  1. Yep, we were there and the crowds weren't that bad. We had morning ERT on 3 coasters so the other credits weren't hard to get, esepecially with The Flash Pass and it not being THAT crowded. It was an interesting day, but we left early to avoid DC rush hour and because we already had all the credits. I wouldn't say it was like extremely crowded, just crowded for a Monday. I got there at 12 and the lines to get in the park were huge. I think I saw two TPR buses but I'm not sure. It would of been cool to see you guys there but oh well, maybe next time.
  2. Did yall actually go to SFA today? If you did you probabaly had a terrible time since the crowds were crazy today. I was there and I didnt see anyone who looked like they were from TPR.
  3. I'm going to be at SFA today! I might see you guys there. Hopefully you guys dont hate my homepark too much lol.
  4. The first park that came to mind is Six Flags America. Wild One is a grrrrreat coaster that doesnt get much love since the park it's at is such a dump. Also Joker's Jinx, Superman, Batwing, and Roar are fantastic coasters. Two Face is also on the list but it's been closed and might become scrap metal by next year. Mind Eraser would be better with those new Vekoma seats. So all I'm saying is that if Parc bought SFA, it would be a all-around better place
  5. ^Your exactly right. SFA does have some nice shows during Fright Fest and the haunted house was kind of lame. I hardly ever went into it because the line was always so long. I'd much rather pay $15 to go to the haunted house at the Bowie Baysox arena. I remember when SFA had Dead Man's Party. That was the best show I ever saw at a park not in Orlando lol. I'd much rather have that than Toxic Zombie Jam. That was so dumb, I left during the first 5 minutes. But at a side note, most people rather get scared than watch some dancing zombies. They should try their best to bring back Midnight Express since theres no haunted attraction. Also have alot more monsters roaming the paths with chainsaws. They haven't used chainsaw monsters in a other than in the haunted house, in a while.
  6. I was at the park Wedensday and the building that houses the haunted house is still as bad as it was a whole week ago. Nothing has changed! I guess SFA just doesnt care that we ost our only haunted house, yet they are putting up more and more signs about Fright Fest.
  7. That looks pretty cool! I really need to get back to Orlando next year. So many new rides have opened/opening since 2005! This Crazy coaster Expedition Everest Manta Harry Potter Aquatica Simpsons I didnt ride Mummy (I dont know if it opened in 2005 or before)
  8. I know that alot of people visit Mrytle Beach, but they probably don't know that the park exists. How far exactly is Hard Rock Park from North Mrytle Beach? If its far from where all the action is then many people wouldnt even try to go there or wont find out about it.
  9. Same thing with SFA. But I'm not saying that SFA should open up hotels and things. The majority of people visiting SFA are locals and bored tourists who visit DC. Maybe one day when the economy is better and SFI actually sells the park to another company that would take care of it (Parc) they could build resort hotels on the property. Alot of people visit DC every year and if SFA was worth the 20 minute trip from DC, it could be a major park in the Mid-Atlantic region.
  10. I think RCDB still has pics of Ultra Twister's trains when they were lying next to Wild One's turnaround (the huge empty space near Jokers Jinx)
  11. I cant. The smallest park I've been to would have to be Virginia Beach Amusement Park. There is no coaster, but some flat rides, games, and food. The star attraction there is the Skyscraper ride. It sits 4 people at a time. Two people load one side, while the other two are sitting in the about 200ft in the air waiting to be brought back down. I regret not riding it when I was there last April, but it costed $20 and it was starting to rain. Oh yeah, they also have a portable log flume.
  12. ^SFA might not be up there with KD, BGE, HP, etc. but we were getting there back in 2001 lol (right after Batwing, Superman, Jokers Jinx, and Two Face opened. 1999-2001)
  13. Yeah, the track is in that junkyard behind Batwing. The trains are under-neath the 2nd and 3rd hills on Superman. I also heard that some of the parts of the ride are being used on some existing rides in the park since the coaster was too damaged to build when we got it.
  14. Ofcourse your going to say S:ROS at DL/SFA is boring and not as thrilling as S:ROS at SFNE. Just because they have the same name, doesn't mean they will be the same ride. S:ROS at SFNE is a all around better ride and everyone knows that.
  15. This park freaks me out how old and dangerous-looking the coasters are..... I really want to go one day!
  16. Mind Eraser at SFA only hurt my head one time. I dont know what I do to keep it from hurting so much but that ride is always fun for me. Probably cause I have a big head BATWING at SFA is my favorite and would be even better if it had better ride ops. Also Two Face was fun, hopefully it doesn't get removed so I can ride it again as that was my 1st and only boomerang coaster!!!
  17. O dang! I didnt realize before that you skipped my home park, SFA lol
  18. #1: Getting stuck on the front seat on Mind Eraser at around 3:00. It was about 90+ degrees that day And..they didnt let us get off so we had to finish the painful ride. #2: Waiting 1 hr to ride Batwing in 100* weather to find out that it was going to close as soon as you reached the station. Well technically thats not a ride experience but it was almost 1!
  19. Nice PTR! All the parks looks great
  20. SUPERMAN RIDE OF STEEL at SFA last night around 9:30! It was pitch black outside! I love night rides
  21. Wood: Hurler (KD & Carowinds) Steel: Mind Eraser clones but they are bearable to me
  22. ^LOL yeah I totally agree with you, I don't like the Dejavu/Behemoth stlye seats at all. Also it just looks weird to me.
  23. I've been to Six Flags America atleast 500 times. I've been going atleast 2 times every week for the past couple of years since I have a season pass and the fact that I can hear people screaming on roller coasters from my house (that means its close lol)
  24. ASre you going to post SFA and HP???
  25. I was at the park yesterday and saw the damage of the building. It looks like a junkyard and still smells like smoke. Its kind of weird to be able to see Coyote Creeks shops in Skull Mountain. I really hope the re-build it or add a new ride there, something!!! But now that all of this chaos is over, I really wonder how Fright Fest is going to be this year since SFA is out of a haunted house. Im really curious to see if the park does something about it.
