'm sorry, but I can't believe you just posted that here! You will probably pay no attention to this, coming from a 14 year old, but that was one of the most stupid, immature posts I have ever read! First of all, enthusiasts should be leaders at amusement parks. We complain about people acting stupid, so what you just posted displays hypocriticism. If anyone deserved to be "beat" after the ride, it was you. First of all, your party was involved with line jumping, which is STRICTLY forbidden at amusement parks. Secondly, you totally disrupted a family environment. People come to parks to have fun, not get cussed at and flicked off... Actually for your information, she had lost her purse and was trying to find it so she went looking for it. The girls started the whole "fight" by yelling and cursing at us. We weren't really going to beat them up, we were just going to yell and maybe something would happen.

Bring up old subject!!!! About 2 years ago, me, my cuzzo (cousin) and my sister were at SFA about to ride Two Face. We were infront of these 2 girls and behind about 3 groups of people. Then my sister starts looking for her purse. She thinks she left it outside the station so she leaves and comes back over and over again. Eventually the hoes behind my sister and my cuzzo get mad. So they didnt let my sister back infont of them. Our ride was next so my cuzzo pulled my sister through them and that made them even more mad. I might of said move out of the way bi*ches lol. So as we are on the ride and the ride ops are locking everyone in, the hoes finally say something. (If you have ever rode Two Face, you'll know that the air gates are very tall and look like jail bars.) So we look at them like they are stupid and call them pussies and bi*ches. As the ride goes up the lift, we flick them off. We also flick them off again when the ride comes back through the station, both times! After the ride we decide to wait for them and beat their a$$es. But they had left the line after our ride. Those f*ckin pussies! We eventually saw them again when we were heading towards Superman. When they saw us they mean mugged us and ran towards Skull Island (section of park with Roar and Skull Mountain)

SFA was terrible only because it had just opened and there was a huge cheerleading competition going on. I used flashpass on Superman, Mind Eraser, and Roar. Also they were still cleaning up some of last season's problems. By the time they have the East Coast Trip, the park should be ready
